Kino ran back down that long road. Along the way, Kino saw several small alleys of at least one to two garbage bags. He could only see how quiet the place was and began to realize that he was the only one running there.
“It's like being in a horror movie but a real version. Had Ryou known about this place, he would have thought he was in a zombie-themed game. Though hate it so much with Hanako's story in the toilet woman”
Well, one more weakness of Ryou besides the older brother is Hanako's story.
Someday if Kaito finds out, this could be the second weapon he can use to silence Ryou's scathing mouth.
After a long while, he realized there was another path ahead of him.
“Itu–”
Slightly increasing his running speed, he reached the T-junction.
“I had expected the road would branch out like this. There was no way this narrow, dark street would continue straight without a hitch. I have to find Theo-kun where else now?”
Because there was only a wall of buildings in front of his eyes now which meant that the remaining options were left or right.
Kino watched each turn carefully and meticulously. For a few seconds, he had gained enlightenment.
“Alright, if this is certain that any turn I choose still has a risk and I have reached the maximum level for suspicion on all these roads”
Not finished with everything he said just now, he felt like he had to take the next step in order to quickly find Theo.
However, Kino finally realized that he was now the one who was lost there.
“I really don't know where to go now. There's no guarantee I can get out of this place safely. Besides that too..”
Kino looked up. He tried to stare at the sky from where he was standing now.

Still confused by the chosen road, Kino decided to go to the left road which was felt to have more buildings and there were more turns.

This is a strange logic where the average person would choose a path without many turns in order to quickly exit. But in the mind of a genius child like Kino, there was always the possibility of the absurd.that the straight path was just a dead end or bringing it back to square one.

Another reason why choosing a road with many turns also makes the ratio to find new access greater. The goal is to find Theo so there's a chance the boy is going through this path.
That thought was too serious for a teenager his age. Perhaps it was also the influence of his current condition. Clearly, he believed in his choice.
“At least though it might get lost deeper but it is still better than choosing a dead end. Although I actually feel like I'm making myself bother. Ryou would definitely scold me if tau”
Kino who had decided to take the left direction started running down the road.
As he suspected, the road did have more buildings that opened without doors with no furniture or empty. There are many boxes of goods arranged up to several rows and also plastic bags that accumulate on some front side of the building or other narrow alley.

Kino kept running and finally started to stop because he was in the choice of way back.
There are four options including her path now. He could back off or back up. Or he could take the road on the right or left side where he was now which formed a small dark alley.
“Now I'm really lost. Theo-kun..please where are you now?”
Kino sounded very soft when he said that sentence.
He's looking at his pocket watch now and it's 10:15. It was almost noon and he could not find where Theo had gone.
“How is this? Theo-kun!! Are you here? Theo-kun!” Kino yelled out the name Theo
The quiet place gave quite a loud echo effect. Given the many damaged buildings there gives a thick horror atmosphere.
Kino put the silver pocket watch back in and started thinking.

The faces of the two children instantly changed.
“Theo...Kino-niichan meet Theo?! How can?” Fabil asked in panic and was full of wonder

Not wanting to be lost for longer, Kino told the two children everything. He tells how he met Theo and why he ended up in this strange place.
Throughout Kino's story, Stelani and Fabil continue to gulp their saliva while looking frantic.
The two could not even stop muttering inwardly.

Finished with the story, Kino looked at the two children.
“What are you two doing? Are you not feeling well? Your face is that pale now” Kino looks worried seeing both of them silent with pale faces
“.....” Stelani and Fabil fell silent
A few seconds later, Stelani ventured to ask.
“Ki–Kino-niisan, after meeting Theo what do you want to do to him?”
“What?” Kino was confused by the question
“After you find Theo, what will Kino-niisan do to him?”
“I just wanted to find him because he said he would help me find my lost pocket watch”
“Jam–”
“But because I had absolutely no idea what he was going to do so I tried to find him. Theo-kun lied to me and went alone somewhere. Of course I was worried about him and afraid something would happen to him” Kino continued his remark again

It might sound too good but since it was Kino who said it, Stelani and Fabil believed it.
“So far I couldn't find a path she might have traveled so I didn't know where she was going. Is Theo-kun home too?”
“He still hasn't come home. We just wanted to find it” Fabil answered that question
“So. Where was the place he was about to visit now? I don't understand this foreign place at all. How can you live in such an unworthy place? Are you guys really not in trouble?”
“.....” both just silence by holding back his panic
“If you really need my help you better say it. I will definitely do something for all of you”

“Stelani-chan, Fabil-kun..is what Michaela-chan said in the restaurant about the man named Justin right? Is it because of him, you all live in a place like this? Kino sighed gently and started hugging them back while whispering something.
