Chapter 42 Dinner

Kaji looked at Eve who had only been quiet since then while eating breakfast. “You're still mad at me for last night?”

Eve just kept quiet while being glimpsed by the two twins.

“Come on, I've apologized to you,” Kaji said.

“Not good talk while eating,” says Eve.

I pouted and sighed. “Good. I won't talk, but I just want to say that tonight you have a meeting with Mr. Adam.”

Eve furrowed her brows with a smile, as the man returned his sentence. He repeatedly persuaded Kaji to have the man explain the meaning of his words earlier.

Kaji who saw the look on Eve's face like that really enjoyed it and smiled ignorantly. “Hem! I'm done.”

Seeing Kaji walk away makes Eve rush after him. “I also finished.”

Kane and Kein who saw that also soon followed.

“Kaji-kun? Hey, are you deliberately ignoring me?” tanya Eve managed to block the man before climbing the stairs.

Kaji smiled as he held onto both of Eve's shoulders. “This is your chance to reply. After what your ex-husband did, you always refused and forgot about him. Don't-don't you still love her, huh?”

Eve violently brushed off Kaji's two hands. “Who said I still love him?! He doubted me and kicked me out without mercy. Even he doesn't care about my suffering all this time, why should I still like him?”

“Then come and avenge your pain to him,” Kaji said without hesitation.

Kaji frowned seeing Eve looking down. “Why?”

“Can you come?” ask Eve.

“Haa ... Eve-chan, this is Raymond's family problem, and I from Kamiya's family who have no connection can't interfere with your problems,” said Kaji.

Eve breathed a long breath. “Thank you for troubling me.”

Kane just put on his stupid face with a smile. Kein just took a long breath.

Eve descends the car while wearing a knee-length cave blazer and the latest model sunglasses enters the luxury restaurant. Once inside, some restaurant workers lead him to one of the VVIP rooms.

Adam stood up in welcome and Secretary Rey saluted. Eve sat down after herself was welcomed.

“So why did Mr Adam call me to the night grave, and not my future husband?” ask Eve.

The two had dinner while Adam glanced at Eve occasionally.

Young Master glanced at Miss Eve from earlier. Haa, Rey's secretary said inwardly.

“Hem! Sorry Miss Eve, I didn't mean to reprimand. But if Miss Eve eats without taking off your glasses, you could say you don't appreciate Young Master,” Secretary Rey said making Adam look at her in shock.
