The Legends Of Creator Hero

The Legends Of Creator Hero
The Resurrection of Hero II

Takumi arrived at the right time. Everyone Rigel allowed here has been present. Everyone was waiting for Rigel to tell him his destination. Especially about the hero awakening Rigel spoke of.

"I repeat my previous words. I intend to give birth to a new hero, right now. You are the ones who will witness this miracle in front of your eyes."

"Wait-wait!" Takumi stopped Rigel, "What do you mean by giving birth to a new Hero? and, what does that have to do with Nanami's body?"

"Calm down, Takumi. I'm just gonna explain it now." Rigel answered,

"As I said, I will give birth to a new hero and for that, I need Nanami who is now a former Hero. I also need a candidate who matches his weapon, the whip. That's where the role of Merial is."

Rigel turned towards the puzzled Merial, "I thought you were quite an expert at whipping and not to mention, you were a Weapon Master. So I thought you were someone fit for this job."

"Wait a minute, Mr. Rigel. I'm sure there are still people more worthy than me to use the whip. And also, what's the other reason you chose me?" Merial stopped Rigel's explanation to ask.

"There are two reasons. First of all, I need people who are in control and I trust to be Heroes. And secondly, you may not know it, but I can also say a former Hero." Hearing that, everyone in the room was dumbstruck.

"You too? w-how can it?" Takumi asked in surprise.

"Yes, you should have remembered if the idior Altucray said I lost my Divine so he had to kill me. For that, I'll discuss it with you in four eyes, Takumi." Rigel gestured that he would explain that later.

"I lost Divine Protection which seems to be the thing that heroes have. Besides, I remember that Ozaru's weapon is not the divine weapon of this world. That wand he already had long before coming to this world. So, there's still a chance that the twelfth Hero hasn't actually been summoned."

Everyone was back because of it. If it is true that the Ozaru Wand is something that did belong to him from the beginning and was not a divine weapon, there is still a possibility that there is one hero weapon that has not risen.

"But where do you know this kind of thing, Rigel?" Takumi asked while thinking.

"I have my own investigation. Nanami is dead, and her Hero's qualifications are missing which makes her a former Hero. I'm the same, but I'm still alive and my Hero Creator powers can still be put to good use. Then, Ozaru's scepter isn't a Hero's weapon that already exists in this world... In short, I thought that there was a possibility to give birth to three more Heroes."

Really, the thing Rigel said and wanted to do was really something. One Hero has died, and if Rigel's hypothesis is correct that it could add three other heroes, then there would be a total of fourteen holy heroes. The balance of power may be broken and the victory of mankind will increase even if only slightly.

"So the point is, you want to make a guinea pig to summon a new Hero and make him a Hero. For the reason you chose him, is it possible because he is a Weapon Master?" Ray spoke his mind.

Rigel nodded in agreement, "Right. The Merial can use all the weapons he holds and that's something he rarely encounters. If my theory of the three new Heroes is correct. I'm sure that Merial will get three choices to become what kind of hero he wants to be." Rigel came to the conclusion of his story.

Everyone was digesting the information they had just received.

"So, if Miss Merial doesn't get the choice you're referring to, which means there's no possibility of three heroes?" Tirith asked about the conclusion he made.

"really so. That's why, I'm not really hopeful about the possibility of three new heroes. Even if there really were three new Heroes, it would take time to prepare the existing candidates."

"I understand." Takumi nodded, "So, what does this have to do with Nanami's body? and how did you give birth to Merial as a Hero?" Takumi.

"I've asked Misa to investigate that while letting you and the other heroes overcome Tortoise."

Let's go back a little bit to the past. Flashback. This is the secret talk of Rigel and Misa during the beginning of the emergence of Tortoise. Rigel and Misa who had finished treating Yuri went to the Control room, the heart of the Region system.

"So, what did you find out?" Ask Rigel.

"Yes, this is about the research you asked me to do... I have confirmed that... Dead heroes can be raised again." Misa said firmly.

Hearing that, Rigel was surprised that the random thought he thought was true, "Tell me more details."

