Chapter 18: Against Yuki

Haruki kept trying to defeat Stone Wyrm with determination, making sure not to damage the monster core. However, suddenly, Yuki took the initiative.

"Haruki, I will take care of the monsters outside for a while. And make sure this monster core is not destroyed ya~" Yuki said with a beautiful smile while saying goodbye to Haruki.

Haruki glanced for a moment, gave his permission by nodding, and refocused on his fight against Stone Wyrm. Haruki knows that Yuki is a strong girl and is able to handle various situations well.

Yuki gracefully moved towards the outside of the battle, where Lily and the other members were. He muttered softly, "It's time to take care of the little guests."

"Who are you, and what is your relationship with Haru!" lily snapped in a resolute tone, hands ready to hold her sword. He realized that the person standing in front of them was not someone that could be ignored.

Yuki smiled full of happiness, seeing the reaction from Lily and the others. He also saw that they had prepared their weapons. "My name is Yuki, and Haru is mine~" Yuki said with an evil smile, as if she felt happy to be able to surprise them.

Kira sternly stated her stance, "Hey, Haru doesn't belong to a cunning fox like you!"

Yuki raised his eyebrows slightly, seemingly not being too affected by Kira's words. "Is that really so?" he said with a look of disdain.

Lily spoke up in a stern tone, "True, we are her friends, and we will bring her back to us!"

However, Yuki remained calm, like playing around in this situation. He smiled as he recalled the good memories he had with Haruki. "But we've done a lot of things together over the years. Haru and I have a long history together."

The feeling of tension continued to fill the air. Kira, Lily, Sera, Aiko, and the rest of the group are ready to face Yuki, even though they know that Yuki is a very strong girl. All they want is to bring their friend, Haruki, back with them. Nothing will stop them in their efforts to do so.

Stone Wyrm whimpered in agony and looked extremely helpless. As Yuki looked at her, she realized that their time was very limited. Without much ado, Yuki was getting ready to act.

With a sudden change, Yuki gave rise to the power of her fox. He unleashed a deadly attack with his magic, presenting the fire element with a dazzling style. His juror was known by the name of 'Kitsunebi, ' a technique that manifested the fox's power in the form of deadly flames.

The smoldering flames gathered in Yuki's hands as if they were an intense blue fireball. With a smooth movement, he threw this fireball towards Lily, Kira, Sera, Aiko, and the rest of the group with speed and precision.

Yuki smiled cunningly, knowing that her charm had managed to manipulate the members of the adventurer group. The four members of the group held back the bodies, Lily, Kira, Sera, and Aiko, making them unable to move.

Yuki was annoyed that his plan was interrupted, but he chose not to kill the adventurer group. "You guys are really lucky" Yuki said with a cynical look, humbling them.

With the fireball still raging in his hand, Yuki removed the fire and moved quickly, leaving them lying down. He returns to Haruki, who has finished his fight with Stone Wyrm.

Haruki smiled gently. "Yes, I'm fine. This is the monster core that was just now," he said, handing over the monster core that he had just defeated.

Yuki accepted the monster core happily. "Thank you, Haru. You've always been so brave and strong." He immediately moved to heal the wound on Haruki's arm.

Then, Haruki asked, "Next what should we do?"

Yuki explained as he continued to heal Haruki's arm, "We will summon the monster that is in the lake with this monster core, and take out the artifact that is in his head."

Haruki nodded in understanding. "Okay, let's do that." He looked at the monster core that Yuki was holding and prepared to continue their adventure together. "I'm so lucky to have you here, Yuki."

Yuki smiled. "So was I, Haru~"

The two of them moved swiftly towards the calm lake, where a thin mist was still left in the surroundings. "You wait here" Haruki pinta. Yuki nodded and gave the monster core to Haruki, who received it carefully.

‘Frost Walker’ Haruki walks casually over the lake where his every step on the water makes the water freeze.

Yuki looked in awe as Haruki walked so confidently over the frozen surface of the lake. "You're really amazing, Haru," he said with a smile.

Lily, Sera, and Aiko finally regained their senses and wriggled. They still felt a little weak, but at least they were already conscious. Lily asked, "What happened?" seeing that the other 4 members had already lost their lives.
