How to Play Bryan

“Why are you quiet?” bryan asked as he rubbed Laura's hair. The man tucked Laura's hair behind his ear to see the girl's face more clearly.

Laura smiled, trying to hide the disappointment in her heart. The girl quietly took her breath, trying to act casual in front of Bryan. He didn't want the man to think he was hurt by Bryan's words. Laura did not want to look weak in front of Bryan.

“Ah, no. I'm just a little sleepy,” replied Laura origin.

“Yes already, you just sleep. I will accompany you,” Bryan said with a smile.

If Bryan had said that before he said that Laura couldn't have expected more from him, maybe Laura would have been happy. But, unfortunately, Laura is now immune to Bryan's sweet speech. He won't just melt away.

Laura got up to sit while covering her front body with a blanket.

“You don't have to accompany me. I'm used to doing everything myself,” Laura replied with a smile.

Bryan frowned. “What do you mean?” ask Bryan. I don't know why Bryan felt that Laura was kicking him out subtly. Not wanting to guess, the man then asked, “Do you intend to expel me?”

“Ah, no. Not so.” Laura shook her head with a smile. “But, indeed in this world there are bed friends who spend the night together?”

Laura's question confused Bryan instead of playing. Laura had never been in trouble with this. Bryan spent the night in Laura's apartment, and Laura also spent the night at Bryan's house. So where did that idea come from?

“Laura, why are you suddenly acting like this?” bryan asked confusedly. “We've spent the night together before and you don't mind it.”

“Because of that time I still do not understand about the relationship we will live. And because now I understand, I want us not to spend the night together,” Laura said firmly.

Laura just wants to face Bryan the way Bryan did. He will only assume that their relationship is only a bedmate, no more than that. However, Laura's attitude like this is actually not liked by Bryan. Although Bryan treats Laura like any of his other bedmates, Bryan still wants Laura to treat him like she did before.

“Why are you acting so weird like this, Laura?” 

“I'm acting weird? I'm just following the way you play, Bryan. You don't want this relationship more than bedmates, do you? So, I just treat you like how you want it,” explained Laura. Yes, Laura has decided to follow Bryan's game if at the end of the day his body always betrays itself to continue to enjoy Bryan's touch.

Bryan listened to Laura. The man got out of bed and put on his clothes. Irritatedly the man left Laura's apartment without saying anything to Laura. While Laura just kept quiet while staring at Bryan's departure.

Even so, he still felt disappointed when he was alone. The girl lay on her cold bed while hugging her own body. Unknowingly tears trickled down her cheeks along with her closed eyes. Shortly after, he began to fall asleep into a dreamland.

The next day, Laura went through the day as usual. Wake up, have breakfast, and go to work. He did not think about Bryan at all because he had convinced his heart not to have to think about it too deeply.

“Morning, Lola,” greet Laura when she just arrived at Secret Garden.

“Morning, Laura,” Reply Lola. “You look different today.”

Laura raised her eyebrows. “Really?”

“Ya.” Lola looked at Laura from head to toe with a smile. “You look fresher today.”

Laura chuckled while twitching her shoulders. “Entahlah. I'm tired of looking pathetic all the time so I decided to be more cheerful today,”.

Lola laughed. “This is the spirit I love,” said Lola. When he remembered something, the woman said, “Oh, yes. Earlier, Reyna was looking for you.”

“Then I will meet Reyna first, Lola,” Laura said, saying goodbye to Lola.

Laura then goes inside to meet Reyna who is currently taking a supply of flowers from the cooling machine. 

“Reyna, said Lola you were looking for me?” ask Laura.

Reyna nodded. “Tonight there is a movie I want to watch. I was supposed to be watching with Dario, but suddenly he said he couldn't watch because of business. Will you come with me tonight? I've bought tickets, baby if not used,” explained Reyna.

Without thinking twice Laura nodded in agreement. “OK. We will meet in the cinema directly,” said Laura.

Reyna pulled Laura into her arms. “Thank you, Laura. You really are my best friend,” said Reyna, leaving Laura giggling amusedly.
