16. The Shadow Caught

During his time in Hira, Gi Tae tries hard not to cross paths with Mizhawa. He was worried that later he would accidentally think of something about her, especially about the curse that he brought. And as for her luck, it seems that Mizhawa is also trying to avoid Gi Tae since their previous meeting.

Gi Tae does not know the reason Mizhawa often avoids or takes other paths when they will cross paths, maybe because of Mizhawa's hatred of Gi Tae or if there are other things that he should not show. Gi Tae is grateful for whatever that reason is.

However, it was not long before his return to Sun Gu, Gi Tae and his entourage included Jang Na Yeong, Yang Jeong Ra, Zhao Chu Yi, Cho Ji-hyeon, Kang Dayeon, and many others, and Sun Chaeyun had to face the three daughters of Hira to say goodbye.

All are gathered in the palace courtyard, the three princesses Hira facing each other with the group of Gi Tae who are preparing to travel back to their respective kingdoms or to just fulfill a mission.

When Ji-hyeon as a representative was saying goodbye to Mozhawa, Gi Tae accidentally looked Mizhawa in the eyes as well as Mizhawa, he felt a strong spotlight staring at him. He turned his gaze to Gi Tae.

The next unexpected thing happened, Mizhawa raised a voice that shocked the entire page.

"You! You are the bearer of the curse!" Mizhawa with her horror face was shocked by what she had discovered from Gi Tae's mind. He pointed at her with a full of hate wrapped in fear. He was scared because of what he had seen in his mind, and he hated it because Gi Tae was the one.

For a moment, all fell silent after hearing Mizhawa mention about the curse. And after they came to their senses with the intent of Mizhawa's words, they immediately looked at Gi Tae who had a shocked face.

Gi Tae who stands at the very back of Ji-hyeon's entourage is aware of her reckless actions. He looked back with fear at all the eyes that were on him.

The bright atmosphere of Hira's palace courtyard suddenly turned precarious and gripping.

With the confusion still on the faces of each princess, Gi Tae tries to calm them down with his explanation.

"De-listen to me first!" stammeredly, Gi Tae tried to muster all his courage.

Gi Tae is facing the princesses with their faces hard to read and surrounded by Hira warriors on standby. Gi Tae no longer knew what to do with his position.

"It's not what you think!" Gi Tae tries to deny Mizhawa.

"What are we thinking, Gi Sung?" Cho Ji-hyeon approaches slowly to where Gi Tae is standing with her expression that seems to have known something she should not have known.

"I-I'm going to explain" Gi Tae had not yet had time to continue his sentence, Sazhawa had already cut it off first.

"Even he had lied about his name! he is Moon Gi Tae! the one who was born with the curse!" Mizha approached Gi Tae with a growl and a sharp look. "He's the guy. Who was destined to open the path of destruction! I know this, destruction right in front of us!" he added with a stop right in front of Gi Tae.

Gi Tae's breathing is difficult to control, his chest is seen going up and down with his emotions and confusion.

"Mizhawa, stop this! I know you hate me, but you shouldn't have done this to me!" his emotions are hard for him to control right now. Gi Tae returned Mizhawa's furious gaze with a stifled rage.

The soldiers surrounding them with spear guns and shields stepped forward, pointing their spears at Gi Tae's body in unison as a warning against him committing any reckless acts to Mizhawa.

Sazhawa, who was still hesitant about Mizhawa's words, could not bear to see Gi Tae who looked more confused and afraid because he was surrounded by armed soldiers.

"Stop Mizha! did you not see it? he himself did not know what was happening! so stop that senseless hatred of yours!" sazhawa's high tone attracted the attention of the other princesses.

They are on the verge of confusion. When Mizhawa said that she must have heard and seen what was in Gi Tae's head. But when they heard Sazhawa, they also doubted Mizha's confession. Because look again, among them only Mizhawa who has the greatest hatred towards Gi Tae.

Mizhawa who was currently turning her back on Gi Tae to face Sazha, could not help but chuckle from her mouth. He considers Sazhawa to be a silly person who cannot understand the difference between hatred and confession.

"Sazhawa, isn't this funny? Is your liking for this liar so great that you can deny the facts?" mizhawa's reply which sounded heartless made Sazha speechless and looked at her with an unexpected expression.

"Are you going to keep this up? do everything you want? even for people who never hurt you?" sazhawa could already guess. Mizhawa did this only to channel her hatred before Gi Tae's departure.

"Stop your bullshit Sazhawa!" mizhawa's emotions were not helped, she was at the peak of her anger "open your eyes! he is the end of our destruction! he will tear down Daegun and the seven kingdoms, he will be the reason of our death!" he stared at Sazhawa wide.

"All of you, summarily this liar!" Mizhawa turned his gaze to the soldiers and ordered them to capture Gi Tae.

Gi Tae has no more alibis to stop them, with a terrified expression on his innocent face that he begs the soldier to let go of him.

Ji-hyeon and the others are also upset in the atmosphere. Ji-hyeon's plan to find out what Gi Tae is hiding is in vain. At first he wanted to hear the real explanation from Gi Tae himself. But Mizhawa and Sazhawa were present in his view and spoiled the original plan.

Ji-hyeon can't do anything to stop Mizhawa's orders at Hira's palace. Finally he turned his gaze to Mozhawa who had seemed to be in disbelief at what was happening. He beckoned Mozhawa to take action before it was too late.

Mozhawa is seen understanding by the gesture given by Ji-hyeon through her gaze and nods her head.

"Wait a minute!" mozhawa's order suddenly, made all eyes on her.

Gi Tae looks at him with teary eyes, assuming that Mozhawa is the savior angel who will help him from this problem.

He knew clearly that Mizhawa was not wrong with his words. He knows he's the man he deserves to be hunted down and overpowered. He just felt the need to do something to save his life. This time he had no intention of lying anymore. He'll say everything.

"I am the crown princess of the kingdom of Hira, so let me punish her myself!"

Mozhawa's words instantly broke Gi Tae's heart.
