Ataraxia Abyss
Chapter 40: The Prince of darkness

After conducting a strategy meeting with the King and the Dartanian Generals, the Dartanians finally decided to send the details of their plan to Maryam, and Regal was lying on his bed. He was treated like a king, whatever he asked would be given by the servants, even women. But Regal who did not like to keep silent finally went to the training field in the palace.

There he could see the Dartania knights training very well, although not as strong as the Orcs but they had excellent techniques in fighting, but Regal's gaze was fixed on a sword that was on one of the shelves. He began to look at the sword intently, and he could see that the sword had a water-like pattern running down his blade.

"It's made of metal that only exists in Dartania, Maardan." Regal turned aside and looked at the person he had just seen in the throne room. Regal then lowered his head and greeted him kindly. "I'm just looking around, Prince Asghar..."

After their meeting, Regal started looking for information about the man he saw yesterday, and from the information he was able to finally know that the person in front of him was the only son of the King Sayid Pasha, that is Asghar Pasha.

"No need to be formal, after all you are the King of Warriors remember? What does a Prince mean in front of a King." Asghar gave the sword to Regal, he then took out a new sword and went to the middle of the field. Everyone immediately stopped training and gave space, Regal then looked towards the roof, where there was one General who was in the meeting, as well as the windows and doors.

Wherever Regal is currently being tested. Finally Regal stepped forward and mounted his horses, as well as Asghar who prepared.

Asghar started to hit Regal, but Regal easily avoided his first slash, their swords then clashed several times, but his sword was easily parried and avoided. Until finally Asghar coated his sword with a black Aura, the Regal that was holding back the Asghar slash was now pressured so heavily that the floor below it was damaged. He then swung his sword and made Asghar take some distance.

Regal smiled and said. "The Dark Lord does not seem to be a mere epithet..." Asghar smiled then lunged at Regal again, the two of them started getting more serious by taking out their respective Auras. Regal knew one piece of information about this plain, those who lived in the Agatha Borderline on average had wind or earth elements for protection from storms, this was like their magic circuit evolved over generations.

However, there is one person who was born with sword burn and magic that is suitable to fight the sandstorm in Agatha Borderline, the Prince of Asghar... With his ability, he could manipulate sand and coat his sword with a black Aura that resembled iron sand.

His body can move easily like the wind, but when he moves fast then he will hit very hard, as well as his sharp and heavy sword, is really a very unique talent, he said,to make the sword Regal began to break without damaging the blade of his own sword. Regal was clearly aware that his sword would not last much longer.

He finally lunged with focused force on his blade, making Regal move faster than the eyes of the soldiers watching the fight, but Asghar could see it clearly,Regal aimed for the Asghar sword to break it in order to make Asghar surrender, but Asghar was able to avoid Regal's horizontal slash, instead Asghar pulled his sword from the bottom up, Regal's sword quickly shattered into pieces.

Asghar saw the opportunity and he tried to injure Regal's chest a little, but what happened was beyond everyone's expectations, Asghar with all his ability to swing his sword from top to bottom, but Regal quickly dodged the trajectory of the Asghar sword by dodging to the side, Asghar being shocked and his sword still speeding down made him full of gaps, making him full of gaps,Regal hit the prince's elbow until he lost strength in his grasp.

Regal caught the sword with his left hand, he then swung his body while swinging his sword, the slash was so strong and fast that it could not be seen by anyone. Everyone thought that Asghar's head was already split in two because of the attack, but they all finally came to their senses, that what Regal was swinging was his broken sword.

And as he knelt in shock, Regal put the Asghar sword whose blade was still intact on the owner's shoulder. "The vertical groove was full of the Prince's slit... A little wrong then an attack that will kill your opponent will instead kill yourself."

Asghar smiled and raised both of his arms and said. "You're right... I'm surrendering..." Regal eventually helps Asghar to stand back up. But there was one thing Asghar thought. "Why did I see my own death?"

Regal smiled and answered the question. "Illusion, I can make one's soul experience illusions. But this time I didn't use it, you know... One's fear will dominate when faced with death.

Even the strongest Warrior would experience those hallucinations if he were afraid of death. So don't be so sad Prince, there are no living beings who are not afraid of death..."

Regal finally left after he gave Asghar's sword back to him, Asghar saw Regal from behind, he realized that his technique and strength had indeed lost, but he was more interested after hearing his words earlier. He said that there were no living beings who were not afraid of death, so why did Regal never show any fear?

The three Generals who had been watching from earlier now took to the field and approached him. The 2nd general of the sword, Hesam, asked Asghar. "Your Majesty, are you okay?" Asghar was still in shock, but he was better and finally answered. "Well..."

The general dubbed the Taring Storm, Bahman, commented.

"The strongest warrior, really a proper nickname..." Followed by the General who nicknamed the Eagle Eye is Elnaz. "Doing such a plan was really risky, but he did not show the slightest fear, even when he was fighting against a talented Aura user, he did not use his Aura..." Hearing the three generals of his kingdom praise Regal, Asghar asked.

"If you gang up on him, is there a chance of winning?" The three did not reply and tried to avoid eye contact with Asghar.

"Is that so? It seems we were lucky that Dartania recruited him before the three kingdoms glanced at him... So, did Maryam agree to it?" Bahman nodded and replied.

"Maryam agreed with his plan, the war will start in 3 weeks."

Hearing that, Asghar smiled and replied. "Well, I really didn't think he had this crazy idea..."
