Ataraxia Abyss

Ataraxia Abyss
Chapter 60: An annoying reunion

In the kingdom that is above the sky as well as home to the Gods. Adrian walked through a hallway and finally reached the trial room in the house of the Gods. There were many Gods there, but there was only one Goddess sitting on the throne while the others were sitting on the podium. Adrian looked at the Goddess's eyes and said. "For a long time no see, Aria..."

The beautiful goddess covered by the golden aura as well as the beautiful golden hair replied with a solemn, flat face. "Adrian Teloch, your behavior is completely intolerable. Not only did you adopt a Nephilim but you also let the boy kill and lock my worshipper's souls into heaven or hell..." Adrian smiled and replied. "You have no right to rule me, remember? I am equal to you and will always be like that even after you throw me to hell. I'm in hell to rule it, while you and the gods are here to watch over the upper world, but guess what happens...?

A child falls into hell because no one wants to help him... I wonder if it's because you guys don't have a conscience or they follow your orders? I, as the ruler of hell, take care of that child, the child who can do nothing but torture and run, he cannot even get help from the Gods here. So I asked again, which part have I been wrong? Is it on my part to educate the boy, did I accidentally help the child of the angel you hate Aria?" Hearing those words Aria fell silent as well as the other Gods. It was an unavoidable fact that Aria and the Gods had abandoned Regal when they were in charge of governing mankind.

"I know we're all negligent, I admit, but the boy has lost the souls of my followers to the cursed sword you gave him." Adrian immediately put on the same serious and flat face with Aria and replied. "I was just making sure the boy was safe, so I gave him the sword to protect him. Because you know, I'm not sure you're gonna do your job right this time. And as for your Holy Kingdom that began to invade weak countries to create an empire under your great name? Now I'm asking Aria, what do you really want?" An irritated Aria finally stood up and raised her voice to Adrian. "Who do you think I am?! Don't think just because you're equal to me you can yell and rebel against Celestia's rule!" Adrian looked at Aria's eyes and replied. "I'm not Celestia you remember... You dumped me, and those who swore allegiance to me because you feared your throne being overthrown... But whatever happens, even if I'm no longer a Celestian, if you don't want to protect them then I'll protect the world..."

Everyone was clearly shocked by the statement of the God, even when he had already lost his honor and was now a God without many followers and worshippers, Aldrian still stood up to protect this world. But when everyone was upset, only Aria was the one who still had no expression. Adrian smiled and said. "So, the first topic is over! Can we go on to the next topic...?"

Near his garden, Regal came out of the forest carrying the corpse of a deer. He then looked around, until he finally saw a slime that had a body of fire. He also took the monster and also other ingredients such as mushrooms and vegetables. After he got to his house, he started cutting and cooking the deer with slime as cooking oil, after he had served it all he finally gave most of his cooking to a servant to share with the workers who were in the house and garden. Meanwhile Regal leaves two dishes and takes them to the dining table for Regal and Kallen to eat. The two of them are now having a peaceful day, their finances are stable because Regal and Kallen have completed many high-paying jobs. Plus their wine sales and bar opening really caught people's attention.

Kallen drank his wine and asked. "Well, is that his condition? Perhaps Mavis and the Demon Generals who were there were busy dealing with such things." Regal shook his head and replied. "There's no way Mavis would have trouble holding back the demons, if I had contacted her he would have at least sent a quick reply. But seeing him not call me in a few days worries me..." Regal was obviously worried about the situation in hell right now, though,Adrian once said the reason why hell and the Abyss have different time flows is so that powerful demons are not born in hell and break out to the surface. He didn't know why it happened, but he believed Adrian's words.

"By the way, I got a job." Hearing that, Kallen glanced at Regal. "What's that?" Regal gave a letter to Kallen and he read it. "Dungeon Expedition? Why would the Great Wimbledon Witch ask you to go on an ordinary expedition?" Regal took back the letter and replied. "I don't know, but it seems important. Anyway, I also have a need with the old man..."

Eventually Regal left Kallen and went to Wimbledon to take the job. He also reached the magic tower of Avior the Great Wimbledon Witch. There he was well received and eventually Regal met the old man again after a long time. "You haven't changed much during Regal's year?" Hearing Avior's pleasantries, Regal immediately sighed and spoke. "Just get to the point, old man... I'd like to ask you something after this job's done."

Avior laughed and finally explained. "This is classified information. Follow me..." Regal and Avior go to the underground magic tower. And when he got there Regal found a portal similar to the one he had seen in Avior's hideout. He saw the old man and said. "You old man sucks..." Avior smiled then went forward and opened the gate to the Dungeon.

Regal, who had no other choice, immediately put up Adamas and called for Balmung. He then entered the portal and carried out his duties as usual...
