Adventure In Another World Eclipteria
Chapter 25: Night of Darkness and Hatred II

Amid the chaos and hot temperatures created by Belial's eruption, the battle between Carres and Belial continues. Carres, Sera, and Aiko have tried their best to deal with the cornered Belial.

Belial smiled sinisterly as Carres arrived, feeling confident that he had trapped his opponent. "You're in my trap, you idiot!" he shouted in a arrogant tone.

Without mercy, Belial activated his attack. A number of huge fire pillars suddenly appeared around Carres, encasing him in the flames that were devouring the ground around him.

Carres was stuck in the middle of the approaching pillars of fire. He knew he had to act fast. With courage and speed, he focused his strength. His great sword lit up with radiating energy, and with a swift movement, he swung his sword towards one of the pillars of fire.

The contact between Carres' sword and the pillar of fire created a small explosion. The fire pillar was cut in half and disappeared. Carres continued moving at lightning speed, smashing fire pillars after pillars of fire.

However, Belial would not simply give up. He felt even more furious and started to unleash other fire attacks towards Carres. A fierce battle between fire and sword ensued within Belial's fire trap, and Carres' fate depended on his bravery and skill in dealing with this attack.

Belial decides to issue his ultimate attack, "Inferno Nova." This attack was one of the deadliest he had.

With dramatic movements, Belial gathered fire energy around him. A gigantic fireball with a gleaming core appeared above his head. The flames around them became increasingly violent and smoldering.

Carres, who was trapped inside the fire trap, felt panic when he saw this attack forming. He knew that he had to act quickly or would be recovered in this attack. With great determination and courage, he continued his attack to destroy the remaining pillar of fire.

As the giant fireball reached its full size, Belial threw it towards Carres quickly and hatefully. The fireball formed a deadly trail as it hurtled towards Carres.

Carres tried hard to avoid the attack. He moved as fast as lightning and precisely destroyed the last pillar of fire that locked him away. However, Belial's "Inferno Nova" attack was too late to be avoided completely.

The giant fireball exploded with incredible force around Carres. Its massive explosion shattered the ground and made a deafening blast of heat. Carres was blown away by a strong heat wave.

However, Carres did not give up so easily. Despite being injured and bouncing, he still had the determination to fight back. He leaped out of the lingering hot vortex and stood in the midst of destruction.

“Sera, give me heal!” Carres yelled for help to Sera, who quickly cast her healing magic spell. A healing light enveloped Carres, helping to reduce the pain of the previous attack.

However, Belial did not provide an opportunity for them to breathe. Ruthlessly, he attacks Sera, trying to stop the healing she is doing. Belial unleashed another deadly attack.

Carres saw the danger and quickly blocked Belial's attack. He jumped in front of Sera, using her body as a shield to protect her friend. Belial's attack hit Carres, sending him bouncing.

Carres was pushed a few steps back by the attack, his body injured. However, he remained standing tall and prepared to continue the fight. Blood flowed from his wounds, but his determination did not waver.

Sera, though shocked by Belial's sudden attack, did not stop in her attempt to provide Carres with the necessary healing. The healing light continued to flow, relieving some of the pain and recovering a little of Carres' strength.

The fight continued, Belial felt something strong was coming to let himself off guard. Carres took advantage of the weakness shown by Belial, attacking him ferociously. His great sword snatched the air, slashed through Belial's wall of fire, and inflicted deeper wounds on the demon's body.

Belial bounced and hit the wall, making a big hole in his castle. “Sial, I'm off guard.”The injured Belial tried to get up, as he wanted to stand up, he had the presence of someone by his side. When he turned around, he saw Haruki, someone who had been his great enemy all along. “Need help?” Haruki said offering his help.

"Of course" said Belial at last. He knew that in this situation, fighting was his priority. With Haruki's help, they might be able to stop Carres and his comrades' increasingly powerful attacks. Together they prepare for a stronger counterattack.

“Haruki, why are you helping the enemy!?” Shouted Aiko.

Haruki just turned his head with an indifferent expression. When Aiko called him an enemy, Haruki smiled cynically, almost as if feeling sorry for them.

"Enemy?" Haruki said in a disdainful tone. "From what I know, you're the enemy." His words were cold, filled with burning anger. Haruki gave off a gripping cold aura, and the room that was previously burning hot was now turned into frozen ice.

Haruki flicked his hand gracefully, producing waves of ice that ran through the entire room. The previously hot temperature instantly dropped drastically, and even the air felt like it was frozen.

Aiko and her comrades felt cold, especially after the fierce battle that previously made them sweat. They were shivering, and some of them even found it difficult to breathe in a room that was now filled with ice.

Haruki stepped forward, remaining with a cold and stern expression. This action showed everyone there that he had turned into an unknown figure, one who was ready to protect the occupants of the tower.

Carres, flabbergasted by Haruki's drastic changes, unceasingly unleashes his ultimate attack on Haruki. His great sword shone with tremendous power, and he shot towards Haruki at lightning speed.

However, before Carres' attack could hit the target, Haruki stopped with one hand raised. As Carres and his sword approach Haruki, something unexpected happens. The ice power radiating from Haruki seeped out rapidly.

The Sword Carres that was approaching Haruki suddenly froze instantly. That powerful sword turned into a fragile ice talisman and broke out with a clinking sound. Carres was flabbergasted by the overwhelming force that had destroyed his weapon.

Haruki only looked at Carres with his sharp gaze. There was a sense of confusion in Carres' expression, a distrust of what had just happened.

“Must be, the sword that easily killed the Kraken on the 20th floor, destroyed so easily!” Said Carres, before finally being hit hard by haruki, making him slam away.

Haruki looked at Carres and his comrades coldly, the sense of power he emitted became even more profound. Carres, who had been bounced off by his punch, felt how great the difference in strength between

them.

"Now will you still boast about your small strength," Haruki said in a proud tone.

Carres' other colleagues felt a deep sense of despair. They, who had previously regarded Haruki as a friend, now saw him as an undeniable enemy. The vast difference in strength became apparent, and they realized that this fight would not end with their victory.

Kira and Lily arrive at a critical moment, seeing the despair that surrounds Carres and the others. Lily immediately took action, yelling at her friends, "Close your eyes!"

Quickly, he threw something that exploded with a bright light, blinding the eyes of everyone in the room. The bright light caused them to close their eyes to protect their eyesight.

After the bright light dimmed and the vision returned to normal, Haruki realized that Carres and his comrades had escaped. "They ran away, yes," Haruki said in a cold tone, knowing that his strength had made them feel desperate.
