"I can see that some of your friends are sincere to you and hope you find true love!"
Fane smiled and continued, "However, some of them are not your friends but poisonous snakes. They stay by your side just to wait to make fun of you!"
Sharon was in disbelief after hearing what Fane said. He smiled and said, "How... How come? Are you talking about the friends I just had with me?"
"Yes, I was talking about the person I last talked to!" Fane nodded.
He believed that he was a good judge of character because of his experience in the army and the number of people he had met.
"Serene Smith? How come? He was the one who treated me well among all my friends! He never hated me and was always attentive. He was the one who took the initiative to plan this declaration of love!" Sharon clearly did not believe it.
However, Fane replied, "Then it must be him. Do you think he did this for you? He's the one who wants to make jokes about you!"
"No way.... You only met him once and didn't know him. He's a very nice guy!"
Sharon shook her head. He wanted to believe that it was someone else and not Serene.

Sharon then looked at Fane after he spoke.

"Ha ha!" Fane could not help but laugh as he looked at Sharon's cute expression.
"Don't worry. All you have to do is lose your weight! You'll find someone you like and like. You'll have confidence again after being slim!"
"More easily said than done." Sharon smiled bitterly. "I don't know what to do. I should be thankful as long as my weight doesn't increase!"
"Just think, does your best friend offer food consistently, or occasionally? Is that something weird? Think carefully. He would have started giving you that food three years ago and never stopped !" Fane knew the answer with great confidence.
Fane intends to visit George's family to help Sharon after the incident at the auction house. He had no idea that they would meet under these circumstances before he could even visit!
"Food? I guess not," Sharon frowned and thought about it.
"Think carefully. That must be nothing. Believe me, there must be something. He wants to hurt you. I trust my instincts!" Fane said confidently.
After thinking about it for a long time, he failed to recall whether Serene had given him something to eat regularly or not.
