Finally Fall in Love

The sound of an alarm roused Bryan from his sleep. The man groped the bedside nightstand and grabbed his phone and turned off his alarm. The man rubbed his eyes, then slowly opened them while yawning widely.

The man was surprised to find Laura currently sleeping in her arms. He did not know when and what caused it. Clearly, the barrier between them had disappeared and now Laura was sleeping while hugging her. It was most likely that Laura was unconscious while doing so.

‘If only you knew that I wanted to wake up every morning with a scene like this, Laura,’ Bryan muttered inwardly with a smile.

Out of fear Laura would wake up in shock and rage. Bryan decided to slowly let go of Laura's embrace. She did not want Laura to wake up and accuse her of taking the opportunity while the girl was sleeping when they were both hugging in their subconscious.

Bryan goes to the bathroom to clean up while Laura wakes up from a deep sleep.

The splashing sound of water from the direction of the bathroom made Laura slowly open her eyes. The girl stretched out her hands to relax her stiff muscles, then got up to sit. Realizing that Bryan was no longer on the other side of the bed, Laura immediately concluded that Bryan was bathing.

“Can I believe that you're not messing with me anymore, Bryan?” murmured Laura. The girl sat down pensively, thinking about everything that had happened to her and Bryan. Laura is eager to trust Bryan, but it feels very difficult to remember from the beginning Bryan has also warned so that Laura can accept his playboy nature.

‘Can someone change in a short time just from meeting by someone he can't forget?’

That's what Laura's been asking lately as Bryan begins to approach her again. Laura sighed, choosing to get out of bed and take a look around Bryan's room filled with award trophies and photographs of Bryan as a child through adolescence.

“Laura, are you awake?”

The question made Laura flinch and turn towards Bryan. He swallowed his saliva as he watched Bryan come out of the bathroom with just a piece of towel covering the lower part of his body.

“Yes. I have to work,” Laura replied.

“Go take a shower first. I've asked my assistant to buy you a change of clothes. I will wait for you below,” Bryan said.

Laura nodded her head, then went to the bathroom. Thirty minutes later, the girl was ready to wear the clothes Bryan had bought.

When Laura came down, Bryan and Bryan's parents had breakfast together. Laura joined them. After breakfast, Bryan drove her to work.

“Ma, Pa, me and Laura say goodbye first. I have to take Laura to work,” said Bryan.

“Where do you work, Laura?” ask Deborah. “Sorry, last night I drank too much wine so I kind of forgot about our conversation.”

“I work at a florist's shop, Secret Garden,” Laura replied honestly, deliberately wanting to know how Bryan's parents responded.

“Let me guess ... You and Bryan met first because Bryan ordered flowers from Secret Garden?” timpal Fabio's.

Laura nodded. “True. Do you guys not mind that Bryan has a lover who works at the flower shop?” ask Laura. That question was also what Bryan wanted to ask his parents to remember how his life and Laura were so different.

Deborah and Fabio looked at each other.

“Of course we don't mind, Laura. Whatever type of job it is not important. Because the most important thing is hard work,” replied Fabio.

Upon arrival at the flower shop, while still in the car Bryan was about to kiss Laura but Laura avoided.

“Sorry, Bryan. I'm not ready to receive you anymore.” That's what Laura said. He could not force his heart if he himself felt unprepared.

Bryan nodded his head. “I understand, Laura. Its alright. Maybe now is not the time,” he said with a faint smile.

“You ... not angry?” laura asked confused.

Bryan used to use all persuasions so that Laura would make love to him. But, now the man could accept the rejection from Laura. This is something new for Laura considering how Bryan behaved some time ago.

“Yes. What am I angry for?” Bryan grabbed Laura's hand, then grabbed it and kissed the back of the hand. “Laura, although you are not currently ready to start a relationship with me, I have no problem. I'll keep trying to convince you that I'm really serious with you.”

“Why did you suddenly change your mind, Bryan?” ask Laura. This is too confusing for the girl.

“The days after you and I separated, I could not get you out of my mind at all. I'm trying to forget you, of course. But, I can't. That's when I realized that for the first time ... I'm finally in love,” explains Bryan.

Laura held her breath. Surprised by Bryan's explanation. He still can't believe that a playboy like Bryan can fall in love and that's with him.

If Bryan had been aware of his feelings and had not been selfish from the start, they might have been happy lovers. However, Bryan was too late to realize it all.

Laura took her hand out of Bryan's. “I have to work now, Bryan,” he said.

Bryan nodded his head. The man got out of the car and opened the door for Laura. Not to forget he also took Laura into the Secret Garden even though Laura was not willing to do it at first.

“Let me take you in. After this I'll go to work.”

That's what Bryan said that made Laura finally resigned and wanted to be joined by Bryan.

“Good morning, Lola,” greet Laura.

Lola who was initially busy with her flower orders turned her head. The look in his eyes instantly fell on the interlocked hands of Laura and Bryan. Noticing that, Laura let go of Bryan's hand.

“Sorry, Laura is late today. Last night I asked her to meet my parents and my parents asked Laura to stay the night,” Bryan said, apologizing for Laura.

Lola looked at Laura and Bryan with a peeking look. The woman also smiled suspiciously at the two lovebirds.

“Have you guys reversed?” ask Lola.

“Sorry, I have to work.” The misbehaved Laura said so then went straight inside, leaving behind Lola and Bryan.

“You just pray for us, Lola. Chasing Laura is a bit difficult but I believe that I will be able to conquer her heart,” Bryan replied while blinking one eye.
