"My feet are frozen apparently"
That's what Kino said when Emily cast her magic. Ice magic is so fast in effect because the amount of water from Kino magic is so much.
Although the arena was coated with magic walls, but still the cold felt.
Some participants even complained about the coldness of the place.
"Cold!"
"Why is it this strong?"
Kino himself also felt a chill start to stab him.
His mind started to panic.
'The whole water is frozen! In fact, everything seems to have no gap to be able to melt back'
Kino started to try to calm down.

Emily who managed to prevent Kino's magic and freeze all the water that came out of her magic began to prepare and run to attack him.

Emily immediately attacked Kino with the ice.
Unexpected by Emily, the ice attack turned on her quickly to make a slight scratch on her clothes.

What really happened is still unbelievable. But this counterattack from Kino is something that happened accidentally.
When Kino thinks of holding back Emily's attack, she suddenly thinks of another magic.
A water shield is created and protects the Kino.

The water shield appears to protect Kino and reverse all the attacks that Emily has unleashed.
All the ice blades that were pointing towards Kino turned around to injure Emily. It could of course be stopped easily by the little girl's magic.
"That's really amazing magic. Emily knows you have a lot of potential for Kino"
"Emily is liking you now! Kyaaa~"
The little girl looked so happy to see Kino's magic ability which could suddenly reverse all of her attacks.
Unlike Emily, Kino who issued the attack actually did not think that she could cast water shield magic to withstand Emily's attack.
'What's going on? I never thought it would be like this at all'
'I was just thinking of dodging his attack. And I don't know why I started hearing other whispers'

A burst of water suddenly appeared from behind Kino and directly attacked Emily with a very strong gush.
"Eh?!"
Emily surprised. He did not think that suddenly there was a burst of water that tried to attack him strongly, so Emily decided to make another shield in order to avoid Kino's attack.
A simple shield made by Emily. Although it looks not so strong in the eyes of the others, but the magic is powerful enough to withstand Kino's attack.
The strong spray of water can still be held back by Emily.
But unnoticed by the little girl, Kino manages to break out of the ice freezing her legs by using the magic she just did to Emily.
Kino used that [Water Omotics] magic and pointed it slightly at her feet.
Such a powerful burst was finally able to melt the ice that was holding Kino's leg so that he could break out of the ice.
Kino looks happy, but still too soon to feel calm.
The fight is not over and Emily still has another magic to withstand every attack that Kino has.

As the little girl said, once the attack from Kino was over, Emily cast another magic.
[Wind Witch Ice Bell]
An ice magic that conjures up a myriad of ice crystals is accompanied by an illusion of a Goddess or perhaps a witch carrying a staff with an ice bell.
The illusion of a beautiful woman emerging from Emily's magic began to sound her bells and make all the ice crystals around the Arena begin to attack Kino.
It looks like nothing happened. But that's exactly what's a problem.
The ice crystals flew like a small blizzard towards Kino.
They stick to clothes and around Kino.
Although successfully driven by his water shield, but for the ice crystals that had been stuck in Kino's body gradually began to freeze his clothes.
"What's really going on? These ice crystal grains froze?!" he said with a panicked face
The illusion of a beautiful woman emerging from Emily's magic continues to ring her bell.
And along with that, the ice crystal grains that appeared continued to point towards Kino and clung onto her body and clothes.
It's exactly like Kino is facing an ice storm and having trouble avoiding the icy snowflakes that lead to her.
'I'm stuck?!' Kino panicked in his heart
He had absolutely no idea how to free himself from this ice attack anymore.
With an ice storm flying the ice crystal grains towards him made Kino feel that her water magic might not help her much.
'Redying here will only make me fail'
'And if I fail, then it's likely that the three of us's goal to help Xenon-san and find Kaito-san's memories will fail entirely '
Kino had to start thinking fast to get rid of the magic.
'We-sama, please give me strength!'
Kino begins to pray along with Emily who asks her if she wants to surrender or not.
The little girl tried to talk to Kino from a distance.
"Will Kino give up now?"
"Emily wouldn't have cast Emily's magic any more than this if Kino would've given up"
In Kino's heart, he still didn't want to give up.
And just like before, Kino regained another magic that came from her strong desire to be able to pass this selection test.

Suddenly, there was a lot of water.
But this time the water is like forming the figure of a dragon.
The water dragon began to spurt out an extremely powerful burst of water towards the female illusionary figure that Emily had put out.
"What is a dragon?" ask one of the participants who saw the fight
"How could he possibly create such a powerful magic?!"
Almost everyone who saw, including the examination supervisor, was very surprised by the magic.
This Emily even smiled as the water dragon appeared and attacked the illusion of a female figure being ejected from the end.
"Kyaa~Emily had already guessed that Kino was really quite amazing"
Emily felt that she had seen enough of Kino's abilities and magic power.

All the magic in the arena eventually disappeared, both the water dragon Kino had brought up and the female figure of Emily's magic.
"Eh?!" Kino was surprised
Emily suddenly just ran and hugged Kino look so happy.
"Participant number 88 passed. Congratulations on Kino's graduation"
"I..pass? But I didn't win at all"
"It's not about winning or losing. But, it's a matter of how the participants have magic potential strong enough to enter the Academy"
"And Emily has seen the potential of Kino"
Although Kino did not expect this to happen at all, he finally managed to show that he had successfully graduated and entered the academy.
Post 3, the examination hall [Level B Area] had approved 4 people and foiled 16 people out of a total of 80 participants. The remaining 60 participants should be tested.
