Moon Gi Tae POVs.

Tired of being so visible on the faces of the princesses who were sound asleep. I can't deny it, we're all human.

But one of them is still awake. I saw Ji-hyeon sitting pensively alone on a large log in front of the fireplace, her face so sad. I wanted to go up to him and break the silence.

"It looks like winter is almost here... The air was so piercing." I muttered towards Ji-hyeon by rubbing both my hands on each arm, in order to create a slight warm feeling.

"Why are you still awake?" ji-hyeon asks in such a soft voice. He was not surprised by my arrival, it seemed like he also knew that I was still awake.

"That should be what I'm asking you.. Does anything bother your mind?"

It was clear that his mind was being disturbed by Gi Tae! why still ask.

Well, maybe I'm a little bad at making small talk, but at least I tried.

Ji-hyeon just smiles a little at my face.

"Are you sure the courtiers should not know about this?" I asked him again, hoping he would change his mind.

"No Gi Tae. No one should know this except us. If they know, then a big mess will happen, so we have to settle this together without involving any palace" he explained with a worried face.

After we waited long enough, not a single figure came out from behind the bush, and we decided to check it out.

But suddenly, the head of an enormous snake monster came out from behind a bush and hissed loudly before me. His mouth that was wide open with a forked tongue that stuck out, shocked me and fell backwards.

"YESHH!!!"

Ji-hyeon who saw this suddenly screamed screeching until she woke up all the humans in the tent.

I retreated with the help of my buttocks and my two feet stuck to the ground, while gulping my own saliva in panic.

This snake monster looks creepy, with eyes that light up green on the head that is so big and looks like a king cobra. Steel-like leather with a large, elongated body.

"Damn!!" I cursed him with fear and panic.

"Gi Tae's! get out of there!" shouted one of the princesses. I couldn't focus myself, it seemed like it was Chaeyun's voice, I don't know.

And right now, this snake monster is standing before me. Ready to eat me anytime.

When he opened his mouth wide to prey on me, I just covered my body with my arms.

Fear is no longer a word that can describe my feelings. My life seemed to drift as the mouth of the monster felt right before me.

Is this the end of my life?

As soon as I prepared to be eaten, I felt nothing. Then I realized, Sazhawa had taken me with her. He teleported towards me and moved into our horde with a quick time.

"Are you stupid! can't you save yourself?!" snapped Sazhawa after saving me.

I did not rub it and refocused my attention on the snake monster earlier.

But I can't believe what I'm seeing. Hyujin, the person I had been dislikeing all this time, was where I was before and was resisting the monster's attack with her magic. He formed a magic dome with both hands.

So, Sazhawa and Hyujin saved me...

As I was about to run towards Hyujin, Mizhawa pulled my arm. He certainly knows what I'm thinking.

"Don't go there! you will not be saved a second time!" his orders with an eye expression I rarely see.

But I can't just let Hyujin, I have to help her.

I shook Mizhawa's hand and ran to attack the Snake Monster.

"GI TAE!" I heard them call me hysterical.

After arriving before the snake monster, I gathered my energy and this felt different from my previous black magic energy.

But how do we conquer it? is my magic capable of doing it?

I re-centered my energy and gathered it on both of my arms. From the palm of the hand are seen two wisps of blue light that rotate to form a bright blue ball.

I pointed both my hands at the snake monster to attack it.

The energy hit his body, but the snake monster just budged in its place.

My energy did not give any reaction...

"We better get out of here!" mozhawa caught our attention.
