147 - Unexpected Meeting

Four consecutive explosions occurred in the lake and it was as if the place was being stirred, even to the point of creating a huge wave of water.

Elder Zhang Lao and the other disciples of the Wushi Mountain Sect were so serious about witnessing the fight between Chu Kai and Qin Shou. The two warriors had different sword techniques, yet were both powerful.

"That's great." one of the disciples of Wushi Mountain Sect could not hide the awe from what he saw. He witnessed how Qin Shou dodged the swift attack from Chu Kai and the next second gave a counterattack.

Chu Kai and Qin Shou's weapons clashed for the umpteenth time. Chu Kai twisted his body and gave a kick on the sidelines of his sword movement, but Qin Shou quickly avoided that kick and instead took a lower position than Chu Kai.

Qin Shou used his legs, intending to give a hard kick upwards yet that second as well... Chu Kai dodged by jumping to the side. Qin Shou did not waste the opportunity and went back to doing so.

Soon after, Qin Shou goes to Chu Kai's place and helps his friend who is now underwater. "You okay?" Qin Shou opened his voice while extending a hand.

Chu Kai who was now soaked received a helping hand from Qin Shou. He and his friend started to come out of the lake, they came up to Elder Zhang Lao and saluted.

"It takes control of high spiritual energy so you can drain it on a fragile object like that wooden sword." Elder Zhang Lao opened his voice. His tone was flat as he spoke to Chu Kai.

Elder Zhang Lao said, "You haven't been able to properly control your spiritual energy and instead want to imitate Qin Shou? Hmph, he is better at controlling spiritual energy than you. You're... Need to learn again."

Chu Kai could not refute this person. He knew the flaw was in his ability which was still lacking in dividing the focus towards controlling spiritual energy. Chu Kai needed even more concentration, at least he could balance himself to stand on the water while multiplying the spiritual energy on his weapon.

Elder Zhang Lao then called the other Wushi Mountain Sect warriors and the two men also fought in the same place as Chu Kai with Qin Shou before.

The fight of the two warriors who were about 25 years old was quickly fierce. Qin Shou nudged Chu Kai and said, "We should be better than them. Look at that,"

"Alright," Elder Zhang Lao opened his voice regardless of Qin Shou's words. He flatly said, "Give him another wooden sword."

Qin Shou saw Chu Kai being given a new wooden sword. He shook his head slowly and would only prepare to face the natural green-eyed young man when Elder Zhang Lao called out someone else's name.
