The girl was pensive for quite a while, while Bryan still continued to kneel before her while clasping his hands so tightly. He took a deep breath, then nodded slowly. He must agree to Bryan's request because he doesn't want Briza to be happy over her suffering.

“Alright, I agree to forgive you,” Laura said in the end.

Bryan's smile was perfect. Finally after days of persuading Laura, today the girl was willing to forgive herself. Bryan felt so happy, as if the burden on his shoulders had been lifted up so easily by God that he did not feel any burden anymore.

With a feeling of happiness Bryan kissed the back of Laura's hand. The man then stood up and immediately hugged Laura happily. He smiled full of haru, still can't believe that Laura would really forgive him. Bryan's mistake was too big and almost impossible to forgive by any woman he was in a relationship with. Bryan knew about it. He was so happy when Laura forgave him.

“Thank you, Laura. Thank you for forgiving me. I promise that I will not waste your trust this time,” Bryan said with a happy smile.

“I'm not done talking,” said Laura, making Bryan let go of his embrace.

The man frowned, then asked, “Are you still mad at me, Laura?”

Laura breathed. “I'll forgive you but you have to do the terms from me, Bryan.” The girl was silent for a moment, waiting for a reaction from Bryan. When it was felt Bryan wanted him to continue his sentence, he then re-opened his voice, “I want you to be more open to me. Nothing you hide from me anymore.”

“Good, I'll do it,” Bryan said quickly.

“I also don't want you to see Briza. I want you to keep your distance from him. If you guys accidentally meet at business events, I don't care. But, I don't want you guys to meet in person if I don't come with you,” Laura said.

Hearing this, Bryan did not immediately reply. The man remained silent for quite a while. Bryan and Briza's friendship has been established for a dozen years. They had known each other and even had intercourse long before Bryan knew Laura. Of course those requirements sound very difficult for Bryan.

However, Laura did not care if Bryan considered her a possessive woman in their relationship. As a woman who has been lied to and not easily believed let alone forgive Bryan's mistakes, Laura must do something that can anticipate things that are not desirable.

“If you disagree, I—”

“I agree, Laura,” said Bryan quickly, cutting off Laura's remark.

“I promise I won't meet with Briza without you again, Laura,” Bryan said in the end. She was too scared to lose Laura. That was the time she lost Laura. He wouldn't be able to lose Laura for the umpteenth time.

Bryan and Laura continued their dinner while chatting occasionally. The awkward atmosphere that from a few days ago enveloped Laura's apartment turned into such a warm atmosphere. Apparently, if the two lovebirds get along, then the atmosphere around them turns to be more comfortable.

After dinner, they did not go to sleep. The couple sat down while leaning on the head of the bed. Their hands intertwined while Bryan clasped onto Laura's shoulders, pulling the girl into his arms.

“You know, I'm so happy because you finally want to forgive me,” Bryan said with a big smile.

“Really?” reply Laura. “I thought you'd give up because I didn't forgive you.”

Bryan shook his head quickly. “Where might I just give up, Laura? You know that I love you very much. I'm not just gonna give up.”

Laura chuckled small. “Alright, alright. I believe in you,” he said.

“Laura, believe me you are the first woman I love,” Bryan said.

“So, I was your first love?” reply Laura.

Bryan nodded his head. “Yes. Therefore I will prove that I am really serious to you. I would never be able to fall in love again if I lost you,” explains Bryan.

Laura smiled, her cheeks blushing as a result of Bryan's very sweet speech.

“Laura, I will show my seriousness by meeting your parents and asking for their blessing,” Bryan said.

Laura was surprised to hear that. The girl did not expect that Bryan was so serious that he wanted to do just that. However, when she recalled how her relationship with her parents was, Laura fell silent.
