The Legends Of Creator Hero

The Legends Of Creator Hero
A million soul cores

"So I was on the 16th floor, yeah."

Gunam Rigel's.

Right now, I was in a park not far from the headquarters of the Region guild. I had walked around the base until I got bored and chose to breathe the fresh breeze from the mountains.

This 16th floor was a green floor, all looking green as there were only mountains, trees and grass as far as the eye could see. There was also a big city city on this floor but they were covered by giant trees that were approximately 80 meters high.

Because it is still filled with plants and trees, the air around is a little cold and cool. The sun that was either real or fake because it was inside the labyrinth made me confused, but the sun was shining brightly.

I noticed the area around the Region guild headquarters, there are currently more people who are here. As I recall when conquering the floor to the last floor we conquered, no more than 150 troops joined one by one each of us on the floor.

It seemed that the Region guild had recruited people from the 5th floor and above. It seems like they do need a large army and from what I heard due to the increasing number of cadets, they are also recruiting competent people to become one of the Region's union executives like the higher-ups.

Although I was a little interested in the selection of the Executive election, there were other things that bothered me more. It was the last moment I faced Arch Licht who was being possessed by the prince of hell, Azazel.

I don't understand what he meant by the promised day...

"Who am I and for what reason was I born, huh? I don't understand whether humans need a reason to be born into this world."

Rigel spoke for himself.

Although I do not know that there is a reason behind the birth of someone, but I believe that there must be something that everyone must do.

'Huh, it would only be a tumor if it kept thinking.'

Inner Rigel.

For now I have to think about the situation I will face later. I sat on a chair near a large tree that blocked the sunlight.

Now there are more reasons for me to finish this floor in less than 90 years.

I've been here long enough and I still don't understand how this place works. During my time here I've tried several ways to find out the true form of this labyrinth.

I once tried to walk from east to west without turning around while hoping to find a boundary or wall that limited this world so that I would know what this labyrinth looked like.

But I did not manage to find anything, I continued walking but still could not reach the limit of this vast labyrinth so it made me doubt whether this is true labyrinth. Besides, what about the sun? The sun really rises in the morning and sets at night.

What kind of power can make something like this? Rather than the labyrinth, I'm more comfortable calling this place a clone of the world.

Then, another thing that bothered me was Azazel who met me through Arch Licht. Even from that meeting, I knew he was very strong, I wasn't sure I could defeat him.

Even fighting Arch Licht alone has cornered me to the point of using a series of curses. I admit that his strength is very strong but the fee required is not small.

The payoff from using the anger curse series is age and status decline. The more often and the longer I activate the curse series, it will shorten my lifespan. For the decline in status is a decrease in everything about attack power, endurance, defense and others.

If it's just a regular drop, then it's okay. However, his hunting was very significant even with my current self, I would be overwhelmed just by dealing with 1 weak goblin.

If I hadn't been here, I would have been creeped out and frightened to hear my age cut off. But since I was in the labyrinth where my body was a soul, I had nothing to worry about.

Here, even though my soul core is shrinking due to the payment from the curse series, I can still absorb another soul core to strengthen and enlarge my soul core. I've absorbed some soul cores.

They were all shaped like a drop of frozen water, they had a greenish-blue color like jade. From small to the largest, they are a drop of water but only size sets them apart.

For example, like when I take a goblin's soul core, then the soul's core shape will resemble the face of the goblin whose soul core I took.

"First of all, I'll count again how much I have."

Mumbles Rigel.

Rigel muttered "Index." and stretched out his hand to open the infertory.

"Hmm?"

Rigel's confused.

When I checked my infertory to see how many soul stones I had arrived my entire body trembled...

"A-a million soul stones!"

I unconsciously let out a scream but luckily no one heard my scream. My body trembled happily but on the other hand I was also frightened because the number of one million souls I had came from the Undead.

Since when did I kill this many undead?

As I recall, I only sucked in magic energy but the indead junlah was not this much. At first I thought that this soul stone was a fragmented Arch Licht soul stone, but when I saw the other tenants, it was somewhere else and not just Arch Licht, there were two dragon-shaped soul stones.

Is this a bonus because I have defeated Arch Licht so that his undead army is dead and his soul core is mine? Or is this the little bonus Azazel gave me?

Suddenly, I remembered Dandan's words as he explained to me about the soul stone.

When I sucked the soul stone then the ability it could use before, I daoat use. So in short it's like a rune stone, where a pent-up force is sealed into the stone and when you're scooping the stone, you can use that power.

"If so, it means.. Me?"

Rigel murmured softly, while staring at the stone Arch Licht.

Not long after, I shook my head.

"No, no, no way. If it really happened it would tarnish my title as a holy hero."

Rigel muttered while chuckling.

If that were true and Rigel used that way, everyone's image of the essence of the holy hero emanating from heaven would change drastically and would tarnish the title of hero.

"Haha, where there is a hero who will use evil forces like raising an army of death like a Necromancer."

Rigel sneered while throwing the soul core of Arch Licht back into the Infertory.

'Well, that doesn't mean this can't be a mainstay card. I'll keep it for now.'

Inner Rigel.

True, no saintly hero borrows power from death, but that applies only if he is still a hero.

I headed back to the Region guild headquarters to meet the guild master because there were some things I wanted to talk to him about.
