"Enghh .. "my sigh when I just opened my eyes.
I woke up because my stomach was wrapped. Was this the effect of yesterday's miscarriage? It hurts so much. When I get out of bed I do it with great difficulty. Trained full of struggle to get out of the bedroom.
"Al's? Are you that?" ask me on the figure in front of the stove, when just arrived in front of the kitchen.
"Eh, Mama. Just awake?" Althaf turned around with a spatula on his right hand. The smell of fried eggs filled the kitchen.
I'm late waking up. Maybe Althaf's hungry because I haven't made breakfast yet.
"Please help Mama" I asked.
"Mama why?"
After turning off the stove, Althaf immediately approached me who was shaking uncontrollably withstanding the pain in the increasingly agonizing stomach. He guided my body to the bathroom.
Smart kid. Before I tell him to understand my wish.
"Thank you, Al."
"Be careful, Ma. I need help telling me."
I nodded before closing the bathroom door.
"Awhh," I groaned as I bowed. Not strong with a stomach that is getting wrapped around this no reason.
For a second, I felt something coming out of the birth canal. Along with the release of some of those things, my stomach is getting better as well. The pain goes away.
I can breathe a sigh of relief. After checking, it turned out that it was a small lump of flesh along with many drops of blood. Everything I cleaned immediately by dissolving in a closet. The rest splattered on the floor only I rinse with water until clean there is no left.
"Assalamu'alaikum .. "greetings from Raihan mas heard to where I rested.
After I'm done with my business in the bathroom. I welcome her home with a hug. Be honest. I've missed him.
"Why, Deck?"
"Kangen."
Raihan laughed crisply.
"Now I didn't see you last night, I miss you" she said.
I don't give a shit. Just need a hug for now. After everything that happened, the presence of my husband by my side was very useful to strengthen my mentality which was tested constantly.
"Mom's better?" ask Al who just came. His uniform was neat, complete with a bag hanging on his shoulders.
"Why is Mama?" Raihan looked at me in wonder.
"No, Mas. I'm kind. Just an ordinary stomachache," my dear.
"Don't eat late, Ma. Yeah, I'll take Al to school first."
"Be careful, Mommy."
"Assalamu'alaikum's chat. Come on Al." My husband looked at Al who was behind my body.
"Assalamu'alaikum, Ma." Althaf passed after kissing the back of my hand.
"Wa'alaikumsal—" lirihku paused, with eyes not separated from the bag on Althaf's back.
I saw the figure of a small creature that was struggling there without wearing a single piece of clothing.
"W-what was that?" My feet are grinding disco.
The figure turned his head 180° until it faced me. His eyes were hollow and bleeding. He smiled broadly at me. Then I knew his teeth hadn't grown.
That picture reminds me of a newborn baby.
Deg.
"W-what is it ... My-my child?" The question just popped out of my lips.
Dugm! Dugm!
A voice suddenly appeared from the kitchen. I was actually lazy to check it. But curiosity got my body up. Try to think positively. Who knows, it's just a mouse or a cat.
My steps stopped in front of the kitchen.
"Astaghfirullah ... How can it?!" muttered surprised.
My two beads of eyes were staring at the pool of blood right where I miscarried yesterday. If Raihan sees it, I could die if asked about it.
Immediately I took a new washcloth from the kitchen cabinet. The old washcloth I threw away was used to clean my blood yesterday. Continued mopping it with floor cleaners, so that the fishy smell is disguised.
My feelings alone or this blood smells worse than the ones here.
"Mama."
Deg.
That voice again. Like the voice of a girl.
"W-who?" ask me to vent.
"Why don't you love me?"
"You who? I'm not your mama! Go!" I cried out in frustration, closing both ears hoping that the sound would disappear.
"Mama."
"Go!"
"Don't kill me, Ma."
Dugm!
Suddenly a small blood-soaked baby came out from the bathroom. Crawl out slowly with the coconut down.
Reflex I'm rewinding.
Dugh!
The sound of my back hitting the wall. My eyes kept on the creature straight no matter what it was called.
"W-who are you? Please don't disturb. I don't have anything wrong with you" I said.
My mistress is gone. The appearance is terrible. Especially when the creature looks up. The eyeballs are gone. Only leaving the eye socket that is hollow with blood pouring from it.
"I'm your son, Ma."
Didn't expect that word to come out of her pale, tiny lips.
"No way."
"Why did Mom kill me? Mama hates me?"
The creature that claimed to be my son kept crawling closer. Leaving a trail of blood on the path through which it passed. The smell of rotten rancid nan from his body began to smell on the sense of breathing. I almost threw up.
"Go! Please don't bother me. It wasn't me who killed you. Hicks ..."
I started sobbing. Given how much I couldn't care less about my fetus that was buried next to the house. I even forgot to pray for it. What kind of mother am I?
Forgive Mama, Son ....
Brugh!
