14. The Cursed Nation
Meanwhile in the special meeting room of Hira's palace, the royal princesses of Daegun state had not finished discussing something related to Daegun's future.
The atmosphere of the meeting room is not too gripping, but the tension can be felt by every soul who attended it.
In a room wide enough with only a few luxurious wooden chairs and a large round table, Ji-hyeon sits at the middle end as the discussion leader, as she is the leader of the princesses for the time being.
Not many know, that Daegun is currently in the year that the princess of the kingdom bore the collapse of the Daegun state.
3000 Centuries ago, the master of black magic had cast a curse upon the rulers of the seven kingdoms.
As the tense atmosphere was enveloping the special meeting room, Jeong Ra and Chu Yi came over to convey something.
But sometimes things can't go with what has been planned.
"I'm sorry we came late, we got something" Jeong Ra said just after entering the room.
Jeong Ra and Chu Yi slightly bowed to give their greetings, then walked over to the meeting table.
"It's not too late, we haven't found a bright spot until this second" said Ji-hyeon, who looks deadlocked.
"What's going on, why are you so tangled and confused?" chu Yi asked in astonishment while taking a seat beside Dayeon who was next to Chaeyun "and where is Mizhawa?" added Chu Yi curious as to what happened.
Looking at the situation, it made Chu Yi and Jeong Ra forget what they wanted to say.
It does not cover the fact that currently Ji-hyeon, Dayeon, Chaeyun, and Mozhawa look so stressed, in contrast to Sazhawa who always with his optimistic face.
"We don't need to think about it, the emotions haven't subsided since this morning" Mozhawa replied with a face of frustration.
"No wonder, huh..." Jeong Ra who took a seat next to Sazhawa chuckled lightly by leaning his body against the back of the chair to relax his fatigue.
"Come on, we don't need to be this serious, you make me want to rest" said Chaeyun, who sat opposite Mozhawa by relaxing her body amid the tension.
"Wow..., don't we all bear the consequences of the riots of 3,000 years ago?" jeong Ra raised one of his eyebrows.
Unexpectedly, such a small speech had a huge impact on the princesses. Tension further increased after Chaeyun raised her tone.
"What do you want to say? Do you want to say that this was all caused by me? by Sun Gu kingdom?" chaeyun's forehead and eyebrows wrinkles revealed a sense of inadmissibility.
"Why are you angry? isn't that what happened?" Jeong Ra nonchalantly expressed his opinion.
"You two please stop!" Ji-hyeon is unable to hear their argument any further and raises the voice to stop Chaeyun and Jeong Ra.
Tired breathing can be heard from each participant of the meeting.
"I'm just talking about facts!" Jeong Ra does not want to lose and denies Ji-hyeon's orders.
Burning eyes can be seen on Chaeyun. He really did not accept Jeong Ra's insults.
Before the matter went too far, Mozhawa spoke up.
"Enough Jeong, we're here to discuss not to debate past problems!" calmly and firmly, Mozhawa who was next to Sazhawa helped calm the atmosphere.
"If you really feel this is just Sun Gu's fault, you have the right not to participate in this discussion!" Chaeyun stood up and vaporized her emotions.
Jeong Ra who did not want to lose stood up and became increasingly emotional.
"If it wasn't for Sun Gu's greed, then none of this would have happened! the curse given by the Black Magic Sovereign will not be felt by us either! only Sun Gu! and only Sun Gu!" Jeong Ra vented all his frustration all this time.
"So you said that this was Sun Gu's fault? Where were you when Sun Gu needed help?" Chaeyun stared one by one the princesses "where were the other six kingdoms when empress Sun Gu was kidnapped and killed by them?! Not only that, you are breaking the covenant! it was you who let Sun Gu suffer and were ostracized far from the other six kingdoms!" tears of anger slowly trickled down Chaeyun's red eyes.
"Chaeyun please stop.." pinta Sazhawa by crying, she can't if she sees someone crying, she'll feel it.
"You're asking me to stop?" Chaeyun clenched her jaw and stared bitterly at Sazhawa "Hira. You can do what you like, even you consider Sun Gu's territory also yours to easily explore it. You have special authority granted by the founder of Daegun. But where? where were you when Sun Gu asked for help? You all close your eyes!" he added pointing at all the princesses with tears continuously dripping but without crying.
"Chaeyun stop, we can discuss this carefully!" Dayeon pleads to calm Chaeyun by holding her right hand, she cannot see her best friend getting hurt.
Chaeyun's gaze turned to Dayeon who was to her right, she wiped the tears that were constantly drenching her cheeks.
