Ataraxia Abyss
Chapter 31: Aura of a Warrior

Regal was currently facing head-to-head with the ancestors of the Orcs. The Blood Mane Orc Grisha...

"What does it take for a human to meet me?" Grisha asked Regal, the young man came forward and knelt before Grisha. "I want to take the buried knowledge with you, make your soul fly to Ether and leave this tomb." Grisha who heard it instantly muttered.

"So you know that my soul can't go to any other realm?" Grisha asked but Regal answered with a smile. "Well... A high-level Undead was different from a lowly Undead whose body moved because his soul was already exposed to the darkness brought by magic.

I know that after fighting with many Undead, that's why I know your soul is still residing in your body. If I had expected, it wouldn't have been because you kept a secret or were rejected in heaven and hell right?"

Grisha smiled at Regal's words. "Indeed I'm guarding this tomb, but there's another reason why I've been sitting here for over 5,000 years. The Orcs had become rotten, they were indeed tough Warriors, but their spite and hatred really made me believe that I could not entrust them with the power of the Aura I had.

Even because of their greed, right now the Orc tribe is split into two when their job is to protect this Jura forest together..." Regal saw Grisha grieving, but this was already in his plan.

"Then how about we file a contract?" Grisha was shocked and asked. "Contract? What can you do human? Sprucing up your sacred magic so that I can die peacefully?"

Regal shook his head. "I'm a Devil, but I'm one who keeps my word. You give me knowledge and whatever it is that you keep for thousands of years to me, and in return I will unite the Orc race. Those in the south and north will live in peace again, the people you once did not believe I will unite and do their duty."

Grisha was obviously interested, Regal who saw the face of Grisha who thought it was clearly happy, because he had made a favorable deal for both parties.

"Why do you want my secret to go that far?" Regal smiled and replied. "Of course, power... All the misfortunes I experienced were because I was weak. Therefore I will make myself strong, no matter how unwelcome I may be in search of strength..."

Regal then closed his eyes, where he saw the white silhouette of a woman's hair. He opened his eyes again.

"... I will be a husband anyway. I won't be able to protect my family with half strength." Regal then looked at his hand, and without him noticing Grisha smiling in satisfaction at the answer.

"That's the answer I want to hear... Protecting not hurting, seizing but not conquering but not destroying. That is our principle of the Orcs of antiquity! Young man name your father...!" Regal clearly shook his head and replied.

"I don't have a father... I've never seen or known my mother's name since birth..." The Grisha then took out a huge Aura of hers, Aura who could even destroy the surroundings started to damage her tomb.

"What are you talking about?! You have one!!" After hearing Grisha's words, Regal finally came to his senses and finally knelt down while making his vow.

"I'm Regal... The son of Adrian Teloch swore on my behalf. I'll do this contract even when the whole world is against me." Grisha placed his palm on Regal's head and replied. "That's what I want to hear..." Gradually the Grisha's soul cracked and turned into ashes slowly, while Regal's body underwent a change. Regal's magic circuitry heated up and made his blood boil.

The feeling of torn muscles and re-creating new ones and dense muscles began to squeeze the bones into fractures. Regal could sense it just by studying that already lost Aura. His body was like it was being reshaped by his magic circuit. It was like the Aura in Regal's body not only strengthened his body while performing the Aura, but also strengthened his body even as he stopped casting magic.

However the young man did not budge at all, despite the many muscles and internal organs being damaged yet he held it all up with his spirit. His body could not use Vis for healing, but for him this was not a problem...

"Use it well. Teloch's Son..." Slowly the ashes of Grisha disappeared and flew up. "We've never met but I hope you'll take it up there." And with that Regal finally walked out of the tomb. However, as he approached the sealed entrance, he saw Kurdan, who was currently severely injured and lost his left eye and right hand.

"Did you win?" Regal nodded to Kurdan. "Let's bury this place..." And after doing first aid, they both came out of the tomb while scattering black powder all over the tomb.

"North Orcs have always respected the decision of the ancestors to keep protecting the secrets of the Grisha from outsiders and southern Orcs. But in the end we failed to protect her..." Kurtan burned his arm to stop the bleeding. He did not shout about the pain and just asked. "What are you going to do after this?"

Regal continued to stare at the blaze and said.

"I will unite the two tribes. Grisha has already paid me so there is no need to worry about the cost. Anyway I swear I'll unite the two tribes..." Hearing these words Kurdan smiled, and with Regal helping Kurdan walk, they went on to win...

———

It was a very big war. If Agronak did not hurry and kill Kurdan on the spot then the northern tribes would lose. But because of him who from the beginning targeted the secret of the tomb he finally left Kurdan who he believed would bleed to death.

The war was also an expensive price, starting from the death of one of the Commanders and the number of Orcs who died. If it wasn't for Regal taking half the 2nd post and a quarter of the 3rd post to focus on the first post in order to finish off his enemy faster in order to help the other post, then you can be sure the northern tribes lost.

And most importantly... If it were not for Regal, then the southern tribes would have won with Agronak coming out victorious. All the plans and all the victories had a great price, but they did not mind it, for them Regal's plan and achievements were truly extraordinary.

The name Regal actually spread rapidly throughout the continent. Yet even though he enjoyed his glory and fame, he still held firm to his promise...

Thousands of northern and southern Orcs gathered in a valley, they were both facing each other, complete with their weapons and stance, they were both going to fight it out. Kurdan who led the Orc army was already taught by the Regal method of ancient Aura but not the Aura he was currently using. Their aura allowed them to unleash their maximum potential accompanied by an Aura that strengthened them and made them take off their limits without driving the northern Orcs crazy, but on the other hand there was another fight...

———

Currently in the southern tribes. There were 4 large Orcs guarding the palace there, the four of them saw a human in black robes approaching the entrance of the palace. When two of them tried to stop him, in an instant their bodies and weapons were split in two.

Two more people tried to commemorate the others, but quickly a sword pierced them both. In the palace, the elders and the new Chief of the south, Gugnar, were meeting in a room.

The room was really noisy by the voices of many people who were all dissenting, Mugnar whose brother from Agronak directly slammed his greatsword and split the table.

"All of you shut up!!" The voice of Gugnar calmed the debate. When everything calmed down Gugnar finally spoke. "My brother is dead. Taboo the Orcs if they want revenge, but as a brother I can't accept this...

After we defeat their main army! We will destroy the northern Orcs until they become extinct and leave us alone! We are plunderers, our goal is that the tomb of Grisha has been destroyed, I am sure there will be no other reason for us to commit a massacre even though there will be many of our troops falling..."

When they heard Gugnar's words, suddenly they could see the door of their meeting room open. The door is so heavy that you need 4 Orcs to open it, it is now slowly opened by a human.

"As I thought. You guys are rubbish..."
