Chapter 18 Favorite Food

Eve had not been able to climb the stairs, she had met her father.

‘’Daddy, I just wanted to see you,’’ said Eve.

Mr. Percy went down the stairs slowly. It was obvious that his condition was still weak, making Eve help him down.

‘’I intend to make Dad some dishes, but it looks like Mom and Cordelia need a chance.’’

Eve helps her father into the dining room. Mr. Percy was wide-eyed at the sight. Seen there are so many ingredients, vegetables, and spices filled the kitchen table.

‘’I asked Big Brother for help to teach me how to cook, and I'm also sorry about yesterday's incident. Sorry to embarrass you. Dad's right, now Brother is married, so I have to do homework. Moreover Father is sick, I should have been self-conscious, so forgive me, Father.’’

Adam was silent for a moment while looking at his father who was also equally silent. ‘’He actually wanted to accompany me, but his father was sick so he went to visit his family.’’

Kaji nodded in understanding. ‘’It means Mr. Adam's wife must have been very kind and loving.’’

Mr. Percy stared at Cordelia's cooking and ate it. He seemed to enjoy the cooking, but reprimanded it for the better like Eve. Ms. Christa and Cordelia just threw a dislike look.

While Mr. Percy ate, Cordelia and Ms. Christa cleaned the kitchen before they ate. It didn't take long, the kitchen was cleaned. Bu Cordelia first headed to the new dining table followed by Cordelia.

After dinner, they finally went home. Kaji took the three men home with him in a limousine, without telling their private driver to pick him up.
