Resuming Training

"Well then, let's start" Zhen said and jumped at one of the wind wolves.

"The sword slash of the wind master" Zhen said and swung his sword.

a bright blue light streaked across the body of a wind wolf into two halves.

Lyan who saw that Zhen had come forward to attack, immediately joined the battle.

"The freedom of the air goddess." Lyan shouted loudly.

The white light shot up against a wind wolf making it crash into a huge rock.

'Boom's'

A violent explosion rang out, dust flying in the place where the wind wolf was blown.

Slowly the dust disappeared revealing the weakly lying body of the wind wolf. Soon the wind wolf breathed its last breath.

Seeing the two of them dead, the wind wolf pack roared violently in the sky and jumped up, lunging towards Zhen and Lyan.

Zhen swung his sword while rotating in place.

"The circular slash of the wind lord." said Zhen.

A bright blue light shot towards the wind wolf herd that was crashing towards him, making him split into pieces.

Pieces of flesh and blood scattered in the air before falling to the ground.

"It's easy" Zhen said as he flicked his sword and stored it away.

"My strength is increasing, my sword skills are also increasing." Zhen continued, smiling.

Zhen then directed his gaze at Lyan who was holding back the lunge of a wind wolf with her sword.

Seen around him, the bodies of the wind wolf pack that had been filled with sword incisions, were sprawled helplessly.

'He is great too.' Zhen said inwardly.

Not long after, the wind wolf that Lyan faced fell to the ground with its head almost severed.

Lyan flicked his sword and put it away, then walked over to Zhen. He looks so exhausted.

"What is this. that you call. with practice.." said Lyan stammering.

Zhen nodded his head confirming Lyan's words.

"Why do you call it training?, isn't it a battle?" asked Lyan puzzled.

"Hahaha.it is indeed a battle, but it can also be a means of training. Because, it could increase one's strength as well as ability." Zhen replied while explaining.

"But.., it was exhausting" said Lyan as she swung her lips.

"Exercise is exhausting." Zhen replied.

"It was not only exhausting, but also dangerous" said Lyan who was still swinging her lips.

"Calm down, I'm here. You don't have to worry, I'll protect you. Trust me." Zhen replied gently and then smiled.

Lyan who heard Zhen's words, felt touched. Her heart felt an indescribable happiness, a smile finally on her beautiful face.

"I believe you." Lyan said with a smile.

"Alright, recover your strength, I'll take care of you" Zhen said happily.

"Hmm good." replied Lyan.

A short while later, Lyan had recovered her strength. They walked back through the forest.

Not long after they had walked, a lightning deer jumped from behind a bush to block their path.

The lightning deer threw a ball of lightning at them. Zhen swiftly took out his sword then swung it forward, slashing the ball of lightning.

'Booooom...'

A loud explosion was created when Zhen's sword came into contact with the ball of lightning. Zhen bounced into the tree making it fall down instantly.

The lightning deer shot out at high speed then pointed its horn towards Lyan. As the lightning deer antler almost touched Lyan, a bright blue light shot towards him.

The lightning deer bounced to the side and then lay on the ground. Utilizing that, Lyan took out her sword and then slashed it towards the lightning deer.

"The freedom of the air goddess." cried Lyan.

white light shot towards the lightning deer. Lightning deer are not able to dodge, so it must be willing his body exposed to the light. A deep sword slash wound was created on his body.

Just as the lightning deer opened its mouth wanting to shout, a bright blue light passed through its neck. As a result, the lightning deer's head separated from its body. The lightning deer died.

Zhen who saw that, gritted his teeth then shouted loudly.

"Sialaaan.." cried Zhen loudly.

"Lyan, help me defeat him" Zhen said seriously.

"Good." Lyan nodded her head.

"The wind lord's sword dance" Zhen shouted loudly.

Zhen leaped then spun in the air then swung his sword.

"Freedom of destruction." Lyan shouted.

A bright green light shot towards the blood monkey accompanied by a bright blue light that kept popping up.

Blood monkeys do not have time to react, so they must be willing to be exposed to these lights. The body of the blood monkey bounced very far away and then fell on the ground helplessly with wide eyes. Seen, his body was filled with sword incisions.

Zhen fell from the air hitting the ground, Lyan immediately ran up to him in a hurry.

Lyan then held onto Zhen's body, bringing him over under a tree. Upon arriving there, Lyan leaned Zhen's body on the tree trunk.

Suddenly, a drop of tears fell onto Zhen's face. Tears now washed over Lyan's face.

"Don't cry Lyan" Zhen said, wiping away the tears that had soaked Lyan's face.

Zhen then hugged Lyan, trying to ease his cries. But instead of stopping, Lyan's crying voice began to sound.

For a while, Lyan's crying voice was no longer heard. Zhen released his embrace then smiled gently at Lyan's face.

"Recover yourself." said Lyan and sat down next to him.

"Good." said Zhen.

A few minutes later, Zhen rose to his feet and extended his hand. Lyan grabbed Zhen's hand then stood up.

They then walked back through the forest. During the journey, they met many elemental beasts. They fought against those elemental beasts that ended in their victory.

It continued, whether it was how many elemental beasts they had managed to defeat, none of them could provide a fierce fight, so they could win easily.

After being satisfied, Zhen invited Lyan back to the cave they had occupied before. Lyan nodded, and they walked back to the cave.

During the trip, they chatted to relieve fatigue. Sometimes, the sound of laughter could be heard on the sidelines of the conversation.

Until the day before dusk, they arrived in front of the cave and immediately entered it. They then sat down and breathed a sigh of relief.

"Finally there" said Lyan in a weak voice.

"Are you tired?." asked Zhen.

"Yes." Lyan replied briefly.

"Come here." call Zhen while patting his thigh.

Lyan then approached then sat on Zhen's lap. Lyan placed her head on Zhen's shoulder then hugged him. Zhen returned the embrace.

They continued the conversation, until one of them felt sleepy.

"I'm so tired" said Lyan weakly.

"If so, then rest." reply Zhen.

"Hmm." said Lyan while correcting the position of his head.

"Are you cold?." asked Zhen gently.

"A little" said Lyan, nodding lightly.

Zhen tightened his embrace, then asked back.

"Are you still feeling cold?" asked Zhen again.

"No longer, thank you." Lyan replied with a smile.

"That's been my job." Zhen replied casually.

"All right, let's break it." continued Zhen and then closed his eyes.

"Hmm, good night." said Lyan and then closed his eyes.

"Good night." Zhen replied with his eyes closed.

Shortly after, they fell asleep.
