My babysitter Maduku

My babysitter Maduku
Chapter 27

"Aw! Why are you pushing me?" anissa screech as she grimaced with the pain because Dodi pushed her hard enough.

"Didn't I do that to you a lot and you like it too, right? But why are you refusing now? Don't be such a hypocrite, Mom!" sahut Anissa with a big smile looked at Dodi.

"Come, Anissa! Forget about me and move on with your life. You're young, you're beautiful and I'm sure there will be a lot of men waiting in line to get your love. After all, back then I was just messing with you because my love was only for my Wife. I'm sorry" Dodi said, pleading with the woman.

Anissa's lips twitched and her eyes looked teary after Dodi said that. "You can do it, Mom! If it's true that you do love Madam Arini, why are you playing with me behind your wife, huh? Yes, you are right! I could've gotten a better husband and more everything from you. But, there's something you know, Mas ...."

A few minutes later.

"It's done! Just call Mas Dodi, Anissa and Mom. Um, Bi Surti called me, yeah. Let Arini call Mas Dodi" Arini told Bi Surti.

"Good, Non." Bi Surti nodded in agreement then immediately went towards Bu Nining's room, while Arini returned to her room.

"Tumben Mas Dodi is late? Usually at this hour he has followed me to the kitchen," Arini muttered as she stepped into her room. "Dodi was sleeping again when I woke up? Ah, how could Mas Dodi be like that. After all, all the clothes and equipment I've prepared."

On arrival at the door of his room. Arini saw that the door to her room was still tightly closed. He opened the door to his room and it turned out that Dodi was still in the room.

"Loh, Mum. Why don't you take me to the kitchen?" arini asked as she approached her husband who was wearing his shoes while sitting on the edge of the bed. Arini sat down next to Dodi while hugging and resting her head on the man's shoulder.

"Sorry, I'm late. This is Mas just getting dressed" said Dodi.

"So Mas went to sleep again huh, after Arini woke up?" Arini asked again and now her eyes were fixed on Dodi's tangled face. Suddenly Arini knitted her eyebrows together in surprise, because there was something different from her husband's face that morning. Even the eyes of the man looked puffy, like a person who had just cried.

"Mass? Mas why? I'm crying, huh?!" peekkik Arini while examining Dodi's face.

Dodi chuckled softly then grabbed Arini's hand which was now on her face. He smiled and answered the question from his wife. "Crying what, anyway? Where is the history of your Mas Dodi crying? You're this, " said Dodi while slowly shuffling the top of Arini's head.

Arini smiled and was a little more relieved after hearing the man's reply. Just then Arini remembered her little baby, Azkia. She looked back and the baby was no longer there.

"Loh, where's Azkia?" screech Arini while rising from her sitting position and then looking for the existence of the little guy.

"Oh. Yes, it has been. We better go to the kitchen because breakfast is ready," asked Arini who again hugged Dodi's stocky arms.

"Yuk, Iah!" The couple immediately came out of their room. However, when passing through the door of Anissa's room, Arini again spoke to Dodi.

"Mas first, yeah. I want to call Anissa first let her have breakfast with us. You see, this morning he will go to his friend's boarding house to take back the items he entrusted to his best friend," said Arini.

"Yes, okay. I'll wait in the kitchen, honey."

"Yes." Yeah."

After Dodi leaves, Arini immediately knocks on the door while calling her name. "Anissa, are you inside?" ask Arini.

"Yes, Mommy. Come in, the door's not in the lock, all right."

After hearing the woman's reply, Arini opened the door. "She, let's have breakfast first, yuk!" take Arini who is just standing in the doorway.

"Good, Ma'am." Anissa who was carrying Azkia immediately approached Arini.

"Here, let Azkia come with me. You have breakfast first," said Arini as she grabbed the little Azkia from Anissa's embrace and she accidentally saw Anissa's eyes that looked swollen. Like people crying, just like Dodi.

"Well, Nis, what's your eye? Looks like you've been crying, really?"

Arini watches Anissa's face carefully and inexplicably thinks that it has something to do with Dodi. Because Dodi was the same, the man's eyes looked as if he was crying.

"No, Ma'am. Before picking up Azkia, my eyes were twinkling. Because of the pain, I kept rubbing and it ended up being like this," he replied with a wry smile.

Arini smiled and tried to believe it. Although deep in his heart, he knew Anissa's answer was absurd. It was impossible just because of the flickering of something, both of Anissa's eyes were so swollen like that.
