Joan's expression turned ominous after hearing that. He smiled uneasily as he replied, "Didn't you promise not to ask Fane for help again last time, Miss Sharon?"
Sharon's expression became awkward. "I-I wasn't pretty at the time, so just thought that Fane must have rejected me. Now, I'm much prettier, and Fane is an amazing guy, so I want to try it again!"
Joan was starting to get upset. "I appreciate your affection for Fane, Miss Sharon, but I understand my son's nature better" he urged with a smile." He's stubborn and decisive. That's why when he tells you that he doesn't like you, chances are you'll never be able to convince him even if you try again. I'd advise you you better let go, Miss Sharon."

Xena took out the flax box happily then inspected the jade that was inside. "The color of this jade stone is truly extraordinary, Miss Sharon. It must be expensive."
"None of the jade pieces that our young lady chose for you this cost under a million dollars. This is a very good piece of jade!" One of the guards answered.
"That's expensive? Oh gosh. Missy... Miss Sharon, you're so kind!"
