Chapter 230. A World Powered by Magic
“Kino, Ryou, we go from here”
“Why, Kaito?! I want to see it again!”
“I don't like this view. This might be overkill but none of them were willing to stop that magic fight. Isn't that weird?”
From the back, Kaito felt that something was trying to get close to Kino's pocket. With quick reflexes, Kaito immediately kicked the person.

“Kaito-san?!”
“I've been expecting something's not right”
Kaito's eyes turned sharp. Apparently, there was someone who suddenly appeared and was seen.
“Beastman? Besides, he's transparent! What is magic too?!” Ryou was surprised
Hearing Ryou's words, the beastman and female group instantly stopped fighting and all the townspeople who saw it stepped aside.
The movements of the townspeople were very strange as if they were being controlled.

Kaito pulled out his sword and prepared to attack the beastman who wanted to steal earlier.

Ryou looked at that and immediately clenched his hand. With a fist move, he tried to attack him. The beastman quickly crossed his arms and held back the fist, but Ryou began to punch in succession to make him retreat bit by bit.
“Kh! You brat!”

“......!!” Ryou who was about to land another fist retreated
The beastman attacked with his hand that turned big and just as the punch was about to be aimed at Ryou, Kino held him back by making a round kick towards the stomach.
“Kgh...” the attack failed to take place
“Kino, are you okay?!”
“I'm fine. They have magic. Looks like the explosion was just a diversion”
The half-elf female cast an ice magic that made her way around them freeze.
“If it works, not only get the stolen proceeds but can sell them all. It sucks! We kill those three! [Fire Ball]”
‘Two elements in one attack are really like cheating in the game! Why do we who do not have magic actually have to deal with everything!!’ Ryou muttered inwardly with a panicked face
From a distance, there was someone attacking the group.

Something changed the place. Suddenly there were no other residents except the beastman and the half elf female as well as the Kaito and Yuki brothers.
Another voice began to sound.

Kaito was close to injuring the beastman but suddenly the ground shook.
“What happened?!”
Everyone was confused including the group that attacked them. The ground they were standing on began to tremble. Kaito yelled at the two brothers to step back and it was the right move.
From under the feet of the woman and the beastmen came a wall from underground that had each side pointed in it like a torture device.
“This is top-level magic! All of you, run!!” shouted the half-elf girl
The three teenagers could only run and then look from afar. Surprisingly, the three of them were not the target of the attack.
“What happened? I thought the land would make us like dumpling-” leather Ryou said
“I don't know, but from that direction I heard someone say something. It might be magic”
Ryou and Kaito see Kino pointing towards the trees on the other side of the park. No figure had come out at that time however, the shouts from the group came into sight.

“Akh!!”
Shouts sounded. The soil confines them and narrows until some of the color of the soil turns reddish.
“They were confined in the ground and..mati” Kino pecked in shock.
Ryou started to feel a strangeness here. He was sure that it might be magic, but he did not expect to see it directly like this.

Not long after, came out a person wearing a black uniform with a third unrecognizable emblem.
It was a teenage boy roughly the same age as the Yuki brothers. Such a sharp and very cold look.
He looked at the three otherworldly teenagers then said to them.
“You guys okay?”
“We...it's okay” replied Kino
“So. They are a group of thieves and human traffickers. They often do the action but there was never a guard force that stopped them because of the lack of evidence”
“.....” all three are silent
“I followed them and was sure that they would definitely do it again. It just so happens that you guys are not hit by the magic of the controller”
Kino tries to find an excuse.
“We just...coincidentally there is in this place”
“I know. But it's very helpful. Thank you very much. With this, they have disappeared completely and there is no need for any more missing” reports
The teenager smiled. He looked at the three with a gentle face. But, Kaito still felt something.
