Leaving the Village

the next day, Zhen and Lyan had been in front of the Astron family's residence, preparing to leave the village. In front of them, there was Lyan's father and mother and Shaun's uncle who intended to take them away.

"We're leaving now" Zhen said.

"Beware, I'll leave Lyan to you, take care of her for me" Lyan's father pleaded with Zhen.

"I will definitely take care of her, it is my responsibility, because she is my lover." Zhen replied firmly.

"Can you promise?, otherwise, I won't allow Lyan to come with you." said Lyan's mother, clasping Lyan's hand.

"Hei Zhen, take this book with you, consider it a gift from me." said Uncle Shaun as he gave the book in his hand to Zhen.

"Don't turn it down, and don't forget me either." continued Shaun's uncle.

"Alright, thank you uncle, I won't forget you." Zhen replied with a smile and took the book.

Zhen then kept the book, then thanked Shaun's uncle once again.

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot about it. This is the weapon that is the counterpart of the book." said uncle Shaun while taking out a golden white spear and giving it to Zhen.

"I gave it to you on purpose because I couldn't use it, it's too powerful" Shaun's uncle continued, laughing.

"If uncle alone can't use that weapon, let alone me." Zhen replied as he looked at Uncle Shaun strangely.

"Hahaha.., I'm sure you can use this weapon, my hunch says, that you can definitely use it." said Uncle Shaun with a smile.

"Well, isn't that a very powerful weapon. How could I possibly use it, whereas an uncle stronger than me could not use it." Zhen said as he looked at the weapon.

"Right now you might not be able to use it, but when you get stronger, I'm sure you can use it" said Uncle Shaun confidently.

"Well, I'll take it." said Zhen then took the weapon and kept it.

"Alright then, we leave first." continued Zhen.

Zhen then clasped Lyan's hand, then stepped his foot away from the place.

For a while, they were outside the village. Zhen then asked Lyan to lead the way, because he did not know the way to the village they were going to.

"Lyan, you know the way isn't it, can you lead the way, because I don't know the way to the village" Zhen said, scratching his head.

"Actually, I don't know the way to that village either." Lyan replied as she turned her face away.

"What..!!!" cried Zhen very loudly.

"You don't know?" asked Zhen in surprise.

"Of course I don't know stupid!, I never leave the village other than into the forest." Shouted Lyan with an annoyed face.

"Huh!!, then how are we going to get there?" asked Zhen while holding his head.

"I don't know either." replied Lyan.

Zhen then turned to stare at the street, he stared at the street blankly. Suddenly, a man approached them.

"Hi young man, what are you doing here?" the man asked Zhen.

"Oh, hi uncle." replied Zhen politely.

"Do you know the way to the nearest village?" asked Zhen.

"Of course, do you want to go there?" the man asked.

When Zhen was about to answer the man's question, Lyan answered him first.

"Yes, we want to go there, but we don't know the way." replied Lyan.

"Ehh, that's the princess." said the man in surprise.

"You know me?." asked Lyan confusedly.

"Of course she knows, you are the princess of this village." Zhen replied as he looked at Lyan with a lazy look.

"Hmm, don't look at me like that." Lyan snorted in annoyance.

Looking at their behavior, the man laughed which made the two people look at him.

"Alright young master and princess, if you want to come with me, we better hurry. I have to deliver my merchandise." said the man as he turned to walk towards the horse-drawn carriage in front of the village gate.

Zhen and Lyan then followed the man who turned out to be a pedaganag. They then boarded the horse carriage after being invited by the man.

After they boarded, the horse carriage moved away from the place.

"Uncle, how long will it take to get to the village by horse-drawn carriage?" asked Zhen.

"About 3 hours young master" replied the man.

"Ohh." Zhen nodded his head.

'Huh, I thought it would be a long time.' Zhen said in his heart.

The situation became silent because no one started the conversation. Bored, Zhen began stroking Lyan's hair to relieve her sense of boredom.

Lyan, who was stroked by her hair, felt very happy. A bright smile formed on her beautiful face. Zhen who saw that smiled.

While the man before them was envious to see that.

'Oh, the beauty of youth. I feel envious looking at them.' said the man inwardly.

The man then turned to look out the window of the horse-drawn carriage. Zhen who saw that chuckled softly.

Zhen kept stroking Lyan's hair, and sometimes patting her cheeks made the man in front of her snort angrily. He continued to do so until they arrived in front of the village gate they were heading to.

"All right, we've arrived" said the man who made Zhen stop the action.

The horse-drawn carriage then entered the village and stopped after being inside the village. Zhen and Lyan rushed down from the carriage, then thanked the man.

The man nodded his head then continued on his way leaving Zhen and Lyan at that place.

After the man's departure, Zhen heaved a sigh of relief then wrapped his hands around Lyan's waist.

"Finally up" said Zhen smiling with relief.

"Yes." Lyan nodded her head in reply to Zhen's words.

"Well Lyan, let's find an inn, we'll be in this village for a few days" Zhen said.

"Hm." Lyan nodded her head again.

Zhen who saw Lyan only responded to his remark with a nod of his head, scratching his head.

"But before that what is the name of this village?, oh yes, I also do not know what is the name of the village where your residence is" Zhen said as he looked at Lyan.

"Huh, you don't know?." asked Lyan in surprise.

"That's how it is, I never asked" Zhen said as he turned his face away.

"Well I will tell you, the village where my residence is named Astrend Village, while this village is called Fristend" said Lyan replied to Zhen's words.

"Hmm, now that I know, alright now let's find an inn" Zhen said and tightened his arms around Lyan's waist and set his feet in search of lodging.

Moments later, they arrived in front of an inn. Zhen immediately entered the inn with Lyan in his arms.

Zhen then booked a room, then paid the bill and then took the room key. He then stepped his feet towards the room he had booked with Lyan in his arms.
