Chapter 22: The Destroyer of the Party

Yuki's soft hand grabbed Haruki's hand, pulling him closer to the middle of the crowd. The dim light and alluring music filled the air, creating an alluring party atmosphere. Yuki dances around Haruki, displaying an infectious spirit.

"Haru, look! Everyone is so excited!" yuki exclaimed, pointing at the merry demons. His face was radiant, emanating happiness that was hard to ignore.

Haruki looked at her with warmth. "Yes, they really celebrate with passion. It's good that we can enjoy this celebration for a while."

They followed the flow of the crowd, trying to get drunk in the euphoric feeling emanating from the demons around them.

Haruki gently pulled Yuki's hand and slowed their pace. When Yuki stops suddenly, she almost loses her balance, but Haruki quickly catches up with her, keeping Yuki from falling.

"Don't hurry, Yuki," Haruki said attentively, stroking Yuki's hair gently. "You could've hit someone."

Yuki smiled sweetly and confirmed herself inside Haruki's warm embrace. "I'm too enthusiastic, yeah. Thank you, Haru."

"Why do you think Belial bothers Hana so much?" ask Haruki, curious.

Yuki pondered for a moment before replying, "Umm... Lady Hana once said that Belial is a better person than never before."

Haruki grunted softly. "That's it?"

Yuki nodded. "Yes." Yeah."

"When did you hear that?" ask Haruki again.

"When I came home from the assignment given by Madam Hana," explained Yuki.

Haruki continued to look at the joy of the demons who were celebrating this celebration. "But isn't he that bad?"

Yuki nodded in agreement. "Yes, Madame Hana may have her own reasons. But clearly, Belial looks very different here."

Haruki feels increasingly curious about the reason behind Belial's behavior and reputation. "We have to be careful, even though the atmosphere here looks bright."

Yuki and Haruki are having fun in the crowd. They visit various food stands, try various delicious dishes, and even participate in exciting games. They managed to win several prizes, including the doll that Yuki now hugged tightly.

“Wah, it was so fun, Haru!” yuki said enthusiastically, happy with the result of the game and the prize.

Haruki smiled and nodded. “It's okay, Yuki. Celebration is indeed for fun.”

However, Yuki started to feel guilty. “I'm sorry, Haru, it looks like I'm a little overreacting-”

However, before Yuki could finish her apology, she noticed something. “Haru, look!” Yuki pointed towards a red-haired woman with fox ears, they recognized the woman. “Mrs Hana came here!”

“You're right, but what brings him here?” haruki asked while watching Hana's whereabouts walking towards the castle.

Yuki nodded in agreement. “Maybe we better catch up soon.” Without waiting any longer, Yuki darted towards Hana quickly. Haruki followed her from behind, trying to stay by her side as they approached Madam Hana.

“Mrs Hana!” yuki exclaimed with a bright smile.

Hana turned her head and smiled gently when she saw the arrival of Haruki and Yuki. “Ara~ what made you come here?” Hana glanced at Haruki with attentive eyes. “It looks like you are becoming stronger than before, Haruki~”

Haruki explained, "Yuki asked to defeat Belial."

Hana's a little confused. "Why is that?"

Haruki replied, "He said he'd heard you that it's better that Belial never existed than before."

Hana smiled gently. "Ah, that's just I'm just annoyed with what he's doing, don't take it seriously. And again, there's no problem between us."

Hana issued an invitation letter. "Ah~ The race leader of this tower gave an invitation. Looks like there's a celebration to be held."

Haruki and Yuki looked at the invitation letter with curiosity. "What is this celebration?" ask Haruki.

Hana explained, "This is the annual celebration held by the race leaders here. A large event that gathered many demons from all over the floor. I was invited to represent the fox race."

Yuki touched his chin, thinking. "So, that's why Mrs Hana is here. And what should we do?"

Hana smiling. "I think you're going to enjoy this celebration a lot. Come on, let's go to the celebration location together."

The two of them agreed, and together they headed to the location of the celebration, ready to celebrate with the demons of the various races on the floor.

“One more thing, you guys wear this mask.” Hana gives Haruki and Yuki two beautiful masks. These masks had intricate and colorful designs, depicting the characteristics of the fox race. Haruki and Yuki received the masks and put them on.

They entered the huge celebration hall, adorned with beautiful decorations, orchestras playing beautiful music, and invited guests wearing various masks. An atmosphere full of excitement and mystery enveloped the entire room.

Hana, Haruki, and Yuki tread carefully through the crowd, keeping their masks meticulously to keep their identities hidden. They feel like they are entering a completely different world, among the extraordinary beings celebrating this celebration.

"Don't let anyone recognize us" Hana said in a soft voice. "We have to find out what Belial is preparing here."

They go on to explore this celebration, looking for clues or signs about Belial's sinister plans. All eyes were on the upcoming event, and they felt closer and closer to this mysterious truth.

Haruki and Yuki enjoy the dishes served in the celebration. All the dishes seemed to match the tastes of the demons present at the celebration. There were various exotic dishes that they had never tasted before.

"It's amazing" Haruki said as he ate the dish voraciously. "Who would have thought that the devil's celebration could be this beautiful?" Yuki also looks very enthusiastic, tasting the dishes.

From behind Haruki, there was suddenly someone who approached him so deeply, that his lips almost touched Haruki's ears. Viametta's soft voice broke their silence, "Hi, we meet again~" he said in a teasing tone. But their meeting ended because Belial was already present in the celebration.

Belial performed charismatically amid a gathering of race leaders in attendance. His voice echoed in the room as he spoke.

"The presence of the leaders of the races, you know that man has acted in our land. Earlier, I wanted to tell you that our threat, the Goddess Container, is no longer protected by a disturbing figure."

A wave of rumbling and attention immediately crept across the leaders present. They spoke slowly to each other, trying to digest the news delivered by Belial. Haruki, Yuki, and Viametta were also not left behind in this exchange of information.

"So, they are no longer protected," Haruki murmured, understanding the significance of the news.

Viametta gave a sharp smile, as if this was good news for her unfolded plan. "It looks like we're going to witness a big change in the near future."

While race leaders gathered to discuss his next course of action, Belial concluded his speech. "We must unite, take over our land back from the humans, and bring about an age of demonic glory."

Suddenly there was a man with armor who looked very strong, broke through the door making a mess.“Huft... Very tiring...”.

The arrival of the men with strong armour along with Sera, Aiko, and their allies created a stir amidst the gathering of race leaders. The eyes of the race leaders spun towards them, and the atmosphere became tense.

Belial is amazed and soon identifies Sera, a nemesis who always manages to disrupt his plans.

"You!" belial shouted, his face red with anger. "What are you doing here, man?"

Sera smiled confidently, "We came to end your plan, demon. Your power won't stop us."
