Destroyer Tortoise

A place far enough away from the great Kingdoms, in a forest that had high-level monsters, there was a group of adventurers who went to a remote area in the southern area. They went to this remote and rarely visited area in search of treasure.

"Heyy, how long are we going to keep going to this remote place? it's been four days we've been walking but found nothing." Said a red-haired adventurer named Jugo.

"Who do you think this is wrong? if it wasn't for you making a fuss in the guild, we wouldn't have had to go here to make up for the losses you've made." Reply to the witch girl named Myra.

"You need to stop complaining about Jugo, because you're the cause of all this, just like Myra said." The barbarian girl named Vein agreed with Myra.

"You're the same, Vein. If only you hadn't gotten drunk and left behind a debt, we wouldn't be this poor..." A man named Pluto.

"Stop your fighting! focus on finding something that can make you money!" The female elf named Miya.

Everyone fell silent as Miya snapped at him. As he said, look for something valuable and give them that is their top priority for now.

The party contained six people with three men and three women. One healer, two Mages and the rest were fighters and archers.

"Tch! At least the fairy queen and the heroes should know this!" Said Miya, "Gustov, can you call your Familiar and take Myra away from here?" Miya continued, while summoning the little spirits around.

Gustov without hesitation called out his Familiar who was in the form of a two-meter-tall Eagle. On the other hand, green light started to gather around Miya.

"Please pass this on to the fairy queen. Tortoise, the Destroying Tortoise has awakened!"

Hearing Miya's words, all the party colleagues were shocked upon hearing her. It was only fitting that Miya seemed so frightened of something, obviously, because among them, only Miya could sense the Mana of nature.

"You said Tortoise? Destroying turtle, one of those doom monsters? N-isn't he supposed to be dead, as the legend says...?" Jugo said tremblingly.

"The legend was deliberately made to give us peace... In reality, Tortoise was only sealed by heroes from the past by sacrificing his life." Said Miya.

"So, k-we're gonna die here??" Pluto's Word.

Miya did not reply, she just kept quiet and swallowed the bitter reality they had to accept. Myra sat down in limp, knowing that her death would come soon. The vibrations caused by Tortoise are getting bigger. They don't have time anymore.

"At least one of us should survive and report this to the Heroes." Said Miya.

"My familiar staff can only transport one person... Then, Myra. I want you to be the one riding it and tell these things to the Heroes. Otherwise, humanity would be wiped out by it!" Gustov.

Everyone wants to live and see tomorrow. But their destiny is decided now.

"But— But, if I had just left, you'd be dead here... I don't want that. I still want to go on an adventure with you guys even longer..." Myra started crying.

"Just calm down, Myra. How long do you think we've been together? Somehow we will return safely. Even if not, please tell us that we are meritorious people who tell us about the resurrection of Tortoise..." Vein.

Pluto and Jugo also want to stay alive, but letting young Myra is the best option. Pluto and Jugo nod and carry Myra over Gustov's Familiar Eagle.

Kara pervaded sadly and carried the silent and crying Myra flying away. Myra turned towards her partymate with tears. His colleagues stared at his disappearance with a smile on his lips.

"I'm sorry, everyone!! I-i'm sorry! I will definitely promise, will tell the heroes and avenge you...!!! I swear, on the lives you saved..." Shouted Myra.

Myra and Kara have gone to Ruberios to report this. On the other hand, after Myra left, the remaining party colleagues remained silent and formed a circle. Gustov was the first to speak.

"It looks like this is going to be the end of our adventure, yes. I'm grateful to have met you... The years we spent were so fun. Thanks..." Gustov looked up at the sky with a smile on his lips. He tried to hold back his tears.

"Elf has a long life, we really appreciate what friendship is. All my life, only when I'm with you I feel so happy... I hope this continues forever." Said Miya.

"I hope that Myra does not forget to mention that we are the ones who saved mankind from the destruction of the Tortoise." Jugo.

The tremors grew louder, Tortoise had fully stood up straight and was about to walk. The five people kept him in the same place without moving a single bit.

"Yes, I didn't think I'd die a virgin like this. Damn, at least let me do that with you Vein.." Pluto said.

"Hahaha, in the next life, I'll give you what you want, Pluto." Vein said, smiling amusedly.

Tortoise's loud roar echoed within that dense forest. The huge black shadow of the mountain that was on Tortoise's shoulders was clearly emblazoned in the forest. The five people remained motionless, they were petrified in the same place.

"Vein's right... In the next life, let us meet and adventure again under a different name. And to be honest, I don't want to die..." Gustov said, tears began to fall from his eyes. And so did his other partner.
