54 - Fighting

The swordsman and townspeople who had previously chased after the boy brought by Wei Zhang Zihan looked surprised. They did not expect someone would come and directly attack.

The problem was, it was not an ordinary attack as the figure before them slashed the limbs of a man and unhesitatingly beheaded his opponent. Everyone had not even had a chance to react, the incident happened so quickly.

"You guys are after something without knowing that among you there are dead people," Chu Kai still calmed his heartbeat. He pointed to the man who had been slashed to the ground and said, "This man... I don't know what happened to him, but he's definitely not human."

"He's a mutant," the swordsman who performed the last slash opened his voice and made Chu Kai flinch. He said, "Humans who don't die from being bitten by a Demon Beast will become mutants. "You are this." the man rubbed his chin slowly and blinked. He was flabbergasted and then pointed at Chu Kai, "Aren't you the famous one?! Dragon Swordsman of Wushi Mountain Sect..!"

Everyone gasped, including Chu Kai himself. The natural green-eyed man blinked and pointed to himself. He said, "I..? Dragon Warrior?"

"Aiya! Of course, who else is it? What I heard was that the Dragon Swordsman of the Wushi Mountain Sect had naturally green eyes and an unusual face. That must be you, right?"

Chu Kai blinked a few times and then waved, "Master. How could it be me? I'm just... Just an ordinary wanderer. I'm..."

"Hey, who are you really trying to lie to?" one of the warriors patted Chu Kai on the shoulder. He said, "In your hands is the sword of the Wushi Mountain Sect. And that's not all... The heirloom that you hold is the Sword of Wangshang belonging to the Sacred Swordsman Wei Zhang Zihan."

Chu Kai was surprised and spontaneously saw the sword he was holding. In her heart she cursed herself for ignoring such a small detail, it was now difficult for her to pretend and hide her identity in front of these people.

Wei Zhang Zihan stood on a large rock and in a light blue robe that seemed to flutter. The two warriors immediately darted and directly attacked the man to the point of making Chu Kai widen his eyes.

"Stop..! You can't be like this..!" Chu Kai exclaimed, but no one heard his call including Wei Zhang Zihan. Not only that, some people now rushed over and attacked him instead.

Chu Kai had no choice but to fight against these angry people. He used Wei Zhang Zihan's sword and repelled every attack that came. Chu Kai even used a kick even though he had no intention of harming these people.

On the other hand, Wei Zhang Zihan was fighting against three swordsmen who were each of them from different places. His opponent's third sword movement was not the same so Wei Zhang Zihan had to be more careful.

"You better tell me where you're hiding the demon..!" a warrior snaps. He used a kick and his movements were successfully avoided by Wei Zhang Zihan.

"The creature you consider a demon is just a child. He's a human being,"

"There can't be a human being with such an appearance..!"

"You better just say it, Swordsman Wei. Why are you protecting that demon, you're obviously ruining your own name and also denigrating your sect."

Wei Zhang Zihan drew his other sword and simultaneously held back the slash of one of the swordsmen. The clash of swords sounded extremely loud, even to the point of creating sparks.