"Yes. At first I was confused as to why you asked me to prioritize research on the death of Heroes rather than the divination stone. As you ordered, I and the research team searched through the various information in the Region library that had existed since the time of King Asland. We continue to search the ancient records in the Kingdom but can't find anything, except one." Misa paused for a moment and drank the drink Rigel had prepared.

"We found a children's book." Misa continues.

Rigel muttered, "Fairytale book?"

Misa took something out of the Inventory. Sure enough, what he put out was a fairy tale book that was very outdated. Rigel picked it up and tried to read it. But because his writing was a relic of an ancient dynasty, Rigel could not read it.

"Thanks to an Archaeologist who was Fang's friend, we were able to decipher the contents of the storybook. At first I didn't expect anything from the book, but after the Archaeologist deciphered it, I was very surprised. The book tells the story of a hero who met his end. The hero seems to have died from fighting a Dragon. However, apparently it was a scenario from the Kingdom that called out to him. The kingdom had intended to kill the Hero and replace him with someone else. They've prepared a magic to give birth to a new hero." Misa paused for a moment and took a breath.

"They chose the prince of the Kingdom as the one who would replace the dead Hero. He utters his vow in front of the dead body of the Hero and makes the blessing of the Hero to hear his vow then chooses him as a replacement for the Hero who died before... From this, I have concluded several things regarding the resurrection of the Hero :

we must prepare a hero summoning magic circle. To prepare it, it takes at least a week.

- The candidate must be someone who mastered the divine weapon of the hero who died before.

then, the corpse of the dead hero must be in that awakening and the candidate must utter his oath. Looks like it's a mandatory condition if you want to give birth to a new hero."

Rigel was silent and digested Nisa's explanation well. If it is true that the dead Heroes can be replaced, then this Tortoise incident can be utilized by Rigel by letting other Heroes face it and waiting for some of them who block Rigel's path.

"Good job, Nisa. Is there nothing else you want to report?"

"T-no... It's just, I wonder why you asked me to investigate something like that." Misa seemed to hesitate when she said it.

Rigel paused for a moment and said, "Just in case something like that happens." Rigel began to rise from his seat and left.

"For now, that's enough. Rest for now, while you can. It's so messed up outside, that I might need your help at any time."

"All right then. Call me whenever you want." Misa smiled and got up from her chair. Rigel smiled after him.

Back to the time of origin. After hearing Rigel's story, Takumi scratches his temple and digests Rigel's story.

"So, I understand that. So, Nanami's body has to be there if she wants to make Merial a Hero?" Takumi draws his conclusions.

Merial looked doubtful and troubled, "Anu, I feel unworthy of being a Hero. I think there are a lot of people besides me who are better suited for that kind of title."

Rigel smiled, he had already expected those words to come out of Merial's mouth.

"It is your humility that makes you fit to receive that title, Merial. Rest assured to yourself, I will not force you to do so because the burden carried will be very great. However, with less Heroes, the fight ahead will be more difficult, and more fatalities."

In battle, in addition to numbers and information, the superiority of each individual can determine the course of the war. Even if a hundred soldiers were trained against two hundred ordinary soldiers then the superiority remained with the knights who had trained hard.

Rigel's words touched the heart of Merial. He hesitated to refuse to be a hero. Even when she remembered Riri and the other little children, her heart became sick if for no reason. Merial clenched her fingers and strengthened her resolve.

"... Alright. I'm willing. I'll be the successor to the Hero of the Whip!" Merial.

Rigel smiled, as did Ray, Tirith and Takumi.

"Goodoo. But before that, you better take out all the weapons you've stored up because it won't be useful if you become a Hero." Rigel gave me advice. If Merial is truly chosen, then the weapons in his storage will rot because he is unable to take them out thanks to the divine weapon abstinence.

Merial followed Rigel's advice and took out all the weapons he had. Starting from a magic wand, a magic sword and several other weapons.

Rigel nodded and stretched out his right hand while reciting a voiceless spell. The magic circle is shining brighter. Takumi and the others step aside and leave Merial with Nanami's corpse. Merial took a breath, closed his eyes and opened his eyes with determination.

"My name is Merial Ainsworth. I swear I will give all my soul and body for this task. I swear I'll do my best until the blood-soaked point!" Nanami's body began to emit a faint purple glow as Merial uttered his vow.

