Hendra sat pensively on the living room sofa while staring at the ring he had wanted to give to Arini. Suddenly Ms. Ria came to him and he was so surprised to find out that the ring was still in Hendra's hands.
"Well, why is the ring still on you, Hendra? I thought the ring was you-"
Hendra looked at Bu Ria while smiling wryly. "It turns out I'm late, Mom. Arini already has a future husband and soon they will have their wedding soon" replied Hendra.
"Arini is getting married? Wh-but who is the same? Why doesn't Arini tell me about Mom, huh?" Bu Ria furrowed both of her brows in wonder. He immediately sat down next to Hendra and looked at her.
"Maybe it's not time for Arini to tell Mom all that. Did Mom know? Arini's future husband is no ordinary person. Although there was a sense of disappointment in the depths of my heart, but for God's sake, I was happy to know that her future husband was a rich man. Yeah, well, at least Arini's life would be better than when he was with Dodi."
"Who is Arini's future husband?" asked Bu Ria curiously.
"Malik Abraham. Husband of the late Mrs Arniz. Owner of the boutique Zhanita Collection, the place where Arini works today."
"Loh, seriously you, Hen? If I don't hear wrong, that woman just died, right? Then how can her husband directly marry Arini when he is still in mourning. Well, don't-don't-" said Bu Ria stopped when Hendra grabbed his hand while laughing softly.
"Don't be so prejudiced, ma'am. In fact Arini and Mr. Malik were forced to agree to the marriage. All of that was the last request from Mrs Arniz before she died. But, I hope Arini is happy with Mr. Malik and Mr. Malik can make it happy. It's been enough suffering that Arini has felt so far" said Hendra.
Bu Ria exhaled heavily while looking at Hendra with a sad look. He touched his son's shoulder and then stroked it gently.
"Your heart is completely clean, Hendra. I pray that you quickly get a replacement that is no less good and no less beautiful than Arini. Aamiin!"
Hendra chuckles. "Aamijin! Thank you for praying, Mom. And may Mother's prayer be imminently affirmed by the Almighty God" he continued.
"Amijin!"
Because the witnesses and evidence were strong enough, and Angga had admitted his actions, the trial was accelerated. The man was eventually sentenced to life. It was also lighter when compared to the threat of public prosecutors who wanted Angga to be sentenced to death.
If Angga gets a life sentence languishing behind bars, different from his best friend. The man was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Although Mr. Malik actually felt a little disappointed with the decision, but he still tried to accept it with a chest of air. At least he can be calmer because the criminals have received the appropriate punishment for their actions.
Upon completion of the trial, Mr. Malik immediately visited the grave of Mrs Arniz. Mr. Malik noticed the tomb belonging to Mrs Arniz that looked so clean. There was not a single piece of trash or dirt there.
On top of the tomb of Mrs Arniz also appears sprinkling various kinds of petals that look still fresh and fragrant. Mr. Malik is sure, Arini is the one who cleaned and sprinkled the flowers.
The man smiled faintly then crouched down and sprinkled flowers that he had brought specifically for his late wife.
"Hi, Arniz. May you always be happy there. Do you know what, honey? Today I am very relieved that the two criminals were finally sentenced to the right punishment for their actions. I hope you will be calmer because they have received the punishment they deserve" said Mr. Malik.
Mr. Malik took something from behind his suit pocket. A diamond ring belonging to Mrs Arniz that had fallen into the hands of Angga. The wedding ring that he had given to Mrs Arniz was a special one and has now returned to his hands.
"This is your ring, honey. I'll keep this ring anytime because I know that you love this ring so much." Mr. Malik looked at the ring fixedly without blinking a single bit.
"Shall I give this ring to Arini? Or did I give her a new ring?" he muttered then with furrowed brows.
Mr. Malik put the ring back in his pocket and refocused it on the late Wife's belly button.
