Morning at the Astron's house.
Zhen walked out of the residence then stopped in a courtyard. He then pulled out his sword and began to demonstrate his sword technique.
Zhen continued to do it over and over again, hoping that by doing so, his sword techniques would become more and more mastered.
Amidst the movement of his sword, a twig shot out from his right side. Zhen reflexively moved around and then swung his sword slashing the branch into two pieces.
Just as the twig was slashed, a middle-aged man darted with a sword that swung towards Zhen. Zhen swiftly swung back his sword holding the middle-aged man's sword swing which was none other than Shaun's uncle.
Uncle Shaun again swung his sword, Zhen who saw it swing his sword held back Uncle Shaun's sword swing.
They continued to do so, until the sound of the clashing of swords adorned the place. Zhen looked overwhelmed at Uncle Shaun's sword swing that looked without a crack.
The exchange of swords finally came to a halt, as Uncle Shaun's sword had been on Zhen's neck. Zhen dropped his sword then raised his hand upwards.
"I lost." Zhen said with a wry smile.
Uncle Shaun pulled back his sword and then kept it.
"You're great as well as a young man, your sword techniques are extremely powerful. If you move faster, it will be difficult to defeat you with a sword fight" said Uncle Shaun judging the sword technique Zhen played.
"Call me Zhen, regarding my sword technique, I thank you for the judgment" Zhen said as he kept his sword back.
"Hmm.., well I will call you Zhen from now on, you can also call me uncle." said Uncle Shaun with a smile.
"Good uncle." said Zhen replying to Shaun's uncle.
"Hmm, by the way Zhen, is your wife fun?" asked Uncle Shaun.
"Yes, I feel refreshed after waking up" Zhen said in response to Shaun's uncle's question.
"Really, that's good" said Uncle Shaun as he nodded his head.
"Alright Zhen, it seems I can't linger here, I go first ya dah.." continued Uncle Shaun then stepped away leaving Zhen.
Zhen simply nodded his head, ushering in uncle Shaun's departure with his eyes.
"Zhen."
A girl's soft voice reached her ears, making her avert her gaze.
It was seen that Lyan was running towards him. Zhen smiled looking at that then widened his hand welcoming Lyan in his arms.
They hugged for a while, before letting go of his embrace.
"Zhen, I thought you left me." said Lyan with a frown.
"Well, what do you think Lyan, I'm not leaving you. You know, I love you so much." Zhen replied to Lyan.
"Zhen thank you, I love you too." said Lyan shyly. A red hue adorned his face.
"Hmm, hahaha..I'm glad to hear it." Zhen replied back to Lyan and then laughed happily.
Lyan who heard that blushed in embarrassment, she then hugged Zhen who was still laughing. A while later, Zhen halted his laughter then looked at the face of Lyan who had just released her embrace.
"Lyan, is there another village close to this village?" asked Zhen to Lyan.
"As far as I know, there is a small village not far from this village, there is also a large village that is the center of five small villages, one of which is this village. The village was ruled by a baron." said Lyan answering Zhen's question.
"That's it, then we'll go to that little village first" Zhen said.
"That means, we will leave this village" Lyan said as she looked at Zhen's face, looking sad.
"Hmm well, that's what you spend your time with your family" Zhen said, holding Lyan's face.
"You don't have to be sad for Lyan, we'll come back later." Zhen continued trying to dispel Lyan's grief.
'Well, even though I don't know when the time is.'' Zhen said inwardly.
"When are we going?" asked Lyan still with a sad look.
"A week from now. Therefore, spend your time this week with your family" Zhen said to answer Lyan's questions.
"If so, I leave first." said Lyan then turned back to step back into the residence.
Zhen sighed weakly, then continued his sword practice. He continued to train until the evening.
He had just stopped his training, when Lyan called out to him.
"Zhen." call Lyan.
Zhen stopped his training and walked towards Lyan.
"Follow the training, it's night. Clean yourself up and then we'll rest." said Lyan.
They then stepped foot into the residence and headed straight for Lyan's room.
Arriving at Lyan's room, Zhen entered the bathroom in the room. A few moments later, he came out in neat clothes.
He then laid his body on the bed, right next to Lyan who had fallen asleep.
"Huh.., I feel guilty making her sad" Zhen said as he looked at Lyan's sleeping face.
Zhen shook his head and closed his eyes. Shortly after, he fell asleep.
The next day, in a courtyard in the residence, Zhen was practicing swordsmanship with Shaun's uncle who was accompanying him.
They continued to exchange attacks, pitting their swords until Uncle Shaun's sword was around his neck. After that they chatted for a while before Uncle Shaun left the place.
After Shaun's uncle's departure, Zhen again swung his sword. He continued to train until the evening. He had only stopped when Lyan called out to him.
Day after day passed, Zhen continued to practice his sword techniques in the company of uncle Shaun. Lyan spent time with her family.
Zhen continued to train, until he was bored. Zhen then sat in the courtyard while looking at the residence.
"Huh..., boring." said Zhen with a lazy expression.
'What should I do?." asked Zhen inwardly.
Zhen thought for a moment, then decided to go around the village.
"Alright, I go around the village, who knows there is something interesting" said Zhen then stood up and tidied up his clothes.
Zhen then stepped his foot towards the exit of the residence. He continued walking while watching the surrounding village, hoping for something interesting.
Zhen continued to watch his surroundings, but did not get anything that caught his attention. Until the evening, Zhen returned to the residence of the Astron family.
Arriving there, he saw Lyan waiting for him, a sad look on his face.
"Where have you been?." asked Lyan, his eyes almost shedding tears.
Zhen who saw that immediately hugged her then tried to calm her down, then answered her question.
"I've been going around the village." replied Zhen.
"Why didn't you tell me?" asked Lyan who had sobbed in his arms.
"A.. ak... i, I just don't want to bother you, ma'am. aren't you enjoying your time with your family." said Zhen with a slightly shaking body.
Lyan who heard that was silent, she kept crying in Zhen's arms. Zhen tried to calm down the crying Lyan.
"Relax Lyan." said Zhen as he stroked Lyan's back.
After trying for quite a long time, finally the sound of Lyan's cry was no longer heard. Turns out, Lyan had fallen asleep in his arms.
Zhen then carried Lyan's body. He watched Lyan's face for a moment before walking to bring her into Lyan's room.
Zhen then laid Lyan's body on the bed, then went to lie down. Zhen hugged Lyan's body then smiled, then closed his eyes.
