Goblin Attack

A few days later, on the eve of the night. Zhen looked at Lyan who was looking at the sky before sighing.

"Well, actually what you saw up there" Zhen said curiously.

"Seeing the moon, you want to keep me company." Lyan replied as she continued to look up at the sky.

"No, thank you." Zhen said briefly.

Zhen then laid his body on the bed. Just as he had just closed his eyes, a loud shouting sound rang out making him reopen his eyes.

"Master, sir, those goblins have come...."

The sound of screaming sounded.

Zhen got up from the bed while snorting in annoyance.

"Hmh shit, I was just about to fall asleep" Zhen said snorted in annoyance.

"It looks like the goblins have come" Lyan said as she approached Zhen.

"Yes you're right, I will eliminate them" Zhen said resentfully.

Zhen then rushed out of his residence followed Lyan behind him.

Just as they were coming out of the residence, a small arrow shot towards them which was none other than one of the goblin herds that was in front of them.

Zhen hugged Lyan then turned to the side while taking out his sword, he then swung his sword forward.

"The sword slash of the wind lord." Zhen shouted loudly.

A bright blue light shot forward, piercing through the body of the goblin herd in front of him, making it split into pieces. Green blood scattered in the air along with the pieces of meat.

"This is a good time to test the sword technique I just learned" Zhen said as he kept his sword.

"But before that, I will test the strength of my spear technique." Zhen continued with a spirit as he took out the spear.

Zhen jumped towards one of the goblins not far away from him while swinging his spear from the right side.

The goblin's body was split into two pieces when it was hit by Zhen's spear swing. Zhen then jumped towards the group of goblins while shaking his spear.

Seeing Zhen enter the battle, Lyan did not remain silent. He also pulled out his sword then charged towards the surrounding goblins.

The dwarves who saw that, cheered loudly. They then darted into battle with a burning spirit.

"Destroy those goblins..." Shouted Daren loudly.

"Ooo..." Shouted the dwarves with vigor.

A battle ensued between the goblins and the dwarves. Zhen and Lyan who were participating in the battle also felt excited.

Zhen continued to swing his spear, each swing of his spear would kill two to three goblins in the vicinity.

"Alright, this is enough, now is the time to use my sword technique" Zhen said as he nodded his head and kept his spear.

Zhen then pulled out his sword then jumped into the air while flowing mana on the sword.

White light shot out at high speed towards the group of goblins

Instantly, the heartbreaking screams of the goblins sounded before stopping. When the scream stopped, the bodies of the goblins were seen leaving only bones.

The dwarves who saw that were shocked, they shuddered in horror at the effects of the Zhen technique. They think, anyone who is exposed to the technique, is sure to die by leaving the bones alone.

Unlike the goblins, seeing the incident made them break out in cold sweat. The goblin leader who saw the incident stared at Zhen sharply.

The Goblin Leader then shot towards Zhen while swinging his huge axe, Zhen who saw that swung his sword fended off the huge axe.

Zhen then pulled out his sword then spun around then slashed his sword while shouting.

The goblin leader did not have time to react, so Zhen's sword struck his body and split it into two pieces.

The split goblin leader's body suddenly shrank to the point of leaving behind only bones. The goblins who saw that took a cold breath.

Seeing that the leader had been killed, the remaining goblins laid their weapons to the ground, then kneeled down with their heads bowed towards Zhen.

One of them then said.

"We surrender, we goblins are willing to be your subordinates, sir" said the goblin.

The dwarves cheered loudly triumphantly.

"Ooo...."

Zhen who saw the incident raised next to his eyebrows.

"Why are you kneeling to me, and willing to be my subordinate?" asked Zhen.

"If the leader of an army has been defeated, it will automatically be subordinate to the one who defeated the leader" replied Cloris.

"Even if they are willing, otherwise, they will continue to attack until the last blood point." said Lyan.

"That's it." said Zhen while nodding his head.

He then looked at the goblins with a sharp look.

"What happens if I don't accept them?" asked Zhen to Cloris.

"That's the same as you degrading their reputation, for us it's very immoral" Cloris said with a sharp look.

Zhen who heard that scratched his non-itchy head while chuckling.

"Alright then, I accept you to be my subordinates" Zhen said with a smile.

"Thank you sir" said the goblins in thanks.

"Hmm, where do you live?." Zhen nodded his head before returning to ask.

"We live in a cave not far from here" replied one of the goblins.

"Well, tomorrow one of you will take me there, while you may stay here, do you mind" Zhen said.

"No sir." said the goblins in unison.

"Good." said Zhen with a smile.

"Cloris would you agree if they stayed here?" asked Zhen as he turned to look at Cloris.

"No problem sir." replied Cloris.

"We will also help them build their residence" said one of the dwarves.

"Yes we will help" said the other dwarf simultaneously.

Seeing that Zhen smiled happily.

"Well, as it's getting late, I'll rest, come on Lyan" Zhen said, grabbing Lyan's hand.

He then walked towards his residence.

"Oh yes, don't forget to clear up the former battle huh." said Zhen a little loudly.

The dwarves and goblins who heard that only nodded their heads while looking towards Zhen and Lyan.

Upon his arrival, Zhen immediately laid his body on the bed. Lyan, who saw that, also lay down next to Zhen.

Zhen smiled then hugged Lyan tightly. Lyan who felt Zhen's embrace also turned to hug Zhen.

They talked for a while before closing their eyes and falling asleep.

Meanwhile, the dwarves and goblins work together to collect the bodies of the goblins that have been killed. After everything had been gathered, they burned it.

The dwarves then headed for his residence to rest. While the goblins made a camp for his residence while around the residence of the dwarves.

It didn't take long, the goblins had finished building the camp, they entered the camp and rested.
