In a passageway that restricted the movements of a swordsman, there were piles of corpses of those who refused to die, the undead who should now rest in peace were now instead tormented after their second death.
And the one standing on top of all those bodies, it's Regal... With his body covered in blood as well as the scars and bites of the corpses he walked upright to walk down the passageway.
"Luckily, there were only a few archers and Caster. Otherwise everything would be messed up..."
Regal fell down and vomited blood from his mouth, the poison from the bite of the undead and the wounds he received turned out to be more severe than he expected. But the boy saw his hand again, the hand that had been injured for giving up the torment was now torturing itself.
Whether he chooses to stay or leave the cursed house, he prefers this fate. He tore his shirt and put on the cloth of it to tie it to the sword. Makes himself able to grasp the sword properly despite numbness.
The bodies of life came one by one, but the boy was able to handle it well. Until finally he was in a large space. There were no undead or monsters there, only a coffin in the middle of the room.
As he walked closer, the chest also began to move and opened on its own. Regal kept approaching even as the skull hand with the ring on each finger held the side of the chest to get up from his tomb.
Until finally Regal ran and jumped on top of the coffin, but suddenly appeared many fireballs from the coffin. Regal could only stay in the air until he was blown away from the chest.
While putting up the horses he saw the corpse in the chest woke up. Just by one look Regal knows what the creature is, the corpse of the Emperor who once claimed to be a God but was cursed by the God of the underworld for eternity.
"Adrian spoke of you, I don't think you're so damned that heaven or hell rejects you. Is your crime that bad? Ansgar Rosenhain's..."
The Undead awoke from his sleep, complete with the emperor's shirt and crown on the nail on his head as punishment. Regal who saw this clearly knew how dangerous he was, seeing how many Undead here were moving freely, making him think how dangerous they would be if the Undead had an expert leader like Ansgar.
When Regal began to hear him recite a spell he knew that he was trying to summon troops, Regal of course moved very quickly to slash Ansgar's head. Ansgar stopped chanting and installed defensive magic to protect himself, but still he was thrown far back.
But when Regal tried to get closer, he suddenly couldn't move. Regal finally realized, that the spell was not a summoning spell but a curse spell. And the curse worked on Regal.
Regal, whose body was heavy, tried to neutralize the curse with his Vis, but Regal could not stop Ansgar from summoning his subordinates.
Regal saw from behind Ansgar's robe a sea of blood, more concentrated than any blood he had ever seen and more foul than anything he smelled. The sea of blood covered the floor of the entire room, Regal then saw one by one the corpses began to rise from the blood.
Seeing himself unable to set foot, Regal finally jumped up and stuck his sword on the wall, breaking himself in the handle of the sword and looking at everything from above. More corpses of residents than corpses of knights emerged from the sea.
"So this is why you're not welcome in heaven and hell..."
Regal saw the residents, the little boys, the old men and the women were all there. Ansgar is famous for his crime of committing genocide in the past to be used as a result of his resurrection as a God.
Although not becoming a God, this was no less troublesome for Regal as well...
Like a small boat in a big storm Regal keeps killing everyone. When he began to realize that the corpse was getting fewer and fewer, Regal finally lunged at Ansgar with his sword that was almost broken.
But unfortunately, Ansgar smiled at Regal's sword held back by one of his knights. Regal's stomach was then pierced and held by the knight's corpse, then from behind him the armored cavalry began to attack him.
Inevitably, Regal cut off the two hands of the corpse and threw them at the cavalry and made their formation broken. Ansgar retreated from there, leaving behind Regal and some remaining cavalry, Regal finally tried to hold on but there were two spears stuck in his right chest and right thigh.
As the cavalry turned around, Regal forcibly removed the spear and threw it at one of the horses, while he overcame the other cavalry by throwing a sword from the corpse of the knight. All the bodies were returned to the sea of blood, there were no more undead, there were only Regal and Ansgar in the room.
"500 villagers, 100 knights and 30 cavalrymen. You devoured your people and even your army, but in the end you became a monster, not a God..."
Ansgar who heard Regal's insults finally stopped smiling. He tried to cast a spell, Regal who realized that it was a fireball spell was finally approaching.
And when he tried to shorten the distance, it was true that it was a fireball spell. Regal who ran straight was hit by the fireball attack, making the entire room covered by smoke. Ansgar waited for the smoke to subside to see Regal's burning corpse, but Regal instead appeared from the side and cut off his right hand.
Ansgar who saw it immediately raised the command staff from his left hand. The stick then smouldered and created a burning fire mace. The approaching Regal begins to fight with Ansgar in a melee fight.
Ansgar is not very good at close combat, nor can he retreat because Regal can easily close the distance so he can not cast any magic. But on the other hand Regal began to bleed profusely, if it wasn't for Vis pushing his body and if it wasn't for the rope tying his hands and sword then he wouldn't be able to fight.
Their battle was completely destructive around, the collision between the powerful fire magic with Regal's Vis made damage to the surroundings. Until finally Regal was thrown after being hit by a severe attack on his face.
The sword that Regal had stuck on the ground, Ansgar who saw Regal far away from the sword which was his main weapon finally started to approach and tried to grab the sword.
Regal who saw that his weapon will be used by the enemy finally began to use Vis to speed up his steps. Although Ansgar is fast yet he is slower than Regal, meanwhile though Regal is faster himself further than Ansgar.
Both of them tried to grab the sword with their left hand, even Regal who was a little further away also started to push his left hand and body with all his might.
Regal could see clearly that Ansgar was about to reach the sword, but when Ansgar was almost there, he could see a broken cavalry spear stuck in Regal's body now in the boy's right hand.
Ansgar, unaware of it, panicked as he could not hold on and could not retreat, while Regal held the spear in both hands and stepped once more to increase his speed. With Regal's speed and the added thrust of Asgar crashing, the spear struck the heart of Asgar.
Ansgar who was trying to fight slowly started to stiffen, The piercing Regal with all his might made the spear break with the tip of the spear stuck in the heart of the Emperor's corpse.
Having no more power to move, Ansgar ended up dead for good. Regal, who was leaning against Asgar's coffin, tried to catch his breath with Vis because of his badly damaged right lung. But with all the pain and struggle, Regal finally won.
