17. The Story Revealed

Gi Tae sits languidly leaning his body against the prison wall. His hopes for Mozhawa soon disappeared with him taking him to the palace prison of Hira. There was nothing he could hope for anymore, even Sazhawa must have been gravely disappointed with him.

Will it end like this? has his life not ended since he was born?

No one can understand his feelings. Why live longer if all his escape and hiding is in vain. Even the curse that was with him grew longer and longer. It looked like not only was his life chaotic, but his soul had also forgotten who he was.

When Gi Tae was bowed bitterly to see his fate. A strange black fog sprung up from around his body. It looks like negative energy is circling its owner.

Gi Tae continues to regret his increasingly life. The negative energy continued to increase along with the sadness he felt inside the cell. Without him noticing, he slowly overpowered the black fog that surrounded him.

"Rise up my son"

A large voice full of orders rang out echoing in Gi Tae's ears.

Gi Tae who did not know where the voice came from immediately felt goosebumps. It was not the fear he felt, but the voice could really thrill anyone who could hear it.

Gi Tae continues to search for the source of the sound from the prisoner's ceiling. Curious about what he had heard. He stood up and continued to spin around looking for who the owner of the soul-shaking voice was.

"Who are you! show yourself!" Gi Tae ventured to voice the formless still while staring at the ceiling of the prison.

The guard soldiers guarding the holding room were astonished to see Gi Tae's behavior, but did not have the right to talk to the prisoners. So he just let Gi Tae's weird behavior go.

"I am you. The soul that I immerse in you is mine" said a formless voice that further confused Gi Tae.

"This is mine, my body and soul are entirely mine. Who are you really?" curiosity could not be contained, Gi Tae decided to ask again.

"It is time for you to rise.The darkness will return and you are the key to welcoming it. Prepare yourself!" the voice reappeared and disturbed Gi Tae's mind.

The echoing sound felt so strong that Gi Tae had to cover his ears tightly. Not knowing what happened to her, she just kept moaning asking for the voice without the form to stop. It was like something was running through his body. Something with a very strong dark energy.

"Stop! I don't want to hear you! please stop!" he closed his eyes and covered his ears. Can't stand the echoes of that too strong sound.

"You must rise! it is time we reclaim what should be our destiny...! raise my son!" the big voice continued to rule Gi Tae who could not stand him anymore.

Two guards saw Gi Tae in trouble and covered his ears. One of them approached and asked her how she was.

"Hey! what's going on?" the unnamed guard looks quite worried about Gi Tae's state.

"Please help me! there's a terrible sound here! get me out of here please!" Gi Tae immediately approached and pleaded like someone who had just seen a demon.

"You don't act! we won't let you go just because of your lies anymore!" said the only guard standing not far from the holding cell. He thinks Gi Tae is just pretending to get out of prison.

The guard right in front of Gi Tae's detention cell seems to believe what Gi Tae said, because he saw Gi Tae's current face really showed fear. His eyes were red and his face was pale, like someone who desperately needed help.

"You wait here, I'll call princess Mozhawa" the officer who felt sorry for Gi Tae told his friend to keep watch while he met Mozhawa.

"Do you believe his lies? ckckck.." fellow guards just clucked in disbelief with what he saw.

Gi Tae just sat down and covered his ears, like a voice without form came back to him.

Sure enough, the beacon came back. This time, however, it was stronger and more powerful.

"RISE MY SON! IT'S TIME!"

"Aar!!!" Gi Tae couldn't stand it and just yelled continuously "STOP!! PLEASE STOP!" groan with all his might.

"RISE!!"

The voice was continuously spinning and echoing nonstop.

Fellow guards who are afraid to see the behavior of Gi Tae who is becoming more. He then approaches her because he can't stand Gi Tae's lies.

"Hey! just stop! I won't let you go just because of your trickery!" he nodded at her with emotion.

Gi Tae who was enveloped in black energy slowly looked at him with eyes so red. A pale face now changed with the color of his eyes. He looked at the guard with anger.

Guards who saw this felt creepy. Gi Tae's gaze felt filled with resentment and hatred.

"He-hey! y-you!" the guard stammered as he was about to ask Gi Tae who had been possessed by another energy.

Gi Tae clenched his jaw and stared furiously at the guard. As Gi Tae was about to attack him, the guard ran away in fear and shouted for help.

All the princesses and a few other soldiers immediately ran towards the prisoner where Gi Tae was after hearing the report given by the guards.

Think of the princesses of the seven kingdoms in turmoil, they hope that the shadow of destruction they had been afraid of did not happen today.

Before reports from the prison guards could be heard, they were discussing about the steps they were taking to address Moon Gi Tae. But the unexpected actually disrupts and ruins the plan. Make them focus more on Gi Tae's situation.

But when they arrive at the prison, they look so shocked to see Gi Tae is no longer in it.

"He has escaped!" jeong Ra draws his conclusions. His anger can be felt by others.

"We must find and punish him!" added Chu Yi who tightened the sword that was in her grasp.

Mizhawa who saw this immediately decided to leave without the knowledge of the other princess. He sneaked out of the palace to look for someone.

The other princesses just stared blankly into the prison that is now without occupants.
