The acute curiosity made me set foot in the next village, the village where my in-laws lived. Not yet I reached home, greeting one of the neighbors stop the speed of my motorbike.
"Eh, Via. Long time not seen. How's things? Wanna clean the house, okay?" Susi, who was walking with her son, asked when she saw me.
"Thank God be good, ma'am. How does cleaning mean?" I went back to that middle-aged woman.
The young girl next to Susi's mom nudged her mother's arm. Making the look of his mother instantly turn surprised.
"Oh, thank God for being good. We go first, yeah." Susi immediately pulled her son's hand away from there in a hurry.
"Squeaky. They're avoiding me like they've seen ghosts." I flicked my lips and drove the bike back to its original destination.
"Via!"
Again I had to stop the bike when I heard my name being called.
"Who the hell?" I was looking for the owner of the voice, but not a single head appeared around me.
The tail of my eyes accidentally saw a black shadow that had just entered one of the alleyways. The brain says I should ignore it, but the heart says something else.
I pulled the bike over in front of the terrace of one of the residents' houses. Then rushed after the shadow before he fled further. It's only right since the trip was like someone was following me. Maybe it was him.
I followed the narrow alleyway that was winding. Chasing the all-black dressed figure in front. From the back it looked familiar to me.
"Hey! Wait!" yell at him.
Unlike in the movies, when usually people who are chased when called they even accelerate the pace of running. But this is not. He stopped without looking at me. Did he forget the script? Haha just weird.
"Hhh ... Wh-wait. Wh-who are you?" tanyaku while gasping to regulate the breath that ngos-nangosan.
That figure doesn't budge. It just makes me curious.
"Hey, I'm asking you!" I raised my voice. Thinking that he didn't hear my voice.
But it seems that he has no intention of heeding my call. I who was nearby extended a hand to turn her body to face me forcibly.
It may look aggressive, but I don't want to mess around.
"W-You're following me?" I asked with a look of disbelief while releasing a hand grip on his shoulder.
"Where are you going?" his reply was relaxed with a face with no sin at all.
"It's none of your business! If there is no work, do not follow others. That includes criminal acts, can be hit by articles, you know. Unpleasant actions and put others at risk" I explained at length. Either he understands or he doesn't but I'm very upset to keep dealing with that guy.
"I just want to take care of you."
"What?! Guarding? Your existence threatens my soul, Bryan. I have to go." I immediately turned around before getting sick of seeing his face.
"Wait!" The man dressed in black with his hat held my hand.
"Detach, right?!" my cynic.
"Don't go there or you'll regret it."
"You ngancem?"
"I don't want you to be sad."
"What the hell are you. It's unclear!" I threw Bryan's hand which held my arm in one go.
"It is not yet time that you know about this truth, Via. I'm afraid you'll be shaken."
I stopped my steps and turned around. "What do you really want to talk about?"
"If you're ready, I can tell you."
"I'm very ready" I said, folding my hands in front of my chest with a puffy look.
Bryan seemed to take a breath. From this far enough distance I can still see the resounding look carved on his face.
"I'm waiting" I said impatiently to hear the words that were about to be spoken.
"Your parents and husband are dead."
