Become Tyrant On My Own Way
Chapter 231 – HERO MEANING

[Yasmin POV]

Why are humans always selfish creatures?

When things get worse, they will tend to turn away and leave it to others to solve problems they do themselves.

That is why the concept of heroes emerged in this world.

A versatile servant born only to solve the problems of mankind.

I've been wondering over time.

Is someone among the human race who is destined to be a hero really able to enjoy their lives?

They did acquire power and credibility among mankind, but in return, their every action was kept under the watch of the people.

A hero must always be right, must not stray to the wrong path.

A hero should not complain, should always smile in public even though his chest is stuck with arrows though.

Humanity is constantly high on expectations of heroes, demanding that heroes do things that are even beyond humanity.

They seem to forget that the true hero is only one among a little human race.

They are not omnipotent.

If they bring glory to mankind, they are indeed worthy of praise.

But if they once wrong even trivial things, why should they immediately be denied existence just like that among mankind?

Isn't that weird?

Is it so unnatural for a hero to make a mistake?

They are also human, so it is only appropriate that they also make mistakes.

It's still mending if a hero is ostracized for making a mistake.

But my father, King Priam, only to be feared for his existence as one of the generations of heroes, had to die at the hands of the people of his own kingdom in his weakened state.

Not only that, even my brother Hector had to die after defeating Valhalla even though he could have been saved if immediately treated by the priests at that time.

In fact, my brother had to die slowly in the presence of people who were afraid to treat him for fear of the existence of my brother who had extraordinary powers that were considered to endanger the world.

Heroes are just disposable items.

Once they no longer have any use value, they will be removed immediately.

And it is not in the hands of the enemy, but in the hands of those who with their own blood and sweat have protected with all their hearts.

Heroes will forever be remembered by the world, but their existence is never once expected after an era where real threats are no longer seen.

Heroes are no longer useful without the existence of Demon Lords.

And that is exactly what Master Helios will experience.

***

“I succeeded. After a long struggle, the world will finally have its peace! Ukh.”

Perhaps due to being too carried away, after defeating the Demon King Ozazil, Helios vomited blood.

“Master!”

“Master!”

“Kakak!”

The four hero parties plus Leon who had just arrived at the scene after the fight ended immediately approached the wounded Helios.

“This long war is over. Ukh. Finally the world can get its peace. Hahahahaha... Uhuk..!”.

“Master, please shut up! Let us treat you. Albexus, please save Master.”

“Give me, Albert.”

“Peace?”

Doctor Minerva who was also at the scene immediately muttered the sentence.

“Is there anything, Doctor Minerva?”

Alice who saw Doctor Minerva's expression looked displeased even though the Demon King had been defeated, so wondered.

“That peace will come only by the defeat of the Demon King. You see, the greatest enemy of mankind is actually a demon residing in the hearts of each person.”

“A fight against self-lust? This is what the proverb says that no matter how dangerous the circumstances outside are, they are nothing compared to the breaking of a human heart from within. Will man lose to his lust or they can control it for the sake of a better life, it all depends on the choice of mankind.”

“Well, you're right, Alice. Moreover, what was defeated by His Majesty Emperor Helios was only the body of the Demon King's puppet. The original body of the Demon King was still fine inside the tower. As long as we don't drop the tower, this disaster will never end.”

Apparently, Helios had been listening carefully to the conversation between Doctor Minerva and Alice.

Trudging, Helios tried to get up.

“Yeah, that's right.”

“The fight is still not over as long as the tower is still there.”

“But obviously, we can enjoy these peaceful times at least fifty years away.

“For now let us celebrate our victory first after successfully defeating the Demon King.”

The five hero parties were laughing at each other enjoying their victory in joy.

At least, that was until someone spoke.

“Who said you beat me?”

A gripping voice filled with terror of fear and misery suddenly sounded.

What's strange about that is that it all comes out of Leon's mouth.

“Leon?”

Helios trembled at the sudden change in her sister's expression, especially her voice which instantly reminded her of the existence of a certain being.

Helios had a hunch that he was wrong in acting, he could have lost his only remaining brother again even after Leon had experienced various sadistic and terrifying experiences on the demon continent just to survive.

“Hahahahahaha. Don't you recognize me from my aura, hero?!”

“Cannot be. How could you possess my sister. Quickly you get out of there, fucking Ozazil!”

“Hahahahahaha. Do you think I let that witch just save this kid and hand him a dragon's corpse to increase his power?”

“Of course the corpse of the dragon I gave him was also one of my doll bodies.”

“With this child fused with her, she also ended up being one of my doll bodies."

“Well, hero. Let's start round two.”

“I don't know how you beat me, but I won't be stuck into the same trick anymore.”

Leon's claws sharpen.

Although Leon had completely separated himself from the corpse of the dragon thanks to Helios, the sign of the Demon King doll was apparently still embedded in Leon's body.

And the Demon King could even still use the dragon power part on Leon's body.

“Hero, get ready!”

“Then I managed to kill you, or you killed me with your sister's body, I think both are things worth watching.”

“Not so, Brother?”

“Which will Brother choose?”

“Available to sacrifice killed the sister?”

“Or Brother will kill me a second time?

In his last sentence, the Demon King used Leon's voice which really made Helios waver.

“You, tega-neganya..”

Helios' eyes wet.

He's really in a state of frustration.

The Demon King was clearly not as strong when he was in the body of his Ozama puppet.

It was because he had just awakened in the body of Leon's puppet.

But that's not the problem now.

If the Demon King is killed, Leon will also die with him.

That was why, none of the Helios party started the movement.

All were alert to Helios' decision.

Including Alice who was no longer able to bear the guilt after killing Ilene with her own two hands.

And also including Albert who had chosen to betray Helios because of lack of trust in his master's decision.

“I was expecting it to be like this.”

But in the midst of the atmosphere of despair, a woman who had not seen her existence in the story, suddenly appeared.

That's Yasmin.

The flat-faced Yasmin for the first time revealed her brightest and purest smile to Helios.

He flew towards Helios.

Helios wanted to reach him, but apparently Yasmin just passed him.

Yasmin was apparently about to hug Leon who had been possessed by the Demon King.

Leon's sharp claws immediately pierced Yasmin's chest.

Yasmin bled out blood through her mouth.

Yet as if unconcerned by his own circumstances, Yasmin begins her spell.

And a sacred spell that has never been seen in that world was just issued by Yasmin who instantly enveloped her body and possessed Leon.
