Chapter 13 Visiting Father

Eve woke up realizing it was morning. He got up while glancing to the side. Seeing Adam sleep peacefully, he recalled the incident last night when he was almost slept by her husband. His face returned glum.

As usual, Eve would wake up early to make breakfast for them, even though Mr. Moriarty had already reminded her not to have to do that. In fact, in his heart he actually wanted his daughter-in-law to cook every day. After the test he gave, he often had Eve make him a dish.

Shortly thereafter, Adam appears wearing a bath towel robe. Lord Moriarty who saw it, immediately looked at the two of them in turn with a suspicious look.

‘’Hmm, it looks like I will have a grandson in the near future.’’

Eve's face spontaneously flushed, though in the end they didn't. Adam just put on a flat face without telling his father that they didn't do it at all.

‘’What's up?’’ ask Adam flat.

‘’So, how was last night? You're not too rude to him, are you?’’

Hearing his father's question, Adam gave Eve a quick glance. Mr. Moriarty increasingly put on a suspicious look.

Adam answered with a short sentence. ‘’No.’’

Mr. Moriarty was getting amused, making Adam frown. Not wanting to see her wrong father continuously, making her tell the truth.

‘’We didn't do it last night.’’

Like hearing bad news, Mr. Moriarty rounded his eyes while putting a fork and knife to the table violently. ‘’What?! But you're wearing a bath towel robe.’’

Adam explains to his father that Eve is still not ready to be touched, so he gives lightness until his wife is ready. The man spontaneously looked at Eve with a face like a baby who wanted to cry. Seeing that made Eve not know how to react.

‘’Dad, we are having breakfast, we can discuss it next time.’’

By force, Mr. Moriarty ate breakfast. He also actually could not force his will to the child and his daughter-in-law.

‘’Cordelia? Cordelia? Cordelia!’’

The woman fell silent as her husband asked for Cordelia's whereabouts. Mr. Percy frowned seeing that his wife was silent, making him ask once more.

‘’Ah, Cordelia? D-He is cooking to welcome Eve.’’

‘’Cooking? She can already cook in one day?’’ asked Mr. Percy a little doubtful.

Ms. Christa nodded and assured her husband that their daughter could cook. She even offered to bring Cordelia food, but her husband refused to keep it for Eve.

‘’Then, I'll go to the kitchen to help Cordelia. Ah have you taken any medicine dear?’’

Mr. Percy nodded, until finally Miss Christa walked into the room.

‘’Wire! Why did I forget about it?!’’

Cordelia's Room

Miss Christa opened the door violently. His eyes were round and wide, seeing his daughter still sleeping on the bed. He approached her and told her to get up.

‘’Cordelia! What the hell are you doing? Quickly wake up!’’

Cordelia frowned and covered herself with a blanket, making Miss Christa pull the blanket violently.

‘’Cordelia! Getup! Your father will judge you worse. You're forgot? Eve's coming here and your father just called you. Lucky I took the excuse that you were cooking to welcome Eve.’’

Quickly, Cordelia got up and saw that the clock was already showing at 9am.

‘’But I can't cook. Why did Mom say that to dad?’’

‘’Eish, why should it be like this?!’’ gerutu Cordelia hurried to get up.

Secretary Rey opens the door for the Grand Master, Young Master and Young Miss who will be visiting Laurence's family home.

The man leaned back from earlier while closing his eyes. He was still thinking about what his wife had said, saying that Cordelia was cooking to welcome Eve.

I actually wanted to believe Christa's words, but if Cordelia was really cooking, I should have smelled her scent long ago. My kitchen and room are a little closer. When Eve cooks, I always smell her, but Cordelia doesn't.

Because it feels suspicious, it makes Mr. Percy want to see it directly. He got out of bed and went out of the room to go to the kitchen.

Before they headed to Laurence's house, Rey's secretary got back in the car after she brought some parcels.

Cordelia grimaced with oil splashes repeatedly making her grumble.

‘’Aduh! I can't do it! My skin hurts so much!’’

‘’Ush! Lower your voice! How about your dad hear?’’

Cordelia grimaced in pain. He wiped his eyes from crying a little. As with Miss Christa, the woman grimaced because there was no finished cooking.

Since his body was still not in a stable state, making Mr. Percy a little slow heading to the kitchen. One more footstep and it will come. But his steps stopped when he heard the sound of a car engine.

Miss Christa and Cordelia were stunned. Their panic multiplied when they heard the sound of the car coming to a halt from outside.

‘’I was about to want to see Cordelia, but the sound of the car suddenly distracts me.’’

The woman breathed a sigh of relief. It turned out that her husband had still not seen the two of them before. That means he and his daughter are safe. She held her husband's arm.

‘’Then, let's welcome Eve. It must be him!’’ he said he pulled the man away.

Secretary Rey got down the car and opened the car door. Eve appears with Adam and Mr. Moriarty. Not forgetting, Rey's secretary took the package. They climbed the porch. Not yet had Rey's secretary pressed the bell, the door was already open.

Mr. Percy and Mr. Christa were surprised by the presence of Mr. Moriarty and Adam who turned out to visit.
