Events In The Cave

Three days later, Zhen regained consciousness from his stupor. He then looked around and realized that his head was in the lap of the girl he had saved.

"You're awake" said the girl in her soft voice.

The girl's soft voice, entering Zhen's ears made her feel very comfortable. Zhen then looked at the girl's face, making her drift in his mind.

'Is this a dream, I'm lying on the lap of a pretty girl'

Without him noticing, his hand moved touching the girl's face.

"Very beautiful" Zhen said involuntarily.

Hearing Zhen's words, a red hue appeared on the girl's face accompanied by a sweet smile. The girl's heart rate was racing fast.

"Te. thank you." said the girl timidly.

Zhen came to a realization from his mind upon hearing the girl's words. Zhen immediately got up from the lap of the girl while smiling awkwardly.

"Ma.. sorry, I didn't realize when I did it." Zhen stammered. A shy expression appeared on his handsome face.

"It's okay, thank you for the compliment." the girl chimed in with a smile.

"Oh, i. yeah, hahaha." Zhen laughed awkwardly.

After Zhen finished his words, a silent atmosphere enveloped the place. An awkwardness arose between the two, before Zhen finally started the conversation.

"Oh yeah, you're the girl who saw me behind the tree, right?" Zhen said.

"Hmm." the girl just nodded her head.

"Can I know what your name is?, if you don't want to answer it, that's fine." asked Zhen politely.

"Lyan, Lyan Astron's. Then what's your name?." replied the girl and asked back.

"Zhen Xions, just call me Zhen" Zhen replied with a smile.

"Good name" said the girl named Lyan.

"Really, hahaha.thank you." Zhen replied and laughed.

They continued chatting, the occasional sound of laughter heard in the middle of the chatter.

"Haha...."

"Haha..."

Their conversation continues. Due to the preoccupation with chatting, they did not realize outside the cave, it was raining heavily.

"So, what are you going to do after this?" asked Lyan to Zhen.

"Continuing training, how about you?" replied Zhen and asked back.

"I don't know." said Lyan, swinging her lips.

Zhen was fixated for a moment before returning to his original state.

"uhm, if so, will you accompany me tomorrow?." Zhen asked.

"Is it okay?." asked Lyan to make sure.

"Of course, but if you don't want to." said Zhen.

"I want to." said Lyan quickly so that Zhen could not finish his words.

"Hmm, really?" asked Zhen to confirm.

"Yes, tomorrow and forever." replied Lyan before closing her mouth.

'what I said.' said Lyan inwardly.

"hmm, o.ok." said Zhen in surprise.

"ma... I mean.." said Lyan.

"I see, you want to be with me always. All right, I want it if it's you." Zhen said with a big smile.

Lyan who heard Zhen's words widened her eyes, a beautiful smile painted on her beautiful face.

"Come here." call Zhen as he spread out his hands.

Lyan approached Zhen timidly, then sat down beside him. Zhen lifted Lyan on his lap then hugged her.

"Haha.., you're happy." said Zhen as he rubbed the top of Lyan's head.

"umm." Lyan replied briefly.

Hearing Lyan's reply, Zhen smiled gently as he continued wiping the top of Lyan's head.

"It looks like we have to delay his training" Zhen said as he looked out at the cave.

"Why, is it because of me?" asked Lyan

"Look, it's raining outside and also, the night has come" Zhen said, pointing out of the cave.

"I see.." said Lyan and smiled sweetly.

"Well, your smile is so beautiful, I want to always see your smile." said Zhen, tightening his arms.

Because of the small sound he let out, Zhen could only hear his voice faintly.

"what are you saying?" asked Zhen.

"nothing" said Lyan quickly.

"Hmm really, I feel like I heard something" Zhen said with a raised eyebrow.

"Maybe it's the sound of the wind" Lyan said in response to Zhen's words.

"It's possible." said Zhen.

"Alright, we should rest in preparation for tomorrow. Go to sleep, I'll take care of you." Then Zhen put Lyan's head on his shoulder. Zhen then further tightened his embrace.

"Good night" said Zhen.

"Hmm, good night." Lyan replied with a smile then hugged Zhen with her soft hands.

They close their eyes and fall asleep in a sitting position while hugging. A aura of warmth emerged from the couple, so that the cold air from the cave was unable to penetrate their bodies.

Evening was gone, a bright morning appeared carrying the sun with him which was emitting a bright light.

Zhen woke up from his sleep, then saw Lyan in his lap who was still asleep.

Zhen smiled then stroked his head gently. He sometimes touched the girl's cheek and then laughed.

"She was very pretty when she fell asleep like this" Zhen said as he continued to gently stroke the girl's head.

Just as he finished his words, Lyan woke up from his sleep. Zhen who saw that, stopped stroking Lyan's head.

"Why stop" said Lyan who had just regained consciousness.

Hearing that, Zhen continued to rub Lyan's head back.

"You're awake" said Zhen softly.

Lyan nodded her head.

"Alright if so, good morning." Zhen said with a smile.

"Good morning." said Lyan smiling back.

"Alright, prepare yourself. We'll continue training." said Zhen and stopped his hand from stroking Lyan's head.

"Let me rest for a moment" said Lyan spoiledly.

"Yes already, then let me get ready." replied Zhen.

"keep it like this, just for a minute. Please." said Lyan pleading.

"Alright, alright." Zhen replied gently and smiled.

A few minutes passed, Lyan let go of her embrace and then stood up from Zhen's lap. Zhen who saw that stood up.

"Alright, I'm ready" said Lyan smiling brightly.

"Hmm, are you satisfied?" asked Zhen.

"Yes." Lyan replied briefly.

"And so, are you ready?" asked Zhen again.

"That's how it is." replied Lyan again.

Zhen scratched his head, a look of astonishment appearing on his face.

"why?." asked Lyan.

"it's okay, let's continue the practice" Zhen said as he shook his head.

They then walked out of the cave. Arriving outside the cave, a warm sunlight greeted them.

The cold morning air hit them. They breathe fresh air and exhale it again.

"Well, what a beautiful morning, right." said Zhen as he turned to look at Lyan.

"Hmm, you're right." said Lyan smiling sweetly.

"Alright, the training begins." cried Zhen in spirit.

Lyan who saw that, chuckled softly.

They walked through the forest enjoying the morning atmosphere. They kept walking while watching their surroundings.

Until a while, they were blocked by a herd of Wind wolves that came out from behind the thickets. The flock of wind wolves stared at them with a savage gaze.

Seeing that, Zhen took out his sword and pointed it forward. Seeing that Zhen had taken out his sword, Lyan also took out his sword.

The golden blue sword accompanied by the silvery white sword shone when exposed to the sunlight.

"Are you ready, Lyan" Zhen said as he looked at Lyan.

"Hmm, sure." replied Lyan nodding her head.