"I know you're hurt, Jeong Ra actually didn't intend to go that far" Dayeon stood up and hugged him "we all care about each other, we all trust each other and look after each other. Always remember that!" he added while rubbing Chaeyun's head to calm her down.
A cry broke out as Chaeyun felt the sincerity from her best friend's embrace.
Jeong Ra felt guilty and lowered his head awkwardly, he again realized that all this was not just Sun Gu's fault, only his ego sometimes could not control.
"Discussion until here first, we'll continue next time" Ji-hyeon gives an announcement and rushes out of the room. He did not want to linger in the eternal.
As the leader of the princesses of the seven kingdoms, Ji-hyeon has the greatest responsibility. As is known, even though they look fine from the outside, actually some of them can not control emotions and ego and it can certainly cause contradictions between them.
For the sake of Daegun's survival, he sometimes had to take unexpected steps to be able to protect his country.

Gi Tae felt very tired, considering that he could not sleep all night and this afternoon he was still in the market following the direction Na Yeong's feet stepped, not at all resting.
Gi Tae should have just come with Chu Yi and Jeong Ra to Hira's palace first, unfortunately Na Yeong did not allow him to go follow them. Na Yeong argues that Gi Tae still has a responsibility to fulfill his debt.
"Na Yeong. I'm tired, let's just go back" whined Gi Tae who could not stand his fatigue.
"Na Yeong? don't you see I'm Sazha?" Sazhawa turned around to look at Gi Tae
Gi Tae was surprised, the previous one who walked in front of him was Na Yeong, and now the one before him was Sazhawa.
"Well, Sazha? how did you get to be here? where's Na Yeong?" Gi Tae was confused and looked around, just in case Na Yeong walked first.
The bustling environment made it difficult for her to find Na Yeong among the passersby.
"I thought you were stupid! ckck!" sazhawa said playfully. That expression was not his, Gi Tae thought to himself.
"Oh, Na Yeong.. Is that you?" Gi Tae asked by raising one of his eyebrows. He understood that Na Yeong was currently making a classic joke by turning herself into Sazhawa.
Not long after that Sazha changed back to Na Yeong slowly. Gi Tae looks at the process and is amazed by the power of camouflage magic.
There was no shortage in the changes that Na Yeong had made. While being a Sazhawa, he could actually sneer at her, even her voice was exactly the same, but for such behavior it was unable to keep up while being camouflaged.
"You're really unexpected, Na Yeong" Gi Tae raised the tip of his lips and smiled. He felt that this one princess had a different uniqueness from the others. Gi Tae always felt overwhelmed by everything he did, of course, except when they were arguing.
"Why? am I getting pretty, my good-looking?" Na Yeong smiled faintly and winked his right eye to tease her.
Gi Tae smiled broadly by showing his teeth, he felt that Na Yeong was a foolish princess. Then they continued their journey.
"Ohya, I'd like to ask you a few things, of course if you don't mind?" Gi Tae looked at Na Yeong who was walking next to him.
He was still troubled by what had happened with the princesses and wanted to know how they really were.
"If I can answer it, I will answer" Na Yeong said with a small smile.
"What happened to Mizhawa? why is he like that to me?" Gi Tae doesn't really want to sound like he has a small heart, but clearly Mizhawa's behavior towards him makes him think that he shouldn't be close to them.
"Hmmm.... He was like that, but he was actually a good person. He always put the safety of his brothers and friends first" Na Yeong replied, still staring at the street in front of him.
"really? did he do that to me because he felt I was a threat to you?" Gi Tae again asked by staring in astonishment at Na Yeong.
"Maybe, but don't worry. She was indeed like that to new people" Na Yeong ended his reply with a sweet smile.
"Alright, thank you for saying it" said Gi Tae as he looked back to the front.
"Oh, I almost forgot!" Na Yeong again attracted Gi Tae's attention "you don't think about anything in front of him, he can know the thoughts of others" he added seriously.
"I'll remember" Gi Tae said confidently.
This was one of the important information he got. So he must not think about how his life in front of Mizhawa, his magic ability is certainly not playing. He can know whatever other people are thinking.
No wonder Mizhawa attacked Gi Tae this morning, because when Gi Tae was thinking about the enormity of Mozhawa's beauty, he even thought of something he shouldn't have thought of.
"Aish!!" Gi Tae shook his head considering how stupid he was.
"Why?" asked Na Yeong curiously.
"No. It's nothing" he replied awkwardly.
I hope he gets through this without any problems.
