"How could Michael act like that? For no apparent reason he just changed his mind today after we reached an agreement yesterday!"
"Yes, absolutely not commendable. Could he have the courage to play with such a big deal?"
Everyone was furious and started to blame Michael. After realizing that no one was accusing him, Ivan in his heart was relieved.
Fane who had been listening all this time began to frown. Somehow he felt the entire incident regarding the cooperation contract was not as simple as it sounded.
It wasn't easy for Fiona to get an opportunity like this, so it was only natural that she had a hard time accepting it.
He immediately said, "Hhh, Ivan, our family has been waiting for some good news from you. We thought you were gonna get a 300 billion dollar business deal for the Taylor family. We didn't expect it all to have no results at all!"
At Fiona's words, Ivan's face looked extremely cold and bitter. At first he wanted to make Fiona and everyone here could flatter her incredible achievements. He didn't expect it to backfire on him.

Cecilia immediately interrupted and said, "Oh yeah, after the war veterans came home, they seemed to have a very hard time finding a suitable job. So, can he do his old job as a delivery guy?"

All he wanted to do now was spend time with his wife and daughter and live a peaceful life.
"Don't need money?" Ivan laughed when he heard it.
Even Fiona's expression instantly turned bitter.
"Heheh, don't you need money? Very amusing. Don't forget our agreement. Don't blame us if you can't pay those 30 million dollars when the time comes!"
Ivan chuckles before finally starting to laugh at Fane.
He continued, "You don't seem to be short on small money, do you? But you're short of 30 million dollars. So, I'm really interested to see how you're going to make that kind of money. If you can't pay when the time comes, it will prove that other than your ability to lie, you're nothing!"
"You don't have to worry about that promise of mine, four thousand a month, it's really an insult to me!"
