This idea further strengthens Ivan Taylor's assumption. Fane's delinquent plans to buy a villa for Grandpa Taylor's 70th birthday present.
All members of the Taylor family knew how beautiful the villa was. They wake up every morning to see it and pass through the view of the villa. The villa was located right across from the Taylor's Residence so they could see it at any time.
That's why Ivan came to see if he could get this villa for 20 to 30 million dollars. He wanted to give it to Grandpa Taylor for his birthday present, or maybe move out on his own and bring Grandpa Taylor to live with him.

Not long after, the two of them, Neil and Ken, arrive at the auction house by car. They immediately got out of the car and met Ivan who was waiting at the door

"Ivan, why did you ask us to come here? Is anything important?" ken asked as soon as he met Ivan.
When they were on the phone a moment ago, Ivan did not give any reason and simply asked them to come. It might be something serious and important.
"Do you two know what's up for auction today?"
Ivan did not respond to Ken's question, but instead replied to him with another question.
"Did? How would I know? I haven't noticed the auction for the past two days. Maybe nothing special. If there really is a golden opportunity, the auction will call to inform it!" Neil replied after thinking about it for a while.
"You're right. There was no notice at the auction today, just an ad on the site mentioning it!"
Ivan flashed an indifferent smile to them before continuing, "This time, the item auctioned is a luxurious villa that is right across from my Taylor Residence. The owner of the villa moved overseas, so he sold it." He paused for a moment.
"I'd like to bid for this villa and give it to Grandpa Taylor as his 70th birthday present. He will be very happy!"
Neil laughed out loud but the next second his forehead wrinkled.
"That's a good idea, but why did you call us both here? Is it because you don't have enough money to bid? Or is it because the company's capital is running low and you don't dare to embezzle it?"
An awkward smile instantly appeared on Ivan's face.
"That's far from the case. I just met Fane inside. I think that trashy must be here for the villa as well! I don't know where the money came from, but I think he wanted to buy this villa and give it to Grandpa Taylor too! I never thought that bastard would be as smart as me!"
"What's? No way! Is he here too?" Ken frowned and felt worried.
"Don't tell me he got his pay advance from Miss Tanya!"
Neil agreed. "If he had dared to come here, he would have already asked for his face money. That might not be a one month salary but two months!"
"The second young lady of Drake's family, why is she so good to Fane? The delinquent hasn't even worked for a whole month and he's been asking for two months' pay. That's 40 million dollars!"
Ivan was disturbed. "Hmph! Even if he had 40 million, he would still have to set aside 10 million dollars to give me the money to compensate! So the delinquent's only 30 million left to bid for the villa. Hehe! There's no way he can beat me!"
"Haha, since Fane is here to bid for the villa, I want to come along and watch a comedy show! I want to see how his facial expression turned ugly when he lost to Ivan!"
Ken laughed out loud. How could he miss the rare opportunity to witness such an embarrassing moment for Fane Woods?
"Fuckin' thick! Comein. The other bidder was a wealthy businessman who already owned several houses. They wouldn't compete for the villa. Therefore you won't have many competitors! The last victory is in your hands, Ivan!"
Ken nodded and agreed. The three of them quickly entered the auction room. Their faces were full of smiles..
"Oh, isn't that Fane Woods? The Taylor family's infamous, useless, trashy son-in-law! How coincidental! Why are you here?"
Ivan faked his shock as he sat down next to Fane and was followed by two other young masters.
