BIRTH OF DRAGON WARRIORS

BIRTH OF DRAGON WARRIORS
130 - Concealment [2]

After the ancient tomb buildings disappeared from the region of the Valley of the Volcanoes, the warriors from the various sects decided to return to their respective residences.

Wei Zhang Zihan and Liu Han Ying had been searching for Chu Kai for an entire day, yet the young man was nowhere to be found. The two had met Xia Ling Qing instead.

A thought then surfaced and it was a suspicion that Chu Kai was inside the ancient tomb, trapped there to the point of not being able to get out.

"How is this?" Liu Han Ying looked at Wei Zhang Zihan and Xia Ling Qing. He asked, "Is there any way that the ancient tomb seal can reappear?"

Wei Zhang Zihan tried to think about it, but there was indeed no way. He looked towards Xia Ling Qing and realized something. The girl beside him though looked fine, but the sweat point that appeared on the forehead of this girl was clearly too excessive.

"You're not feeling well" Wei Zhang Zihan opened his voice. His words made Liu Han Ying and Xia Ling Qing turn their heads.

"I'm fine," Xia Ling Qing breathed softly. He would again speak when Wei Zhang Zihan's hand stretched out and touched his forehead.

!

"What are you doing?" Xia Ling Qing was startled and brushed off Wei Zhang Zihan's hand. Only, his wrist was precisely held by this young man.

"Can't you take care of yourself?" Wei Zhang Zihan opens his voice. "You're not okay, but you're still thinking about the safety of others."

"I told you I'm fine," Xia Ling Qing looked straight ahead, watched the expanse of the Volcano Valley in front of her and then returned to talk.

Xia Ling Qing said, "The seal of the ancient tomb takes a long time to be able to weaken back. If that person is really there, then we should get him out immediately."

"It's good to find out more about this ancient tomb seal and I think... Rufeng Tower Sect has the answer," Xia Ling Qing continued.

Wei Zhang Zihan and Liu Han Ying looked at each other before finally looking at Xia Ling Qing. Wei Zhang Zihan breathed slowly and said, "Alright. I will also send a message to Shizun. Especially before, Kai threw the warriors out of the ancient tomb seal."

Liu Han Ying nodded, "Considered again... That person was also at odds with the swordsman from the Dead Moon Sect. Information on this should be reported immediately so that Shizun can prepare if the sect returns in trouble with the Dead Moon Sect,"

Xia Ling Qing and Wei Zhang Zihan nodded slowly. The three of them rushed off towards Rufeng Tower Sect and left the Valley region of the Volcanic Land.

Liu Han Ying's worries were clearly reasoned as it was no longer a secret matter if the Dead Moon Sect knew that any of its members had perished at the hands of other cultivators.

The disciples of the Dead Moon Sect had a soul plaque. These plaques were shaped pieces of wood from the blood sap tree and carved the names of each disciple using their spiritual energy.

In the Dead Moon Sect, the classifications of his disciples were split in two. Some are referred to as the 'Outside Disciple' and some are called the 'Core Disciple'. Then among the core disciples there were the so-called 12 Moon Pillars. They were disciples who were not only powerful, but were also very influential in making the name of the Dead Moon Sect famous as the most ruthless black school.

Xue Xiaowen who was the daughter of the owner of the Dead Moon Sect herself could not even be aligned with the 12 Moon Pillars. He was also envious of these twelve highly exalted disciples to the point of forming his own alliance.

Xue Xiaowen recruited her sect disciples to become followers and one of them was Tang Wu Shang. That's why when he saw Tang Wu Shang's soul plaque destroyed, he immediately knew that one of his followers had been killed again.

Not only Tang Wu Shang's plaque, but also Feng Huang Lin's and Zhi Mei's soul plaques. For this plaque Zhi Mei was brought by one of the 12 Pillars of the Moon so the news of Zhi Mei's death was shocking.

The Dead Moon Sect Region,

There is a temple called Hu ⁇ Shen. The temple building is large, made of strong wood and hidden from the sun. Inside the temple, there is a white shawl gently played by the wind.

There was a large statue with a cross-legged sitting position, having three pairs of hands and two between his hands holding a red lotus waving fire.

The other hand of the statue holds weapons such as spears, arrows, swords, and axes. When looked carefully, the huge statue had a red dot on its forehead and a resolute face, showing strong authority as well as anger.

Under the statue is a long table with lots of candles and incense. Someone was sitting cross-legged in front of the statue and from the silhouette that looked like an old man in all white clothes.

There was water dripping and soaking the man's clothes. His old hand was seen firmly gripping his clothes and next a strong wind shut off the rows of candles burning before him. The atmosphere that previously only had minimal lighting, is now again swallowed by darkness.

"Zhi May.... Who killed you?"

