23. Antidote

Previously in the forest where Gi Tae and Hira's two daughters were...

The monstrous monster chasing after Gi Tae and Hira's two daughters gets closer while letting out a howl that leaves the body goosebumps. Until he arrived in front of Gi Tae who stood at the front.

The three humans who did not know how, faced each other with a red-eyed monster who was ready to pounce on them at any time.

"Yyahoooooooo!!!"

Just as the monstrous monster was about to pounce on Gi Tae with his ferocity, Mizhawa took a step first. Mizha flew and clenched her fingers towards the monster head that was five times the size of her body and shrieked loudly.

"Wushhhh...!!!"

Not until Mizhawa's attack landed on the monster's head did the monster swing its hand forcefully over Mizhawa's body until it slammed onto the ground making him scream in pain.

"Mizha!!" Gi Tae and Sazhawa called his name in surprise and ran over to his injured body.

"Mizha.. You're hurt!" sazhawa said with great concern for her sister's circumstances.

"I'm not ap-ukhukk!!!" yet Mizhawa continued, so she coughed bloodily from her lips making the other two more worried. Mizhawa looked so in pain.

Mizhawa is still able to stand with great difficulty through the help of Sazhawa and Gi Tae.

"We need to get him away!" prune Gi Tae to distract Sazhawa.

"B-but how?!" asked Sazhawa who was getting confused.

While the monstrous monsters again approached them by walking slowly. Echoes from his footsteps can shake the ground and give a gripping atmosphere around him.

"Use your magic!" gi Tae's orders without thinking.

"Are you crazy or deaf?! I told you my magic can't be summoned when my energy is thin!" he was also caught in the mood.

Gi Tae could not think clearly at the moment, whereas the monster had stood before them. Gi Tae took a step forward facing the monster who gave that deadly look.

Gi Tae's body feels an urgency to survive and protect the two daughters behind him who are in a state of turmoil.

A bluish smoke began to appear on both of his arms. Circling around each of Gi Tae's arms quickly. It seemed like moments like this could reawaken his power.

Gi Tae who felt the foreign energy that had previously appeared was now starting to get familiar with him. He tried hard to concentrate that power on both of his arms.

The moment the monster jumped high and was about to pounce on Gi Tae who had been standing before him. Gi Tae immediately directed his arms towards the monster's flight and screeched.

"Yahoooooooo!!!"

The loud, masculine voice of Gi Tae can be heard echoing where they are clashing.

"Aaaauurrrrnngghhh....!!!"

A bright blue light shot out from both of his palms and struck right in the stomach of the monster. Made him bounce and let out a horrible groan. He was in real pain at the moment.

Mizhawa and Sazhawa who saw this were surprised instead of playing. They had never witnessed someone unleashing such a powerful force with such a bright blue color. What magic power is that, they thought. How could Gi Tae have such great power.

Not enough to get there, Gi Tae continuously let out painful-sounding screams even though the monster had been conquered.

"Whyaaarggh!!! Arghhhhhhh...!!!"

Gi Tae groaned so hard, his body could not accept the power of the blue energy he was currently in. He knelt in pain with his head turned up to the sky. Both of his eyes let out a bright blue light soaring that it made the surroundings become brightly lit.

The wind around them roared until the dry leaves lifted and flew with the glass.

The wind was so strong that the two princesses of Hira occasionally covered their eyes and faces as it was very difficult for them to focus their eyes. The confused Mizhawa and Sazhawa do not know what to do. They only witnessed this strangeness with worried eyes and faces.

Mizhawa was unable to yell at him, she just held onto his chest which felt so painful from the monster's impact.

Gi Tae continued to groan until finally after a while, slowly his strength ran out and the light in his eyes began to fade, as well as the roar of wind and blue smoke surrounding his body.

Mizhawa releases Sazhawa's arm, which helps her to stand up and tells her to approach Gi Tae's limp body.

Sazhawa immediately fell down beside Gi Tae and held him back from falling to the ground.

"We have to get her out of here!" sazhawa said with worry.

Mizhawa nodded in agreement. Sazha helps Gi Tae to stand up with difficulty.

"Wait a minute...!" there was the sound of a monstrous monster figure holding back their departure by trying to get up from where they had bounced.

He walked closer towards them staggered.

"I knew from the very beginning of your arrival that he was the one who could heal the curse that was upon me. argh.." with great difficulty he managed to say the thing he wanted to say "please let this young man help me. I don't want to live like this either, I want to go back to my life as it was before." she added with a stingy breath.

Sazhawa and Mizhawa exchanged glances, it seemed like they had the same thought.

And since only Sazhawa was unharmed, it was he who gave the answer to the vicious monster that was currently weakening.

"What is the guarantee that you're not lying to us?" sazhawa asked still unsure of the monster that was about to pounce on them.

"If this curse that is on me is gone, then I will become a slave and devote my whole life to you, especially the 'Blessing Curse'." he said while kneeling begging.

After pondering for quite a while, Sazhawa finally decided to give the monster a chance and bring Gi Tae closer to him who was kneeling low. After all if they rejected it, it was feared that the monster would change its mind and pounce back at them.

On the other hand, Sazhawa also wanted to prove the prophecy. So this is their perfect opportunity to witness for themselves that Gi Tae is the antidote to the curse.

Gi Tae is still drowning, his consciousness is only the boundary between dreams and reality.

Mizhawa came closer, still enduring the pain.

Sazhawa put Gi Tae's body to sleep on the ground and placed the head on his lap as a cushion, to allow the monster's figure to perform its rituals.

The wolf-headed monster crawled closer to Gi Tae's body lying on the ground and brought his snout closer to Gi Tae's lips.

"What are you doing?!" asked Sazhawa who was shocked by the actions of the monster. He thought that the monstrous monster would devour Gi Tae.

"You don't know? this is the way to break the curse! he's got to kiss me...!" replied the monster with a head shake, feeling strange with the girl who looks like royalty but knows nothing.

"really? I heard about the curse of blessing, but did not know how it worked." she replied rather hesitantly. Sazhawa thought that this was ridiculous, how could the curse be freed by a kiss. And that means Gi Tae has been kissing people's lips all along. I don't know why this upset him.

Mizhawa listened to the conversation of the two of them. Even though he knew this had happened in Gi Tae's life, it remained that he also felt a little strange knowing this fact.

After the monstrous monster managed to peek at Gi Tae, his body slowly let out a clumping black smoke and twisted around him, slowly, causing the wind and leaves around them to fly so that the two daughters of Hira could not see his large body at this time.

After a while, the wisps of black smoke slowly dimmed and were replaced with a figure of a fairly stocky youth and had a beautiful look that was resting before them.
