Arini looks all right. For hours he had been pacing around in the room, waiting for Mr. Malik's arrival. However, until he began to feel sleepy, there was still no sign of the arrival of the man.
"What is he doing?" Arini glanced at the wall clock. "Do I have to follow up, okay?"
Arini stepped towards the door of the room. However, when he wanted to grab the doorknob suddenly he again hesitated with his decision.
"Ah, you better not. Later Mr. Malik even thought about the nothing about me," muttered Arini.
Arini was silent for a long time before the door until he finally decided to follow Mr. Malik in his private room. He came out of the room and walked towards Mr. Malik's office. He did not know where the room was, but after one of the servants told him, he immediately followed to the place.
Arriving in the room, Arini immediately knocked on the door. However, there was no answer from inside the room. Arini knocked on the door several times, but it remained the same. The room was quiet and there was no one in it.
Finally Arini ventured to open the door of the room and it turned out to be completely unlocked. The door opened and Arini immediately turned her head into the room.
As expected, the room was empty. There's nobody there. Arini closed the door again with a confused face.
"room's empty. Trus, where is Mr Malik now?"
Arini was forced to return to her room in shaky steps. However, his steps suddenly came to a halt right in front of a door of such a large room. The room looked different from the other rooms in the magnificent house, including the room with Mr. Malik.
Slowly Arini approached and it turned out that the door of the room was not tightly closed. Arini could still peer into the room from the door. The light in the room was dim as only the sleeping lights were lit.
However, he could still clearly see who was inside the room. Yes, he is Mr. Malik. The man sat on the edge of the bed very luxurious. In the hand of the man there was a sleeping garment that he kept holding and occasionally kissed by him.
Although it is not clearly visible how Mr. Malik's facial expression, but Arini knew at that time Mr. Malik was not okay. Arini was silent as she continued to look at the man behind the door.
Arini took a deep breath and intended to leave the room. However, just when he turned his body, he was surprised to find Bi Surti who was standing behind while watching him.
"Bi Surti!" scream Arini softly while stroking his chest.
"Non Napain is here?" ask Bi Surti back.
Arini grabs Bi Surti's hand and takes him away from the room. After the distance was far enough, he released Bi Surti's hand.
"That's Mr. Malik's room with Mrs Arniz. After Mrs Arniz died, Mr. Malik banned anyone from going in there. Not even we can" Bi Surti replied.
Arini nodded slowly. Now he knows whose clothes Mr. Malik was holding just now.
"Even just to clean the room?" ask Arini again.
"Yes. Mr. Malik cleaned the room by himself. Anyway he doesn't want the stuff in the room touched by anyone."
Arini breathed a heavy sigh. "Did Mr Malik always spend his time in that room?"
Bi Surti nodded slowly. "Yes, Non Arini. Aunty thought that after marriage, Mr. Malik would change, but it was still the same" said Bi Surti.
"I understand how Mr. Malik feels, Bi. It is not easy to turn away from someone we love. After all, this marriage happened only at the request of the late Madame Arniz before she died."
"Yes, Mr. Malik once told his best friend about it and Aunt accidentally heard it."
"Yes, that's it. I'll go to the room first, Bi. I'd better get some sleep. I was sleepy" said Arini.
"alright. Good night, Non. Have a good dream" replied Bi Surti.
Arini returned to her room. Before dropping himself on the bed, Arini had to pay attention to the object (casur) carefully. His gaze was blank and he looked sad.
"It seems like nothing will ever happen in this place." Arini sighed then grabbed a pillow and a blanket then carried her to the sofa.
"Have it, let's just say I stayed in this house and I don't know when I stayed here, only God and Mr. Malik knew the answer."
Arini put her pillow on the sofa then slept there quietly.
