Become Tyrant On My Own Way

Become Tyrant On My Own Way
Chapter 76 – ALTHOUGH ONLY IN DREAMS

In the prison located on the basement of the mansion, Codi was confined there.

In the midst of enjoying the silence of his time in a place that almost no one was, suddenly there was the sound of footsteps approaching that made Codi's curiosity shudder.

Codi became curious and turned to the outside of the cell.

Apparently what came was a figure he had not expected at all. He is Nunu.

“Master Codi.”

Nunu called out Codi's name, but there seemed to be no intention from Codi to answer the call.

“Hey, Mr Codi, Mr Codi, Mr Codi, Mr Codi, Mr Codi, Mr Codi, Mr Codi, Mr Codi!”

“Enough! I can hear it!”

Codi finally answered the call because he could not bear to hear Nunu constantly repeating his name, even half of it sounded like ridicule.

“Thank God. I'm guessing Mr. Albert and Miss Yasmin hit you too hard so your ears become dysfunctional again.”

“You came here to mock me huh?!”

Even a high-ranking assassin like Codi who had been trained to temper their anger, could not win against Nunu's obnoxious behavior.

“Hehehehehehehe, hearing Mr. Codi's blaring voice, I was relieved. That means Mr. Codi is fine.”

“So, what's your purpose here? You want to avenge me for injuring your master?”

To Codi's question, Nunu shook his head.

“No, Mr. Codi. Quite the contrary, I want to comfort you because I'm sure that's exactly what Mr. Helios.” hopes for

“Heh, everything seemed to glorify that Demon Prince without knowing how his true heart was.”

“And it's actually you who don't understand, Mr. Codi.”

The relaxed atmosphere immediately turned tense when it entered the discussion about Prince Helios.

“Do not understand what? It was clearly he who had killed Prince Leon.”

“Master Codi. Just think about this carefully. Didn't we both go explore the monster forest with Mr Helios? Then when did He have time to harm Mr. Leon.”

“Didn't he be separated from us for more than an hour during his confinement in the dungeon's interior?”

“So Mr. Codi thought that Mr. Helios had taken such a short time to get out of the dungeon and was moving at lightning speed towards the capital which should normally be reached in more than a day if on foot then do murder to Mr Leon then immediately come back here again with lightning speed anyway without everyone in that place when it realized?”

Nunu paused a bit before continuing, “Wow, I had absolutely no thought of it. Mr. Codi's imagination is incredible. It seems Mr. Codi is talented writing a novel wuxia.”

“Hey, girl from the red-eye tribe. You really think that the Demon Prince is incapable of doing so? You yourself have seen how he suddenly had wings and flew quickly at that time?”

“With the sound produced by that wing, maybe me and Mr. Codi have been too budeg times yes so we absolutely cannot listen to the sound of the wind at that time.”

“Maybe he used some sort of silencing magic. Or maybe the Demon Prince could even teleportation magic like in those wuxia novels you talked about.”

“I told you this is not a fantasy, but a reality! Since Hestia couldn't possibly lie to us and betray Prince Leon.”

“Well, maybe your sister wasn't lying, but could it be that her memory was fake? If we have met the witch plague at that time, it is not impossible if there is also a witch that can change a person's memory. Isn't blaming black magic here more logical than accusing Mr Helios of being the culprit?”

The words from Nunu instantly made Codi's confidence tremble. He subconsciously confirmed Nunu's words in his heart because everything was possible if it involved black magic. It makes more sense that the memory of the Hestian side is altered than to think of how Helios was able to go back and forth from a very far distance and commit murder in only about an hour.

***

My life was empty when I heard the news of my stupid brother's death. He was a brash young man and always looked down on his brother. However, I still love my bad brother very much.

If I had not left him that day, then I could have protected him so that Leon would not have had to die in such a cruel manner.

But why did this happen? Leon is very strong. He was a level 5 sword master who with a little more thrust, should be able to become a grand master following the footsteps of the first true hero, the Aries Hero. Who could beat a young man as good as him? I have absolutely no leads.

Is this the work of the plague witch colleague that Isis was holding? If it was him, I would swear to rip off every piece of meat to make fish. I swear I will do it on my honor!

But what will happen after my revenge? There is no more my foolish brother in this world. No more brash sister would call her brother trash. Whatever revenge I've taken, it won't change the fact that Leon is no more in this world.

“Life is stifling. Should I follow you to nature there, Leon?”

While muttering that sentence, I involuntarily fell asleep.

It was a strange dream. Is this because I miss Leon so much that I dream of our past?

It was a memory of our past where I used the power of my water element to form very beautiful bubbles scattered in the sky where little Leon at the time seemed very enjoy the bubble.

“Kakak Helios is indeed the best! Brother Tius will not be able to make beautiful bubbles like this with the fire element.”

I patted Leon on the head while smiling at him.

“See right? Big brother, right? From now on, you can count on Brother anytime.”

“Hmm.” Leon nodded at my statement.

“But unfortunately, we may not be doing this again yes, sister, because I have now become a corpse.”

The atmosphere in my dream instantly turned grim. Leon's face slowly paled like a corpse figure. Then, his figure slowly disappeared into the darkness.

“Tidaaaaaaak! Don't go, Leon!”

I can't describe the sad feeling I felt at the time. I could only think of disappearing from the world instead of feeling that terrible pain.

But then someone patted me on the shoulder from behind. It was Leon, this time in his adult form.

“Yo, Sister. Long time no see.”

I instantly knew that it was just an illusion ever since Leon smiled so gently at me back then. I just can't imagine if it was the real Leon, he could smile this warmly at me. Therefore, it was certain that Leon standing before me right now was only the embodiment of the figure I most wanted to see right now the bottom of my heart.

“Leon.”

However, I am very grateful to be able to see once again the figure of my sister's face even though it was only in a dream.