"I will protect mankind along with the other Heroes! I want to protect the future of children who do not yet know how vast the world is. I don't swear to God, I swear to myself and my promised future!"

The rays on Nanami's corpse grew brighter and blurred everyone's eyes. Rigel watched her, he did not want to waste time blinking. The scene before him was not something he could witness every day. The purple light slowly lifted from Nanami's body and flew parallel to the surprised view of Merial.

There was only one light coming out, it made Rigel a little disappointed but he was still happy because his summon was successful in one try. The purple light flickered and floated. Maybe he's trying to confirm something from Merial.

"I don't know if I really deserve to use a divine weapon and I'm sure I'm not the one who fits the Hero's image... However, I will fight as hard as I can to call myself worthy of being a Hero!" The sherial spoke to the ball of light.

The light shone even brighter and in a short time, he flew towards Merial. The light blurred the surrounding scenery, Rigel had to close his eyes because it was so glare. The light covered the body of the Merial completely and made it float slightly in the air.

"Did it work?" Rigel muttered while blocking the rays using his hands.

The light slowly dimmed and brought the Merial down from the air slowly. Merial looked at both his hands and his body in bewilderment as a huge change occurred in his body.

"Did that work?" Takumi asked. He stared at Nanami's body which no longer shone like before.

"Merial, how? did you make it?" Ray also asked Merial.

"... I don't know myself... For some reason, my body feels fitter than ever..." Merial told me the condition of his body had changed slightly.

The slightly recovered Rigel walked over to Merial, "Try your Index access. Maybe your weapon will appear when you start activating the index again..." Rigel gave me advice.

Takumi recalled a memory that was still very fresh when he had just arrived here. He remembered, in order to activate his divine weapon, he had to shout the index first and then the weapon would come out.

"It seems so. I remember something like that happened to me before." Takumi.

Hearing the two Heroes say that, Merial had no choice but to follow their advice.

"Then... Index!" Merial called out an index and something shone in his right hand.

The light slowly formed a colored weapon into a pool. A weapon that can extend and wrap around its opponent. Whips.

Rigel smiled happily as the summoning succeeded, "Thank God it worked. Moreover, the possibility of three Heroes seems to be non-existent." Rigel also felt a little disappointed due to that fact.

"Yes, it is dear. But we should be grateful that Merial can become a Hero, replacing Nanami." Takumi said a little sadly as he discussed Nanami, "Since this is done, what if we buried Nanami first?"

"No. There's still something we have to talk about, four-eyed, Takumi." Rigel rejected Takumi's suggestion. She looked at Merial and the others as a sign that she wanted to be alone with Takumi.

"Oh! and also, for now, I want you to keep your mouth shut that I've made Merial a Hero. Well, let's discuss that later..." Rigel waved his hand and came face to face with Takumi.

Merial and the others will be waiting outside. Leave Rigel and Takumi in a brief silence.

"... So, what do you want to talk about, Rigel?" Takumi asked and looked Rigel in the eye as he approached Nanami's body.

"I want to talk to you about something. About the Hero getting lost, and the day of my death," Hearing that from Rigel's mouth, Takumi was wide-eyed in surprise.

"It was all just a foul scenario created by the idiot Altucray and...... Takatsumi."

The mysteries and riddles Takumi seeks to solve are finally revealed. His allegations about Takatsumi are not wrong. Takumi clenched his fists in annoyance and calmed himself as hard as possible.

"You don't seem surprised by that, Takumi." Rigel. His gaze was still staring at Takumi.

"Yes... I've been doing some research on that, and I'm guessing Takatsumi did it." Takumi was slightly bowed, "However, why did you just reveal all this now Rigel?" Takumi looked back at Rigel.

Rigel smiled if Takumi directly asked the core that he really wanted to discuss, "For that, I have a plan of my revenge. I deliberately held back and had been quiet enough all this time... However, the fight ahead will be very difficult, so I decided to act."

Even before Rigel explained most of the story, Takumi understood one thing, "I've understood a little, where you're going. So, let's just get us to the plan? should we make it pork?" Takumi smiled vengefully, so did Rigel.

"Thank God you understand... Yeah, come closer... We'll discuss the strategy ahead..."
