Felix vs Bryan

The girl that afternoon was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief after Bryan got a call from his secretary if she had an impromptu meeting. In the past few days, Bryan had always stuck to her and did not want to leave Laura a second of— unless they were both working—and it was enough to make Laura feel short of breath.

Although Laura was indifferent to him, Bryan was always near Laura. The man even forced to stay with Laura because he wanted to keep trying to convince Laura if she and Briza had no relationship anymore.

It is true that they live under the same roof. But even so, their relationship is still growing. How not? Laura still finds it very difficult to accept Bryan's past with Briza. He still can not accept if Bryan and Briza since adolescence often sleep together. And it's very likely that Bryan will return to Briza again if she has grown tired of Laura.

“Laura, what are you doing alone here?” reprimand Felix who just came home and found Laura leaning her body in front of the apartment door.

“It's okay, Felix. I'm just a little tired, ” she replied.

“Where is Bryan? Usually he always sticks with you,” asked Felix again.

Laura breathed. “She has a sudden meeting.”

“Do not put on such a sour face. Soon he'll be home,” Felix taunted. “You have not met for a few hours like you have not met a dozen years with him.”

Felix knows that Bryan is now living with Laura. In the past few days she couldn't even talk to Laura because Bryan interrupted her every time he greeted Laura. Of course it makes Felix feel upset, but what can he do?

“Not it, Felix.” Laura stood up to stand up straight. “There's something I haven't told you yet.”

“What's up, Laura?”

“You remember when I told you about Briza, ‘kan?”

Felix nodded. “That girl is the girl you suspect has feelings for Bryan. What's wrong with him?”

“It turns out Briza and Bryan did have a relationship that was more than a friend. Bryan said, since they were teenagers they often slept together. Even until they were adults,” explained Laura then let out a long sigh.

“What?!” peekik Felix did not believe.

“Sttt, no need to shout,” scolds Laura while putting an index finger in front of her mouth. “That's why Bryan now lives with me. I still can't believe that she won't be back with Briza again and she wants to keep convincing me.”

Felix nodded his head, understanding what Laura meant. However, as a man who had and still loves Laura, Felix certainly did not accept that Laura was hurt by a man who was none other than Laura's current lover.

Laura chuckles amusedly. “Alright, Boss!” joking. “By the way, tonight come to my apartment for dinner. I'm tired of constantly having dinner in an awkward atmosphere. You know what I mean, don't you?”

Felix smiling. “Alright, later tonight I'll come.”

That night, Felix actually came to dinner together at Laura's apartment. Bryan who saw Felix had shown his fangs but he could not do much because Laura invited Felix to dinner with them.

‘Why did Laura take this guy to dinner here, anyway? Though I still want to try to persuade him,’ grumbled Bryan inwardly.

The presence of Felix between Bryan and Laura is indeed right to make the atmosphere no longer awkward. However, Bryan actually felt ignored by them because from earlier Laura and Felix chatted and ignored him. Only occasionally did they invite Bryan to chat.

Bryan felt there was something odd about Laura and Felix's closeness. He knows that Felix has feelings for Laura. However, their closeness looked as if they had known each other for many years. What's more, Felix is heard several times mentioning Laura's hometown.

“Felix, I want to ask you,” said Bryan, making Felix and Laura turn towards him.

“What do you want to ask?” reply Felix.

“Since when did you know Laura?” ask Bryan.

Laura cringing. “Didn't I ever tell you that Felix and I knew because our parents were also colleagues?”

Bryan took his breath. “Alright, I'll change my question. Since when did you start liking Laura, Felix?” the question, surprised Laura and Felix.

“You want a lie or honest answer?” reply Felix.

“What kind of question is that? Of course I want honest answers,” Bryan said.

“I've liked Laura since .. I don't know I remember. But, Laura and I have been almost married,” Felix said without fear.

“What?!”
