Ch 26:Getting a New Job

Muve advanced with a dry smile towards those monsters and of course nothing changed even if they were together because the strength was the same.

The fight with the monster was only completed for less than 20 minutes and now only the Goblin King remained.

Muve was a little confused as to why the King Goblin did not budge in the slightest to see his men die with a body that was split and limped.

“Hey you are not maj...!!” Muve was surprised to see the Goblin King disappear instantly and appear beside him while slashing his sword towards Muve's right shoulder.

“Ukh...” Muve groaned as he fended off the attack and tried not to back down in the slightest.

The Goblin King took advantage of the situation and by using his left hand he strangled Muve with a sly smile.

“You dare to be arrogant just for catching me!” said Muve in sight and then clasped the hand of the King Goblin firmly.

The Goblin King also strengthened his giggles but Muve's grasp was stronger and made him let go of Muve's neck.

Seeing that Muve immediately pulled his hand up to break up and made the King Goblin sit in pain.

“Nih I turned back the pain was strangled.” said Muve strangled King Goblin's neck firmly to make his neck bone broken.

[Floor 10 - Finished]

[Opens Portal Towards the 11th Floor]

“Cih you think just relying on speed alone is enough!” said Muve throwing the corpse of the King Goblin.

“Uh... It seems that when viewed from their point of view, it is brother Muve who is a monster.” Lucy said when she saw the upset Muve.

“And if you become stronger than this maybe you could be the equivalent of King Arthur.”.

“14.” replied Muve.

“This is just a coincidence.” said Muve evasive.

Muve decided to proceed to the 11th floor with Lucy and Mr. Slime.

The 11th floor of the territory is the same as before but this time it is night and quite luminous because the moon is quite bright.

The monster that first appeared on the 11th floor was hundreds of Cave Bat one of the monsters that are often found in the cave, which is, they are actually quite weak but if a group can make a hassle because usually one group can reach 30-100 Cave Bat and plus each bite gives a toxic effect.

“In retrospect it was my first time fighting a flying type Monster.” Muve muttered.

Well even though they were in such a group they still died when they were hit by Muve's Slashing Wave.

A Few Hours Later.

It did not feel like it had been so long that Muve entered the Tower Of Trial and now Muve had finally reached the 40th floor.

“Hah... Huh... Looks like my limit is only on this 40th floor.” Muve said with breathless breath and a body that was injured like a burn.

On the 40th floor of the territory is a volcanic land that is so hot, even silence has made the heat.

Lucy alone was now lying down as the heat of the place rendered the body helpless.

But the heat helped Muve slightly raise his Fire Resistance Level but still could not withstand the heat if he was hit by a fire-type attack.

On the floor, the monsters that appear are Bosses on every floor just like before.

Big Salamander, Hell Werewolf, Elder Red Monkey, Minotaur, Volcan, Phoenix, Red Dragon and the original Boss in the room were Cerberus.

Previously on the 31-39 floors alone was enough to make Muve overwhelmed because the terrain was very profitable for these monsters, there are some Lucy helps to use the power of her Ring but all in vain because the enemy Attribute is Fire.

[Super Regeneration - Active]

“Come let's start again!” muve shouted running towards those monsters.

“Slashing Wave!”

The slash was aimed at the monsters quickly but the attack did not scratch even the slightest monster in front of Volcan.

Volcan is a magma stone monster that is quite large and hard although the movement is slow but the strength cannot be underestimated.

“Cih!”

Muve advanced back to attack Volcan but when he almost got to Volcan suddenly a sticky and hot tongue caught himself and wrapped around Muve's strong body.

“You think this alone is enough to limit my movement!” said Muve forcefully opened the winding and managed to open a little and unfortunately Muve forgot in front of him.

When Muve escaped from the winding a huge blow was aimed at him, as he could not dodge Muve trying to hold him back with the Shark Sword.

Volcan pressed down on Muve's body which held his fist firmly to the ground “I-this alone is not enough!!” muve shouted pushing back Volcan's hand and gave a gap for him to get out of the place.

Muve jumped backwards far enough to dodge the impending attack again but it turned out that the place where Muve jumped was where the Hell Werewolf had stood.

“Auuuu!!!”

[Movement Will Be A Little Slow]

The werewolf clawed at Muve's back firmly and there was not enough of it that Elder Red Monkey also leaped towards Muve and slammed Muve into the ground with ease.

“Akh!!” muve's moans spewed a lot of blood from his mouth.

“K-sister Muve..” said Lucy who could only lie down to see Muve injured because his power was drained due to the heat of the place.

“Ma-still bell- Argh!!!” yelled Muve who shouted quite loudly because the Minotaur who slashed his hand using an axe to break up.

“A-I feel the cu-german in-floored this Mo-monster slightly cooperates.” Inner Muve.

“I-this hurts so much..” murmured Muve lay resigned.

In the final moments Muve saw Red Dragon and Phoenix spitting huge flames from his mouth towards Muve and making Muve burn completely without the slightest bone remaining.

[Teleportation Towards Exit Tower]

Muve opened his eyes slowly as no more pain felt on his body.

“Whoever will surely die if the Monster is like that.” said Muve looks upset because he was unable to finish Floor 40 earlier.

[Lucy Is Inside The Tower And The Mission Will Be Completed When Lucy Dies]

“Ta-but he will definitely come back to life open..”.

[Finished Floor: 39]

[Getting Jo-]

“Can't just delay that Job! I now want to know where Lucy is!!.” snapped Muve began to get angry.

“Lucy!! Lucy!!!” yelled Muve loudly.

“Uhm... What's up, brother Muve?” replied Lucy who turned out to be lying with Mr. Slime behind Muve.

“Lu-lucy!!” Muve immediately hugged Lucy tightly with happiness and a sense of relief that Lucy survived.

“Eh?! What's up, sister?” lucy looked confused.

“I thought you were real dead.” replied Muve.

“Mati? Dead why?” ask Lucy

“Eh isn't that the tower we entered earlier? Why are we here again?” ask again.

“You don't remember what happened?”

“Hm as remembered Lucy only saw her brother who was injured by being gang-knocked by monsters then Lucy fainted.” she replied.

“Well that's not important, the important thing is now that you survive.” said Muve.

“Now let's go back, my business in this place is done.” said Muve standing with Lucy's hand.

“System where is the return portal?” inner Muve.

[Opens Back Portal]

A black portal appeared in front of them and after passing through it they appeared in the room they had rented before.

“Finally we are back but it seems like it is almost morning now.” said Muve looking out the window.

“Well we've been in that strange place for too long anyway but by the way what business are we in that place?” said Lucy lying in a bed.

“It was to make me stronger.” replied Muve.

“But isn't brother now strong enough? What purpose does big brother have until he wants to be so strong?” ask Lucy.

“I want to avenge me.” replied Muve.

“Defend? Brother turned out to be vindictive too yes, but when viewed from the attitude of brother, actually brother is a good person.” said Lucy.

“Kakk... Lucy is a little sleepy, Lucy building when it is noon.” said Lucy.

“Hey just a few hours in the morning, still want to sleep?” muve said but Lucy had fallen asleep quickly.