The voice was whispering and seemed to merge with the sound of the wind. It didn't take long until the red dot on the large statue before the subject shone brightly.

Spiritual energy burst forth, penetrating up to the roof of the building to the sky. Next was a rumbling sound accompanied by shocks on the ground. The forest surrounding the temple of Hu ⁇ Shen reacted and even made the birds fly away from it.

Chu Kai did not know what kind of terrible problem he had caused because he had finished off Zhi Mei and the rest of the Dead Moon Sect. The young man seemed to care more about how he could get out of this ancient tomb.

Now, Chu Kai was seen drinking water in the lake after having time to clean his hands and wash his face. He was very lucky because he found a room that looked like a small forest with a lake that had clear water.

Previously, Chu Kai had gotten lost and even met some demonic beasts which were the trap techniques of the tomb owners. Chu Kai could face all of them, even Wei Shezi who was with him did not need to intervene.

They also found this place and of course seeing the water made Chu Kai feel more like it than finding a mountain of gold coins. The natural green-eyed youth had already decided that he would make this location a place to live and practice mastering the manifestation techniques he had obtained.

"Kai," Wei Shezi opened his voice. That resolute call made Chu Kai turn his head and immediately stand up.

"What's wrong?"

"Follow me,"

Chu Kai frowned. Wei Shezi asked to be followed without explaining what had really happened. He asked, "What do you see?"

Wei Shezi did not reply to the speech of the young man beside her, he simply continued walking. There were trees around him and there were sounds as his feet stepped on the grass. This place was made like a real forest and to be honest Wei Shezi was amazed by the ability of the owner of this ancient tomb.

"There!" Wei Shezi flinched. He sensed a powerful and rushing mysterious energy. The curious Chu Kai followed behind. It didn't take long for the grass to look green with a big rock in the middle.

!!

Chu Kai and Wei Shezi were jolted open from watching the large rocks, but from seeing an unusually sized egg. Moreover, the white egg has a strange pattern around it.

"Wei Shezi..."

"I know what you're thinking" Wei Shezi said softly. He said, "I felt a familiar spirit energy from that thing. Check it out,"

"What?!" Chu Kai blinked, "Why should I?"

"Is there anyone else besides you here? Go awayl. You're a man, why a coward?"

Hearing the girl beside him make Chu Kai snort. The green-eyed young man looked straight ahead and began to take steps closer to the white egg he saw.

Chu Kai breathed slowly, he watched the surroundings and found nothing suspicious other than this egg. He was a little closer to the egg, but that very second Chu Kai turned his head and immediately opened his voice.

"This egg is here, there must be an owner." Chu Kai felt worried. He looked at Wei Shezi and said, "Are you pranking me?"

"Absolutely not, quickly check it out. If there's an attack, I'll protect you."

"Wei Shezi,"

"Trust. Let's do it,"

Chu Kai looked at the confidence in Wei Shezi's expression. He took a breath and then began to extend a hand to touch the large egg before him. Chu Kai crouched down and he rubbed the surface of this fairly smooth egg.

He could see the golden spiritual energy thinly enveloping this egg. Chu Kai would only open his voice again when he realized that the golden spiritual energy on the egg in front of him was drawing spiritual energy from within him.

!!!

Of course Chu Kai was astonished. He was about to call Wei Shezi when he heard the cracking sound and became aghast. Eggs that have an unusual size in front of it appear to be hatched.

"What's going on?!" Wei Shezi was shocked by Chu Kai's reaction. He even took a step back, having previously said that he would protect this green-eyed young man.

!!

Something began to move from the large egg, Chu Kai heard a growl and then saw a furry hand coming out of the egg. It did not take long until the contents of the mysterious egg were clearly visible.

"Ma-what's that thing?" Chu Kai frowned. What came out of the egg was an animal with white fur.

"Rice?" Chu Kai tilted his head. He blinked as the animal in front of him seemed to lick his hands before it began to approach him.

"That's a carpelai," Wei Shezi replied. His hand was shrouded in reddish smoke before a fan now appeared in his hand.

"Ca... What's?"

"Carp, you've never seen that animal before?"

Chu Kai shook his head in response. He lifted the neck of the creature before him and watched this animal carefully. Carpets have small ears with a long body and neck. His body is hairy and has small legs, looks very cute.

Wei Shezi said, "The barley is similar to a squirrel but it's actually a weasel and a beaver, wait. Why would I explain something like this to you?"

"Oh, forget it." Wei Shezi waved his fan and said, "The essence of it that is in you is no ordinary mink. He was of the kind of ancient demonic beast and could be of the best help,"

"No need to say that this animal is a very dangerous creature, he will definitely refuse to keep it. Ahem," Wei Shezi coughed and then turned around. "Let's start your training,"

"From now on I will call you Xiao Bai," Chu Kai placed the cute beast on his shoulder before catching up with Wei Shezi.
