Selena's out of the bathroom. She was wearing a light blue nightgown. The nightgown looked soft and smooth. Fane could see Selena's white legs behind her nightgown. So tempting.


"What do you see?"


Selena looked at Fane sharply as she caught the man staring at her feet.


Suddenly an idea flashed through Selena's head. He winked at Fane then spoke in a seductive tone, "Darling, do you want to kiss me? You see you're lingering at me. Should I give you a chance?"


Fane did not expect Selena would say such a thing to him.


Looking at their daughter who was already sound asleep in bed, Fane nodded, "Of course I want to kiss you!"


Selena blushed as she walked towards Fane. Then he said, "I'll let you kiss me if you tell me the truth!"


"You sure? You're gonna let me kiss you if I tell you the truth?"


Fane frowned. He felt that things were much more complicated than they seemed.


"of course! I never lie!"


Selena swear..


"Well, I'll tell you the truth!"


Fane raised his hand and swore.


"Then, tell me honestly, is the woman wearing the mask really the Goddess of War?"


Selena asked.


Fane nodded his head, "Yes. She is Lana, the only Goddess of War. That's right!"


"Is he really your friend? Don't lie to me!" Selena looked at Fane deeply as if she could see all of Fane's head clearly.


Fane smiled bitterly then said, "Alright, I actually lied earlier. He's not really my friend!"


Selena's face turned grim when she heard Fane's words. He's not his friend, and he's rich; did Fane really become a mistress for forty million dollars?


"I already know. You're liar!"


Selena's eyes were reddened, she felt heartache.


"I'm sorry, I just want to live in peace. He's not my friend, he's actually my student!"


"Murids?"


Selena surprised. He doubted what he heard, "You're getting ridiculous! I couldn't believe it when you said he was your friend, but now you're saying that he's your student..."


"What's so ridiculous? He is my student!"


Fane shrugged, "You're the one who kept teasing me to tell you. Now I've told you, but you don't believe me!"


"Why didn't you tell me that the nine War Gods were your disciples as well? How ridiculous!"


Selena rolled her eyes at Fane.


"Actually, what you're saying is true. They are all my students."


Fane didn't know whether to laugh or cry, "I thought you wouldn't notice that. My wife, you're amazing!"


Selena almost fainted. This guy is really shameless. When did he get the guts to say that the nine War Gods were his disciples? Who does he think he is?


"I'm sick of your lies, you liar. You're such a fool!"


"Geez, why do I believe that you can bring happiness to our family? You only know how to boast!"


Selena looked at Fane, turned around, and prepared to go to sleep.


"Wait!"


Fane pulled him back and cornered him against the wall with one hand over his head. He stepped forward and stood closer to his body.


"You, what are you trying to do?"


Feeling confused, Selena's heart raced uncontrollably. Her beautiful eyes were wide open.


"You said I could kiss you if I told you the truth. You can't take back what you said, "can you?"


Fane grinned, staring at the figure in front of him.


"But .. You're not telling the truth. You're still lying to me..." Selena raised her head angrily.
