"Ehm, Mr. Malik." Arini opened the conversation when the car driven by Mr. Kosim was driving broke the road.
"Yes?"
Still the same as before, the man's gaze was still straight ahead and did not look at Arini at all. However, Arini did not bother about it because he was getting used to his cold attitude.
"May I ask you something?" asked Arini hesitantly.
"Ehm, just say it," he replied.
"If you can, we eat it at the restaurant or food stall, sir. You see, my stomach is not used to the dishes served in a fancy restaurant" replied Arini, chuckling softly.
Finally the man turned his face away and now he looked at Arini who was still trying to hold back his laughter. He knitted his eyebrows together in surprise after hearing Arini's request.
"Why is it like that? But, if it's true. I'll agree. We can eat at a regular diner, if you want."
Arini nodded quickly and she was very enthusiastic to hear the reply from the man. "Yes, we eat in a simple restaurant, sir."
Mr. Malik smiled again. He once thought that Arini was just like any other woman. However, this time Mr. Malik changed his opinion. He knows why his late wife set himself up for Arini because Arini is different.
"What's your reason for refusing to eat at a fancy restaurant? Whereas for some people, it is the coolest place to eat because not just anyone can enjoy a dish in that place."
"Yes, that's right, sir. It's just ...." Arini stopped her speech and laughed softly. "But my stomach is not friendly with the food there. That's it," continued Arini.
Arini recalled when Hendra invited her to eat at a fancy restaurant. Even though his stomach is still hungry and screaming for more. However, Arini did not dare to say because he was afraid Hendra's wallet was screaming because he had to pay a dime even deeper.
Same with Mr. Malik. Yes, even if Mr. Malik is. However, Arini still did not want to beloroti the man's money any deeper. Given that Mr. Malik has spent a lot of money to pay for their wedding rings, not to mention the cost of the extra expensive wedding dress.
"All right then. You decide where we eat" said Mr Malik later.
"Good, Sir."
Finally, Arini decided to have lunch at a restaurant that is quite famous. He even had several meals there with Hendra, sometimes with Suci also when the weekend arrived.
"What do you think, Mr Malik?" asked Arini while watching the expression on the face of Mr. Malik who is now staring at the restaurant carefully.
"Yes. No problem," replied Mr. Malik as he opened his car door.
Arini entered the restaurant and sat with Mr. Malik at an empty table. It turns out they had lunch not just the two of them. Mr. Malik invites Mr. Kosim to eat with them.
Arini is no problem either. Because he thought this lunch was not a romantic lunch that he should enjoy only with Mr. Malik. When a waiter at the restaurant approached their table, Arini did not hesitate to order her favorite food and drinks. While Mr. Kosim looked resigned. He received whatever Mr. Malik ordered for him.
An hour later.
Arini smiled with relief because finally her hungry stomach was filled with her favorite food. Similarly, Mr. Malik and Mr. Kosim, the two men were very satisfied with the dishes provided by the restaurant.
While Mr. Malik paid all his bills, Arini and Mr. Kosim chose to wait in the car.
"You're very lucky, Miss Arini, for getting a male figure like Mr. Malik. He is a good man and very responsible" said Mr. Kosim.
Arini did not answer. He continued to look at Mr. Malik who was now walking towards him from behind the dark colored car glass. Unknowingly, a warm smile was on Arini's pretty face as she watched her future husband.
While Mr. Kosim smiled knots to see Arini who was stealing the view of his employer from behind his rearview mirror.
Now Mr. Malik arrives in front of his car. He opened the car door and sat right next to Arini.
"This is for you, Arini. And this is for you, Mr. Kosim," said Mr. Malik, handing each one a packet of food to Arini and Mr. Kosim.
"Thank you, sir." Arini happily welcomed the package. At least he does not have to bother cooking for dinner later.
So did Mr. Kosim, he was so happy because he had souvenirs for his son and wife at home.
"Together."
