Ch 51:Meet With the Strongest Figure

The room full of dismembered corpses and lying and the stench mixed with the stinging drugs in the room greatly disturbs Valen and Demian's keen sense of smell.

Not only that, there were still some people lying unconscious near Merlin who was working on his experiments.

They look like humans who are not dead and not alive, probably because of the experiment of Merlin that makes them unable to do anything except surrender to receive drugs from him.

“Are you Merlin?” ask Demian.

“What's really why? Do you guys have to be with me?” the answer.

Demian wanted to answer him but was silent in surprise when he saw Valen staring at the person so irritatedly that he let out a slight pressure that made him tremble. Maybe what makes Valen like that is the result of his actions that play tricks on someone's body to be used as experimental material.

“Let me take care of it.” muttered Valen while staring at Merlin.

“Good. I take care of his men if anyone comes.” replied Demian who realized that Valen was upset.

“Hei! Why are you quiet!” snapped Merlin.

Valen disappeared and appeared instantly after slashing Merlin's neck until it was decapitated to fall towards the people who were lying in the room.

“I can't bear to see someone like you reminding me of that goddamn king!” valen stared at Merlin's body, which lay bleeding continuously from his neck.

“A-father...” said one of the people who woke up when he saw Merlin's head pointing at him.

“A-father m-dead..” he continued.

“H-hey... A-dad died..” he said in a quiet voice.

Not long after, the people who had been lying down immediately stood up and looked at Valen.

“Di-day... Which kills... Dad...” show it to Valen.

They walked slowly with withered gazes towards Valen.

Valen could not believe that the men were defending Merlin, who treated their lives as a tool.

“Why are you defending him! He that is the one who made you guys like this!!” snapped Valen while slowly retreating.

They seemed not to hear Valen's words and continued to mutter the same words continuously as they approached Valen.

“We'd better get out of here! Just leave them like that, after all there is nothing you can do as well.” Demian scolded.

Valen had little heart to see them but what Demian said was true, there was nothing he could do because such a thing was not his forte.

Valen then passed them easily and reached the entrance of the room.

“I think that killing people will make them happy but it's better.” Valen said turning to people who are still walking towards him slowly.

“They didn't ask to be saved.” Demian said patting Valen on the shoulder.

They then came out of the castle because the business was done but it was a little confusing why there was no masked person guarding it other than the two people who had previously.

“Where are the other masked people?” valen asked as they were already far away from the castle area.

“Man I know, you should have asked that to the man earlier.” replied Demian.

“Then ask his spirit only.” replied Demian.

Someone suddenly attacked Demian from his right to make Demian with Valen who was encouraged by it.

“Ugh... Move!” valen pushed Demian's body over him.

“Who attacked me earlier!” demian shouted while trying to stand up slowly.

“Other masked people!” said Valen.

“You were lucky enough not to die immediately after being hit by my blow but it should have broken your hand bones.” he said raising his big hand.

That person was also big but not as big as the person who first attacked them and he was also wearing a mask, it seemed like they were the other members of the Twelve Mask.

After that Demian returned to human existence and his fight was finished so quickly it did not even take 20 seconds.

“K-why there is a Dragon here!!” said Monkey who was scared to see the incident earlier.

“It looks like we're being unlucky Monkey.” Eagle said.

“Completed.” Valen said after he finished piercing their hearts quickly.

“If that is indeed true, what made him attack this city? It's not that this city is far enough and remote so there should be no suspicious things that make it need to be destroyed.” asked Demian.
