Chu Kai was startled when suddenly the cave door was closed from the outside with a huge boulder. At the same time, he began to see light emerging from the small rocks attached to the ceiling of the cave. The atmosphere became quite bright, yet somehow Chu Kai felt completely unsettled.
He should be in this place and that along with Xia Ling Qing. Chu Kai gulped a few times and tried not to be anxious, but his facial expression paled as he remembered that the emotions of the subject beside him were being unstable.
Chu Kai pursed his lips, he knew that if he started the conversation with Xia Ling Qing, then it was possible that this girl would instantly pull the sword and stab her in the neck. He did like this girl, but he still loved his own life much more.
Xia Ling Qing stood there with a cold expression before he stared towards Chu Kai. The green-eyed young man became tense as if he felt an extremely dangerous gaze.
Without warning, Xia Ling Qing actually drew his sword and unsheathed it. The blade stopped as it touched the skin of Chu Kai's neck. He also started to open his voice.
Her tone was cold as Xia Ling Qing said, "I'll do closed-door training so don't dare to bother me."
!!
Chu Kai did not move in his place. He even subconsciously held his breath and only regained his senses when Xia Ling Qing sheathed his sword back and then walked away. The girl entered one of the cave passageways and left Chu Kai who was still frozen in shock.
"That girl is really rude," Wei Shezi's voice sounded and Chu Kai began to be able to take a breath.
"God... I thought I was going to die," Chu Kai gulped. A pale expression was still visible on his face.
"Is that the girl you like?" Wei Shezi said, "Honestly, I don't like her personality. She did not have a meek nature like a girl in general. It was a pity, when her face was so beautiful."
Chu Kai rubbed his neck which was almost beheaded. He responded to Wei Shezi's remark and said, "You might not like Miss Xia's personality. But I like it,"
"Hmph, that's why I feel you have an 'M' tendency'." Wei Shezi sighed and said, "Alright. Now you're locked up and have no choice but to practice. So let's find a place,"
Chu Kai started walking until he occasionally noticed his surroundings. This cave was quite spacious with several passageways and there was a warm feel felt by Chu Kai.
"It..... Qi?" Chu Kai muttered.
His current level of practice was at the Li [ ⁇ ] stage and meant that he had the ability to sense Qi. It was just like before, Chu Kai was a little special because not only was he able to sense Qi-he was able to see the color of that Qi when it came into contact with his skin.
Chu Kai passed through a passageway and entered a room. He saw Xia Ling Qing sitting cross-legged on a large-sized rock. The girl seemed focused on meditating and seemed to be improving her practice. He heard Wei Shezi's voice asking him to look for another room.
Chu Kai walked straight and found a room that had a pool of water in it. He was stunned and watched the surroundings before giggling in admiration. This place is comfortable and has a soothing air.
"It's perfect. You take your place," Wei Shezi opened his voice and then Chu Kai began to sit cross-legged by the pool.
"Concentrate and try to feel the Qi that is around you," Wei Shezi continued.
Chu Kai took a breath and did as Wei Shezi said. It was not difficult for him to sense the Qi that was around him including the Qi flowing within his body.
"We will continue to control the Qi you previously learned. This time try to put the Qi around you into the body, I'll help for the first stage."
Chu Kai closed his eyes and began training under Wei Shezi's guidance. He controls the Qi around him, inserts it through the respiratory tract and does it over and over again.
"When you start to be able to control the Qi well, then try to collect it at one point in your body. I'll help make a place that can hold this spiritual energy,"
Wei Shezi used a bit of his strength to create a temporary energy core within Chu Kai's body. The core was similar to a dantian, yet too fragile. It's just that this is more than enough as a training medium.
Qi control is actually difficult and generally a person needs about two to three weeks to be able to master it. However, since Chu Kai was once taught in the Forest of Monguii, he was able to do it more quickly.
The Qi control done by Chu Kai lasted for two days. He was trying to gather the spiritual energy in the core that Wei Shezi had created, holding it back from leaking out and then gathering even more.
On the third night, Wei Shezi said. "I think you're now ready for the next stage. This was the Qi gathering move to form a Dantian."
"Andy?"
"It refers to the region where one's Qi is concentrated. Simply put, this is the spiritual core that you should form as the basis of being a cultivator,"
Wei Shezi explained, "The Worldly Level of cultivation is the stage where one trains to be stronger than an ordinary human. Then the formation of the Dantian is a sign of whether you have the talent to be a cultivator or just a swordsman."
"What's the difference?" Chu Kai frowned. It was obviously in wonder at Wei Shezi's words because for him cultivators and warriors were the same.
"Actually not too much different. But I can give you some of these images. Cultivators used natural energy and formed a Dantian. While warriors use natural energy to form the Inner Energy Circle. Cultivators focus on training the natural energy, while warriors focus on training the inner power to sharpen their senses."
Wei Shezi continued, "The biggest difference is that cultivators can use natural energy to extend their lifespan, but warriors have restrictions on their age. Not all warriors can be called cultivators, but cultivators are definitely warriors. Do you understand?"
"Then... Which is stronger?"
"It depends on one's talent." Wei Shezi replied, "Although a cultivator has advantages at his age, it does not rule out the possibility that they will be killed by a swordsman. Moreover, cultivators relied heavily on this natural energy called Qj. If he is in a low energy area
nature, then danger will definitely threaten him."
"Then what about the swordsman?"
"Brokers cannot use natural energy for self-healing like cultivators. They could not fly in the sky or ride flying swords and they were not bound to natural energy. Just that, not being bound does not mean being weak. To be honest they would be very powerful even if the conditions around were very minimal with natural energy."
"Then... What do I have to choose?"
"No one told you to vote, you've been lucky from the start."
!!
"Didn't I have sealed your powers before? You have an imperfect dantian and you just have to fix it. Dantians... Is the identity of a cultivator,"
Chu Kai breathed slowly. He received many explanations and directions from Wei Shezi, even the spirit residing in him all along helped as he began to perform the dantian formation stage.
It was not difficult to do so because Chu Kai's Dantian had been formed from the beginning, only it was not perfect yet. He only needed to gather Qi, control it to refine that flawed dantian so that it could be used.
Only, the risk of repairing an imperfect dantian is considerable because if it fails-then it will have an impact on permanent paralysis.
Wei Shezi certainly did not say this fact to Chu Kai. He only told me that the process of repairing this dantian would be a little painful. The problem was, the 'little' word Wei Shezi said was outrageous.
!!
Chu Kai had a pale expression and a lot of sweat pouring down his forehead. This was no longer 'slightly painful', but it felt like there was a part inside of his body that was slashed thinly and then squeezed firmly.
"Why does it feel this sick?!" Chu Kai did not understand why it was still so painful, when his dantian had clearly already formed.
The green-eyed young man struggled for six more hours until the sound of an explosion inside him sounded. This was a sign that he had successfully completed stages at the Worldly Cultivation Level and even his practice had now entered the Heavenly Cultivation Level.
