There was silence for a while after Laura said she couldn't accept Bryan as her lover. The girl did not seem to doubt what she said. However, it was Bryan who was doubtful of his sense of hearing. The man still could not believe what he had just heard.

"Sorry Bryan, I can't" Laura refused to keep her distance when Bryan wanted to touch her .
